"Me and my wife did an overnight at the Circle Hotel Fairfield while attending a local event. The service people at the front desk were very nice and helpful, and there was someone staffing it overnight. They were also training new staff while we were there, but there was always someone experienced there to ensure good service. We had a dual-queen sized room as it was what fit our budget with the Trip.com discounts. We stayed in building 2 which is a very short walk from the main building. The room was spacious, basic but nicely enough decorated, and nicely clean-enough, though the toilet seat had been through some things and maintenance should have replaced it, but it wasn't broken. I let the front desk know and they said they'd have it addressed. The room had basic amenities (2 free bottles of water was nice), coffee maker, Ironing board iiron, soap, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, tissue box, etc. A closet with a few hangers It could have used more hangers and it would have been nice to have a suitcase stand. No dresser/drawers, and no phone. There was a serviceable mini-fridge. We didn't use the TV so I can't comment on it. There wasn't a book with local businesses listed or deals for them, etc. The front desk area has a little shop you can buy overpriced neccesities and drinks. There's a pool out back that looks nice. There's also a nice lounge area inside and chairs/tables to relax outside out back. There was a decent breakfast layout, but it's mostly a variety of bread stuffs/carbs - not diabetic or keto friendly. They did have hard boiled eggs, fruit, and hot cereal packets so there are meager non-carb options. There was also cereals, sugar-sweetend yogurts, and a variety of drinks including coffee and juices. The make-it-yourself waffles were a nice touch. I would have liked bacon or sausage, but overall for the room rate it was a nice breakfast layout. We'd ordered food at night from Seamless and got a delivery to our room door with no problem. Note: Restaurants close early in the area, but there's a nearby 24hr McDonalds that's drive-through and order-only after 10pm. There's also a decent diner open right next to the hotel during the day. And shopping center across the road. If you don't feel like driving, the local main street bus stops right in front of the hotel on either side of the street going in both directions. Great if you're checking out the local brewery, which also has good food and was an A+ experience. Just make sure you have quarters for the bus. $1.75 per person gives you a 2-hour ”unlimited” pass to use the local busses in either direction. Overall, we liked our stay and would stay again in the future if the price is right. Compared to our experiences with similar hotels, under $140 was just right for our room as they had minimal business and it was nicely quiet. If they were busier, I'd expect $100 to $120 deal, and very busy, maybe less.. If I can think of anything else I'll update my review. I hope it helps!"

I didn't realize there was no surface lots and I'd have to pay $25/day for parking. I might have missed that in the description so that's not really an issue. We were given a room on the top floor, in practically the farthest corner away from the elevator which was quiet, but far away from the rest of my daughter's teammates who were staying on lower floors. We dropped our stuff and went right to the pool. There were only 4 chairs and no towels left so we had to go searching for them and most of our stuff got wet sitting on the floor so that was frustrating. The signs on each floor say ”ice and vending” but the floors I checked had ice machines only and I had to resort to paying $4.00 for a can of orange soda at the bar for my daughter. The store in the hotel was closed, though I'm not sure if it would've been cheaper. After swimming and hanging out in the spacious lobby, we returned to our room to realize it wasn't very clean but it was time for my daughter to shower and go to bed since she had a gymnastics meet at 7:45 am. I took pictures of the hair tie in the sink, the bug on the bathroom floor, the hair on the vanity and floor, the stains on the bed skirt, etc. Kind of disappointed bc I usually stay at Marriott hotels for work and never have these issues. The coffee shop in the lobby was quick the next morning though which was good since we had to get up so early.

My first night at the hotel was fantastic, setting a positive tone for my stay. The second night brought a few challenges—minimal bathroom ventilation, a louder air conditioner, and some trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. However, the hotel staff were attentive and promptly offered me a new room, which resolved these issues and provided a much smoother experience. I took advantage of the fitness center, though navigating the new treadmills was a bit tricky since they weren’t pre-programmed. While the pool closure was disappointing, the hotel acknowledged my concerns and generously offered me a complimentary dinner with a drink. On the third night, I accidentally left my car keys behind when heading out in the morning. Upon returning, my key card didn’t work, but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Later, I relaxed in my room, appreciating the view despite a minor inconvenience with a broken curtain rod. Once again, the hotel addressed my concerns with care, granting me a complimentary night and a refund as a gesture of goodwill. While the hotel has room for improvement with its facilities, the staff truly stood out with their professionalism, teamwork, and genuine efforts to ensure my comfort. Their dedication turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that left me feeling valued. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is superb; it's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and there are several local restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – I fell asleep quickly and had a great night's sleep. The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and efficient with check-in, even proactively recommending some off-the-beaten-path attractions and tips to avoid tourist traps. The WiFi signal was stable, hot water came out in 3 seconds, and the water pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. To get this level of service and amenities at such a price is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

The hotel has a lovely exterior with flowers and greenery, and the lobby is also beautiful. However, the service was quite disappointing. We ran out of shampoo and shower gel. After calling the front desk to request more, it took them ages to deliver, so I eventually had to go down myself to retrieve them.

First checking in, the gentleman was very friendly and kind. After getting settled in the room it was nice. However, you could hear everything going on in the hallway. Upon asking for more towels there were no bath towels left due to being short staffed. Additionally the cleaning staff were exceptionally loud in the morning and had woken me up.

The facility was lackluster at best. It used to be great. Eco friendly was claimed for not doing daily room service. Hypocritical. There were paper plates, plastic serve where, and poorly working HVAC units.  The organization was simply looking to cut down on costs. Similarly, I’ve seen better breakfasts at hotels that cost half as much. Vents in the bathrooms were nonfunctional. The window could only be closed from the outside. I look forward to posting this on yelp unless you make amends.

The hotel was quiet and felt safe. I requested a handicapped room by the elevator( ahead of time) since I would not have my mobile chair or walker in the hotel. My room ended up being almost all the way down the hall, which meant I only came out when necessary. It would have been nice to be close enough to enjoy the restaurant, coffee bar, breakfast or the pool but everything was just too far. The ****** was only three miles away and that is where I rented a scooter for getting around. Overall, staff was nice, the room was comfortable and the walk in shower was nice. The is no Concierge to help with luggage and luggage carts are minimal. This review only has some lower ratings because of being a handicapped traveler. If my ability were not an issue, this hotel would be sufficient.

We were visiting the school, and this was the worst hotel with terrible service! I booked a king-size bed plus a sofa bed, which cost 300 yuan more than a standard room. However, the dark-skinned woman at the front desk was very unfriendly. When I got to the room, I found it was a standard room. I went downstairs to talk to her, and she was full of lies, saying they had upgraded us to two beds because the room I booked was no longer available. We immediately reported it to Ctrip, and another male front desk staff member changed our room. The service at this hotel is just awful! It doesn't live up to Yale's reputation!

The hotel is very close to the school, the environment is beautiful, there is a large garden behind, a few steps out is the small lake, the attitude of the service staff is also very friendly. I forgot to prepare pillows and blankets for the children who were studying in summer school. The manager not only helped me go to the supermarket to buy pillow blankets, but also drove me to school. Thank you very much!

I like this hotel very much. It is next to Yale University, with a great location and is very safe. The elderly receptionist who greeted us in the evening was very attentive and considerate, and the service was very good. It left us with a very good first impression of this city. The decoration is modern and stylish.
