"Our stay in Beijing was truly a 5-star experience for the three of us, even with a language barrier. Communication was never an issue because the hospitality felt sincere and thoughtful. One highlight we all loved was the free laundry service. "My recent trip to Beijing led me to choose Qianmen Street Hotel, and my experience completely exceeded expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing. The hotel's location is absolutely prime. GGuest UserWe were pleasantly surprised by the homely atmosphere upon arrival and were warmly greeted by the host (co-owner). We booked a room to accommodate 4 of us but realised upon arrival that it was a little too small to accommodate all of us. The host immediately gave us another adjoining room within the same chalet at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed, for example there were heat lamps above the shower stall so that one did not have to contend with the cold after a shower; and the bathroom lights were motion sensor activated so that one did not have to stumble around in the middle of the night. The place is well-kept and has excellent and personalised service. We were driven by the host to the Nanshan ski park and nearby places for dinner, and on the last day to the train station; all this at no extra cost. The in-house dinner was good and delicious and very reasonably priced. It is a cozy place for families to gather and engage in recreational activities. We were treated to a traditional tea session within the premises by the host, who was extremely gracious and warm. All the co-owners were also extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, making our short stay there a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you! We will return in the near future! :)

SShanguangdexiaomayiThe hotel is located in a secluded valley, perfect for those who love peace and quiet and want to escape the hustle and bustle. Here are the pros: 1. The breakfast is incredibly lavish, offering Tomahawk steaks and roasted lamb legs first thing in the morning – can you believe that? 2. The hot springs are free to use. 3. They gifted us an Indian oil massage treatment, valued at 1588. The Indian masseuses were pure professionals and their techniques were excellent. 4. The kids' club, sports facilities, and swimming pool are all exceptionally well-equipped. 5. Room service is very convenient, with a dedicated insulated box for delivery. 6. Our butler, Luna Zhang, was incredibly professional and attentive. She escorted us all the way to our room upon arrival and even to the basement elevator upon departure, demonstrating truly professional training! 7. The minibar is complimentary on the first day. The only con is a minor one: the hot and cold water taps operate in opposite directions (one turns left to open, the other turns right), which can be a bit confusing. Considering all of this, even though the room rate is close to 2000, which might seem a bit high (compared to places like Sunrise Oriental), when you factor in the oil massage and singing bowl therapy, don't you think it's an incredibly good value?

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, tucked away in a hutong with many attractions nearby. This nostalgic hotel is a trip down memory lane, filled with items that will bring back childhood memories for those born in the 80s. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, and the amenities provided are very comprehensive – they literally have everything you need, even foot soaking tubs and herbal sachets! The downsides are that the space is a bit small, the bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation, and the breakfast is quite limited. A special shout-out to the auntie who cooks the wontons and noodles, she's wonderful!

GGuest UserPrivate hot spring room experience (1 session): The facility was temporarily closed, so I couldn't use it. Instead, they offered a dinner at the Chinese restaurant, which had a good variety of dishes and was quite nice. Gubei Water Town tickets for four: These allowed free re-entry throughout our stay, which was very convenient. Unlimited shuttle service within Gubei Water Town: Extremely convenient and fast. Facilities: Some facilities need maintenance, and the shower system requires an upgrade. Hygiene: Overall good, quite clean. Environment: Located right in the heart of the Water Town, making it easy to get around. There's also an infinity pool for swimming and fitness. Service: Excellent.

MM56405****Absolutely fantastic! The two kids played in the room until midnight without any need for adult supervision. The moms just chatted and drank the whole time – it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is super close to the ancient town, only a five-minute walk. There are supermarkets downstairs and restaurants right outside the door, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is really nice and was quick to resolve any issues we had. Remember to bring some sausages when you go; there are lots of little cats downstairs waiting for you to feed them!

KkinggreyAn excellent hotel, and a fantastic travel experience! The Gubei Water Town Hotel is incredibly conveniently located. The hotel's main entrance is directly opposite the scenic area's main entrance, which means you avoid the noise of staying inside the scenic area while still enjoying great accessibility – it's just a 2-minute walk to get in. The hotel generously upgraded us to an executive room and thoughtfully sent up a birthday cake. The staff were enthusiastic and patient, and the front desk lady, dressed in Hanfu, was absolutely charming! The hotel is very quiet and comfortable. The swimming pool is noticeably larger than those in similar-tier hotels, and a morning swim really gets you energized. Special thanks to Amanda Zhao from the hotel's service team; from directions to the hotel, to the parking lot's location, and the thoughtful birthday cake, everything was perfectly arranged! If there's a minor drawback, it would be the 'hot spring package' included by the hotel. The hot springs aren't actually inside the hotel but deep within the scenic area. For a hot spring experience, the round trip is indeed quite inconvenient. I hope the hotel can find a way to improve this. However, this is a minor issue that doesn't detract from the overall experience. Gubei Water Town Hotel is an ideal leisure hotel. After enjoying the night views of the water town, a deep sleep nestled in the mountains will leave you completely refreshed!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a hutong, very close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station – less than a 4-minute walk away. It's also near popular attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. After visiting Jingshan Park, I encountered traffic restrictions, making taxis and buses inconvenient. I ended up cycling back to the hotel on a shared bike, which only took fifteen minutes. Cycling through the surrounding hutongs offers a unique charm. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clean, and the bedding is spotless. Crucially, facing the hutong means it's incredibly quiet, which is perfect for someone sensitive to noise like me. Plus, the hotel rooms have windows that can be opened for ventilation, which is a major plus. Many hotels in Beijing have sealed windows and rely on heating, making the air feel stuffy and stagnant. There are also many local eateries around the hotel, making it very convenient. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.

MM0005****The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

HhsgsvsvfOn the night of our check-in, my child wouldn't stop crying, so I called the front desk for help. Ms. Zeng answered my call and, hearing the anxiety and panic in my voice, immediately offered to bring a thermometer and some ice to our room. After hanging up, she personally delivered them, helped guide my child to take their temperature, and noticed the child wasn't feeling well. Ms. Zeng softly asked about the child's condition and offered to boil some warm water for us. She explained how to use the in-room kettle and reminded me to contact the front desk anytime if the child felt unwell. Her tone was gentle throughout, and her actions were swift and efficient. The next day, I called the front desk again as my child was still feeling a bit unwell and I didn't know where the nearest pharmacy was. Ms. Zeng patiently gave me directions to the closest pharmacy and, considering it would be difficult for me with a child, suggested I could **have the medicine delivered to the hotel, and she would personally bring it up to our room.** Ms. Zeng was proactive and thoughtful: she immediately noticed my anxiety and panic and offered her assistance. Detailed care, perfectly delivered: She paid attention to my young child's condition, providing a thermometer and ice, solving a real problem. Efficient response, problem-solving: Faced with a guest's sudden need, she didn't shirk or delay but proactively brought delivered medicine to the room, truly easing our worries. Approachable attitude, professional demeanor: She provided service with a smile throughout, used appropriate language, and was patient and meticulous, making me, a tired traveler, feel reassured and respected.
