It's a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. A spacious room with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend this hotel!
The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a private hot spring pool and a sauna, which was a fantastic bonus. The view from the front desk was also stunning. The hotel staff provided excellent service. It's a perfect spot for families, friends, or those traveling with children. You can even contact the hotel in advance to arrange airport pick-up and drop-off.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404.
After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience.
The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it!
Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week!
A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable.
We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive!
The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok.
I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.
An exceptional hotel made even more memorable by the genuinely warm and friendly staff. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality stood out—they kindly offered us an upgrade to the honeymoon suite and arranged an early check-in at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Throughout our stay, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless, from organising our hot air balloon experience to recommending fantastic local food spots that we absolutely loved. Their attention to detail and willingness to help truly elevated our trip.
And a special mention has to go to the hotel’s adorable dog, Mr Pickles, who adds such a charming and unique touch to the whole experience—he quickly became a highlight of our stay!
Highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and unforgettable stay.
The room was fairly clean and tidy. A deposit is required before check-in. Breakfast is an extra charge of approximately 166 RMB per person, served buffet style. The selection of good food wasn't extensive; it was purely an experience. The restaurant downstairs was expensive and the food was terrible; the coffee and drinks were equally expensive and unpalatable. The hotel offers free access to a Turkish bath, swimming pool, and gym. Upon check-in, my friend and I shared two rooms, one with a shower and one without. We only discovered this upon check-out (the showerhead in the non-shower room was directly above the bathtub, making standing while showering very inconvenient and slippery). We later complained to the front desk, who initially apologized, saying the rooms were the same type, but then changed their tune, saying I hadn't selected the correct room type when booking (?).
While cave hotels are pricey due to their unique location and history, one night's stay is usually sufficient to get the full experience. The front desk staff and servers were all incredibly warm and friendly. The lady in the kitchen even shared some freshly baked sweet pastries with us, which made us feel very much at home. Some rooms offer views of the hot air balloons taking off in the morning. However, whether they fly is subject to daily conditions, and cancellations are quite common. (We stayed for two days; they flew on the first day but not the second.)
The food is fine.
The overall design of the room is comfortable and the toilet is bright. Fully equipped, but no TV.
Excellent location, very close to the bus terminal. No need to go up the slope.
❄️ Arrived late at night at Traveller's Cave Hotel around 11 PM and it was snowing — the whole place looked like a winter fairytale.
The next morning we woke up for breakfast hoping to see the hot air balloons, but unfortunately they didn’t fly that day.
Luckily, the following morning the sky was full of balloons over Cappadocia — totally worth the wait! 🎈✨

Small hotel with a few rooms. Located on a rural street, far from the center. The rooms are clean, the hostess (the only employee of the hotel) is friendly and willing to meet requests, but speaks only Turkish, we communicated with the help of a translator)) in the annex to the building where breakfast is held it is very cold, the rooms are also cool, there is no heating it worked (we were there at the beginning of May) We lived in room No. 4. There was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom, it needed to be cleaned (I read this in reviews before). WIFI only works in the reception area, next to the router. WIFI does not work in the rooms(( Breakfast is very modest, there is no coffee, always only Turkish tea, a few small pieces of cheese, always less than 5 pieces, a little olives and black olives, a lot of bread. One small saucer with jam and one small saucer with honey. A few slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. And that’s for 5 people. (Three of our friends lived in room No. 5) The hostess always brought scrambled eggs from the hot dish, one small frying pan for 4 small pieces of scrambled eggs for 5 people! put wine in her refrigerator for cooling. The rooms do not have a TV, there is no air conditioning, there is no refrigerator. The description on the website indicates the size of the rooms as 70-90 square meters. This is not true. The rooms are small, about 12 square meters. And there is a very large double bed. The base of the bed is larger than the size of the mattress, so you constantly hit your feet against the wooden base. You can’t walk between the window and the sinkhole, there’s about a 20-centimeter gap.

Great
GGuest UserThis was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and the views from the rooms were amazing!
The breakfast was lavish and I looked forward to it every morning. The staff were very kind and always polite.
The mascot cat, Kuroneko, was also cute.
Uchisar is at a higher altitude than Goreme, so the views are generally beautiful and I personally recommend it. (It's not too far from the hot air balloon spot either.)
I'd love to stay here again if I come to Cappadocia!
RRuan BeukesThis hotel is excellent! We do not have a single bad thing to say about it. The staff really make this place from the moment we arrived it was 5 star service! The hotel tour was exactly how I feel every establishment should be. Breakfast was unbelievable and the service always with a smile!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the terrace offers a beautiful view. The common areas are also very appealing, and in the evenings, there's even a bonfire while you enjoy drinks – it creates a fantastic atmosphere! There are many cats around the hotel, all very friendly and well-behaved. I highly recommend the room type I stayed in; although not huge, it never felt damp, and the window view was stunning. This is a significant upgrade from the standard rooms, which only have small windows. Definitely worth it! The hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the cats seemed very pleased too!

AAnonymous UserThe room is ready when we arrived at 5pm. The room is clean, there are 1 queen bed and 2 single beds which able to accomodate the 5 of us. The hotel is beautiful. They served you many options of food for breakfast. The most important thing, they allowed us to leave our luggages while we completing the tour and wait for the airport transfer to come and fetch us.
QQieerxihahahaCappadocia kistar cave hotel recommended
In Uchissar, near Pigeon Valley and Uchissar Castle.
It is the best hotel in the room in Turkey. Super big. There is already a big terrace.
The family-run boss and the family are very good. They smiled and gave a small gift when they left.
Less than 1,000 yuan during May 1st, much cheaper than the hotel in Goreme
Ctrip chose 2 big and 1 small when placing the order, but the hotel received the 2 big, but the bed is big enough for us to stay smoothly.
GGuest UserWe had a really lovely stay at Aza Cave Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well located in Cappadocia. The cave rooms are comfortable and unique, and everything was well maintained.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the views from the hotel especially in the morning were amazing.
It was a calm and relaxing place to stay, and we would happily recommend Aza Cave Hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
Yycxw1314loveThe hotel is located in an underground cave. It is a real cave. Parking is very convenient at the door. Breakfast is not a buffet but a set meal per person. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the bath water is not hot, a little bit mild, and I can't wash.
