"Nice modern building with modern, small rooms. Air conditioning works well and is still quiet but outdoors are all generators and it is a very noisy brush. The rooms are very bright.
The bed is super but the bed layer always slips off because it is only loose on it.
The beach is right in front of it. That's super!
The pool is very small and is negligible. Breakfast is very good and versatile. Nice staff!
The hotel is not sensitive to noise.

Guest UserWe had a nice stay at this property. The location is excellent, there’s a McDonald’s right next door and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast is very good. Smart TV is also very good which has YouTube, as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime already signed in. The room is small but functional, plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was okay, although there were lots of small insects in there. Overall for the price it was excellent.

A beautiful, if a little basic room perfectly in sync with the islands esthetics. Nice team that had their struggle with us not speaking much Portuguese but together we made it work. They were very patient with us and helpful. The location is close to a supermarket and in relative proximity to the village center. To the next beaches it is a bit, but to Praia do Conceciao it is walkable. Or just take the taxis here.

Well-located hotel, close to the airport, facing the Boa Viagem waterfront, clean facilities, pleasant pool area, fully equipped gym, polite and helpful staff, as well as a wonderful breakfast full of options for all tastes. I recommend it.

O Mar Hotel faz jus ao preço que cobra. Sem dúvidas é uma das melhores acomodações que você vai encontrar no Recife.
Acredito que também tenha o melhor café da manhã e os melhores serviços.
Para quem está chegando ou saindo do aeroporto, ele também é bem rápido de chegar e sair.
O único ponto negativo que vejo foi an internet, que poderia ser um pouco mais rápida e com melhor sinal.

The room hygiene is the best I have traveled to Brazil so far, the dinner is very good, the price is reasonable, and the music is very pleasant.
When I finally left the hotel, the hotel said that the airport was free, but the driver had to give me money. I didn't have change at the time and didn't give it. He was very unhappy. I hope to talk to the taxi company in the future to avoid misunderstanding.

I stayed here for the rest of the night after my 3am flight arrival in REC, almost as close as an airport hotel but much nicer! 24h check-in, very nice breakfast buffet 6-10 am (included in room rate), and a wonderful sea view (sun rise!) were perfect. Room, bathroom were very good value for money.

The hotel is well located, but in four nights, the sheets were never changed. The towels were changed daily, and the room was cleaned daily, but the sheets were never changed. There was a stain on the sheet that I found every night when I went to bed. There was also a lack of professionalism from some of the breakfast staff.

Lorne M.For the low price of the hotel, and given the great location for exploring historical Recife, this hotel is not bad. It's old, and it looks like maintenance is not a priority. Really the only thing I didn't like was the bed was saggy. Breakfast was OK.
