Was upgraded to twin room which was appreciated. Room was well presented with enough storage space. Bed comfortable. Large bathroom with good shower. Just remember to close window blind as window not frosted glass! Breakfast was included and was very tasty although choice was limited. Service at breakfast was quick and staff friendly and helpful Check in and departure was dealt with efficiently and was able to leave luggage for a few hours.

Really lovely welcome when I arrived. I was early but the room was ready. Comfortable bed had a good night's sleep. I had dinner reservations elsewhere but then came back to the bar for coffees and a chat in the lobby with my son and his student friends theyu were warmly welcomed too. Didn't have the breakfast BUT had an amazing Afternoon Tea overlooking the sea with a friend.
Leonardo Hotel Brighton

I didn't intend to stay here, I confused this hotel with the seafront Leonardo Royal, and I was told by a taxi driver that it's a common mistake. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has a bright reception area with a bar , restaurant, and breakfast area. There are also a few toiletteries and snacks available to buy. The staff are efficient. My room was on the fifth floor with a view across the town. The room was very clean with a first-rate bed, largish tv., Espresso machine, a well stocked hospitality tray , slippers, toiletteries, a Mini fridge and a safe , although you are advised to leave valuable items in the reception. I slept well, I didn't really hear any noise from inside or outside. The televisions have restricted sound. There are key cards that not only open room doors but are required to call the lifts on the ground floor. There is a small selection of food available, pizzas steaks , pasta, fish and chips, and other pub favourites. Breakfast is taken in the extended restaurant , there is a great selection to most guests, continental cold cuts, fruits, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, pastries, smoothies, etc. Guests can set themselves up for the day. The seafront is approximately 15 minutes walk away, the quickest route, and it's downhill . The railway station is literally just around the corner, so this is also a good spot for those delegates attending conferences in the hotel. Overall , I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to others.

Check in was clean and error free, and friendly. Room was clean, pillows and blankets were clean, amenities available and convenient. Food service was excellent with lots of options including gluten free. Location was the best. Would highly recommend for others wanting a solid place to take a family.
Cavendish Hotel

Came over a little queer while away rang emergency services for help, that was last week ha ha. Apart from that just look after yourself always knowing your on holiday. Grin and bear it. Only here once I'm told. Couldn't fault the place, I tried but couldn't. Ps better than NHS food any day of the Milena. Keep up the good work. Pps if you don't agree don't read then.
Legends Hotel

We were relocated to this hotel from the nightmare of 'Amherst hotel'. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff were friendly. We saw a free drag show one evening in the bar downstairs. The only annoying thing was the room card keys kept not working which was so irritating. LGBT friendly.
Best Western Plus Citrus Hotel Eastbourne

Amazing location right by the beach so some rooms would be overlooking the promenade and coast. The rooms are tired and decoration needs to be updated although the reception areas look good. The beds and pillows were VERY comfy! Better than some travelodge, so a good night sleep. So if you can look past the poor paint, the £37 a night twin room will be a bargain. I would return at this price, but not more expensive. Its not the usual high quality or standard that I expected from Best Western chain. More a budget option. £7 is for a continental breakfast so this was declined. Tea and coffee in room was good. Late arrival but checking in was swift and very helpful. Free but limited overnight parking outside but you have to get a ticket (the hotel can do this for you for £2.25) from 8am so if you want a lie in, you need to book and pay when you check in.
My Brighton

Nice hotel in good location next to the Brighton Dome and short walk to The Lanes and the seafront. Our initial room wasn't great - v.small and some electrical issues and nowhere to work from with a laptop - the hotel was fully booked but the management kindly offered us an upgrade to the suite at a preferred rate which was gratefully accepted and went the extra mile to install a desk and chair which made things so much easier on our 5 night stay. Great coffee shop on the premises is a bonus. I get the feeling they were short staffed on the cleaning front, which i won't complain about as it seems to be a common problem across the UK. Overall a good comfortable stay and the suite was a good size with round bed, bath and walk in shower. A panoramic view provides plenty of light into the room. nice. Thank you
DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

The services were great. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the leisure facilities. They don’t rent a lock for the lockers in the changing room, but wasn’t a big deal. The free wifi did not work in my room. They tried to fix it but didn’t work. That didn’t ruin my stay anyways. My only little suggestion is that it would have been more convenient if there were some shelves or small stools in the bathroom. The bathroom was very spacious but there wasn’t much space to put your own stuff other than just on the floor.

Fantastic staff, especially Daniella, who couldn't do enough. Amazing buffet breakfast with a great choice. I'd recommend this hotel.
