The hotel is excellent. The room's decor and layout are fantastic. In the evenings, there's a live band performing in the lobby. And you absolutely *must* try their freshly-made desserts and snacks – they're superb!

I took the train from Manhattan to Waterbury. After getting off the train, I walked along Grand Avenue for about a few minutes to the hotel. I came alone to attend my child's graduation ceremony, and I didn't have high requirements in all aspects, so the Marriott hotel fully met my needs. Because of the language barrier, some issues were communicated through Ctrip customer service. I felt that Ctrip's butler service was timely and effective, and I was satisfied.

The facilities are a bit old, but the environment and service are good. When I checked out, he asked me enthusiastically and helped me get a cup of hot water. I asked him for hot water the night before.

The facility was lackluster at best. It used to be great. Eco friendly was claimed for not doing daily room service. Hypocritical. There were paper plates, plastic serve where, and poorly working HVAC units.  The organization was simply looking to cut down on costs. Similarly, I’ve seen better breakfasts at hotels that cost half as much. Vents in the bathrooms were nonfunctional. The window could only be closed from the outside. The room was equipped with a cabinet-type air conditioner by the window. It could not be closed but kept on all the time. It was very noisy and affected sleep. It was reflected to the hotel. And told the helplessness that every room in the hotel is the same noisy. Even the basic quiet sleep is not guaranteed, this Holiday Inn is disappointing.

Stayed there several times and have always been satisfied with thier service. Only a few min to Foxwoods ****** and lots of other attractions.

Overall, it’s okay, that is, there are fewer seats for breakfast on site, and there are fewer varieties of breakfast. The deposit on the spot is a bit high, USD100, it's been almost a month, and it hasn't been refunded yet. This hotel is close to the Christmas town of olde mystic village. Very suitable for seeing the Christmas lights. It is also only a road away from the famous mystic aquarium, which is very convenient to visit. The swimming pool of their hotel is very good, indoor heated, not cold, very suitable for children to play in the water. The hotel's restaurant is also good, short rib sandwitch is very good value for money, it tastes like Shaanxi Roujiayu 😄
