GGuest UserThe hotel was clean and offered great value for money. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it's a good place to stay if you're visiting Hallstatt, and it's also very convenient for exploring the lake district. We actually had a lot of trouble figuring out transportation to Hallstatt initially, going out of our way unnecessarily. Turns out, there's a train station just about 500 meters from the hotel, which offers easy access to many places. This station also doubles as a bus stop. You can take the 542, then transfer to the 543 or 541/544 to reach Hallstatt or Gosau. The train and bus schedules are seamlessly connected, making it super convenient. We wish we had known this earlier, as the transportation issues caused us a lot of stress. I'd suggest the hotel create a Chinese transportation guide to help future guests avoid similar travel difficulties.
YyeeqinghewThe view from the room was absolutely stunning and easily the highlight of our stay. We were given two rooms, which made the stay very comfortable for our group of 3. The shower had great water pressure and was honestly one of the best we experienced during our trip.
If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Gosau, this hotel offers great value for money. There’s also a sauna and fitness room available. One thing to note is that the sauna follows the traditional Austrian style, where guests are expected to use it nude.
The bathroom layout was a little unusual, with the toilet and shower located in separate areas, which felt slightly inconvenient at times.
As for the breakfast, there weren’t many options. We also tried the hotel’s dinner buffet (€29 per person), and it was quite decent.
LLaw_1The room was quite ordinary and simple, without anything particularly special or luxurious. However, it was clean and generally well maintained, which made the stay comfortable enough. The bed was fine, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient for our needs.
Housekeeping did a decent job, and overall cleanliness was acceptable throughout the stay. While the room design and facilities were fairly basic, it served its purpose well, especially for resting after a long day outside.
Overall, it was a reasonably comfortable stay. Nothing impressive, but nothing to complain about either. The cleanliness was the main positive point, and the room met our expectations for a standard stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.
GGuest UserThe hotel was easy to find. My room wasn't in the main building, so it was a short walk, but a staff member helped me with directions and my luggage. The lake view from the room was exactly as pictured. The room also had a bathtub, and the toiletries were L'Occitane. The breakfast restaurant is in the main building and offers partial sea views.
JJackie This is an unforgettable resort, like being in a fairyland, with a lake next to it. The resort has many children's play facilities, which is very suitable for the whole family to play. On the other side of the river is Hatshepsut, the most beautiful town in the world. We stayed in a log cabin, which is rare for Asians like me to stay in. It was very romantic and dreamy here, and I didn't even want to leave. There is a small convenience store attached to the resort, which has a lot of food. The rooms have a full set of kitchen utensils and microwaves. After buying food in the store, you can go back to the holiday home and cook it. You don't have to worry about having nothing to eat. The bus stop to Hasutat is right in front of the resort. Accommodation here is twice as cheap as on the Hasselt side. After staying for the first night, I really wanted to stay one more day the next day, but unfortunately the hotel was full. The beautiful lady also gave me a free breakfast, which was the best breakfast I had during my trip. When checking out, the lady kindly asked me what I thought of the resort. I said I really wanted to stay for one more day, and the computer immediately checked for me again, but unfortunately there were no rooms available, so I had to leave and go to Hacienda to stay for one more day. I hope I can come back to this beautiful town next time and stay a few more days.
AAnonymous UserDisappointing stay at this hotel.
1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees.
As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise.
2. Paid room tax by cash upon arrival and requested receipt for expenses and was advised i would receive this at checkout. So at checkout I was then advised the hotel had emailed the receipt to me and as you can guess I never received.
Front desk then advised it was being resent and likewise never received.
To the manager...I will ensure a return visit to your hotel in the coming weeks and expect you to refund my 4.50 Euros!
BBurçin ŞaltThe location, cleanliness, and hotel are excellent. The girl at the reception was very helpful and attentive. If I come again, this will be the only hotel I'll stay at.
