MM430858****Absolutely loved this guesthouse! It was super clean with no strange odors. The front desk lady was incredibly nice; she even turned on the AC for us in advance, and gave us two bottles of water when we checked out 💗. The little cat was also adorable and very friendly! They offer a dedicated Disney shuttle service, so we were able to get to the park by 5 AM for our early entry pass. They even packed breakfast for us! After a long, tiring day at the park, the driver picking us up in the shuttle was such a comfortable relief! 💗

Originally, to facilitate my pet's medical treatment, I booked a newly opened Home Inn near Xinhua Hospital. However, the experience was truly awful – chaotic service, no parking, and the room wasn't ready even after an hour-long wait. Arriving past 8 PM, I still couldn't check in, so I reluctantly canceled the reservation.
Fortunately, I found Fraser Place Serviced Apartments at the last minute. Although a bit pricier, it exceeded all my expectations in every way:
✅ Convenient Location: Less than three kilometers from Xinhua Hospital, making it easy to get there by taxi or car.
✅ Pet-Friendly: Allows small dogs, which is fantastic for families traveling with pets.
✅ Free Parking: The hotel has its own parking lot, and you just register your license plate for free parking during your stay – very convenient.
✅ Well-Equipped: Rooms come with a washing machine, microwave, range hood, etc., making it suitable for both short and long stays, feeling just like home.
✅ Excellent Service: Even checking in after 10 PM, the front desk was quick to respond and professional, a world apart from my previous experience at Home Inn.
This experience truly made me realize that when choosing a hotel, you can't just look at proximity and how new it is; service and amenities are key. If you're also traveling with a pet for medical treatment or need a long-term stay, I highly recommend this place. Spending a little extra is worth the peace of mind and convenience.
Recommended for: Families with pets, medical escorts, medium to long-term stays, and self-driving travelers who need parking.

LLingmuxiThis time, I went on vacation to Chongming with a few friends and chose the Colorful Garden Terrace room at Dasu Holiday Villa (Chongming Dongtan Wetland Park)! It was truly amazing! I had to share it with everyone!
- Ambience: The spacious and bright space immediately puts you in a good mood. The decor is simple yet warm, with every detail perfectly thought out. The furniture is strategically arranged, creating a comfortable, non-crowded feel. But the most captivating aspect is the Colorful Garden. It's large and beautifully decorated, with a charming pavilion where you can soak up the sun, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy tea, and barbecue with friends. It's a truly relaxing experience. The garden is filled with a vibrant variety of flowers, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels like living here year-round. In this picturesque setting, I felt completely relaxed, both physically and mentally. And this place is pet-friendly! Really pet-friendly! Our four dogs had a blast running around in the grass, chasing each other as if all our worries were forgotten.
- Facilities: The room was fully equipped with everything, from the comfortable beds to the complete appliances. The hotel's thoughtful care was evident. Of course, my biggest favorite was the complete set of tableware and cookware, ensuring families with children could enjoy healthy meals during their stay! The beds were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and the toiletries were high-quality. The room also featured smart technology, including a smart toilet, which was incredibly convenient and comfortable (haha). The large garden terrace has a dedicated barbecue, perfect for hosting a barbecue party with friends. The hotel also offers free parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring worry-free transportation and internet access. Another point worth mentioning: Although the hotel is a villa, I was particularly pleased that there was only one parking space in the front yard, but it was enough for two SUVs! This was a very satisfying aspect for us.
- Service: From the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt response to all my requests throughout my stay, I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to recommend nearby attractions and help with minor issues. Their professionalism and enthusiasm really enriched our vacation.
- Nearby attractions: The villa is located near the Dongtan Wetland Park, a migratory bird sanctuary, where you can admire a variety of rare birds and experience the wonders of nature. A bicycle park and an ecological park are also nearby, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Basketball enthusiasts can also enjoy the Yao Ming training base. The Smart Island Park and the Lanhai Golf Course are also nearby, catering to diverse leisure and entertainment needs.
This stay at Dasu Hotel was a near-perfect experience. 💯 The pups had a blast playing with their best friends all day! The environment, facilities, and service are all impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone. Definitely visit if you have the chance!

GGuest UserWe went with eight people, including my parents, my sister's family, and my nephew, and it was the perfect place to stay. The view of the Oriental Pearl Tower was incredible. With three rooms and ample beds, I'm not sure you could find a better place to stay for a group of four or more in Shanghai. There were also two bathrooms, which made getting ready in the morning a breeze. We also had a crazy delivery party every night during our trip. My family was also very satisfied with the place. The host was also very quick to respond to messages on WeChat, which was really nice. 😍

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient! There's a free shuttle to the subway station, making it super easy to get to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the Bund, and People's Square. Plus, the Metro Line 2 Airport station is right there, so getting around is a breeze. There's a convenience store downstairs, and the room itself was clean and tidy with comfortable bedding. The air conditioning worked great, and there was plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were really welcoming and check-in was quick. Great value for money, perfect for tourists visiting Shanghai!

Positive : Location is great, walkable to many sights, metro, restaurants. Aldi supermarket over the road.
Good value.
Shower AND bath. Comfortable bed. Washing machine.
Major positive: They take animals. We brought our dog and no problem and no extra cost.
Grass area in front of hotel entrance for dogs to pee on.
Negatives : finding the place is a little tricky, but luckily when I rang the person who answered spoke English. You need to ask the guard to let you in the small gate at the address. Hotel is round the back.
No one on reception. Called again, then waited for some one to arrive. She took our Wechat, so after that communication was easy.
Dont expect a fully equipped kitchen. A few bowls, 1 knife, 1 spoon and 2 glasses. Had to ask for 2 teacups (tiny!) . Ok since we ate out all the time, but wish we'd bought big tea mugs from home!
We appreciated having a fridge.
I'd definitely stay again if I needed a dog friendly hotel downtown. Or even if I needed a hotel apartment for a while...if price was right.... and I'd bring a few kitchen items from home!! 🤣

The overall hygiene is okay, but there are water stains on the floor. The bathroom is relatively old, and there is a bit of odor in the room. The cost performance is not very high.
