Good place for those fly early of morning or arrival at night time.
I took evening fly to Kualanamu, lucky to check in this hotel, rather than direct to the town to stay
The hotel staff is nice and polite. Check in was fast. Breakfast is normal. The location is near to shopping centre. By grabs, it takes abt 1 hour frm airport.
However, the room need to be renovated as quite old. Not the usual jw mariott standard.
I had a very pleasant stay at Aryaduta Medan. The hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, providing a relaxing place to rest. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it easy to access shopping areas and local attractions. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of local and international dishes. Overall, Aryaduta Medan delivers great value and a comfortable stay. I would gladly return again.
Adimulia Hotel Medan offers a refined and comfortable stay in the heart of the city. The hotel stands out with its elegant architecture and grand lobby, creating a luxurious first impression. Rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern furnishings, comfortable bedding, and excellent city views.
The service is one of its strongest points—staff are professional, attentive, and consistently helpful, ensuring guests feel welcomed throughout their stay. The breakfast selection is extensive, featuring a variety of Indonesian and international dishes, all well-prepared and flavorful.
Location is super nice (near Selat Panjang and Jalan Semarang, culinary areas). But unfortunately they didn’t maintain the room and gym very well. Room was clean, but one of our windows leaked rainwater (the seal isn’t good anymore).
I booked an upgraded room, but the room was old and falling apart. There were ants crawling on me in the bed, no hot water, breakfast was cold. The AC would not get cold, so we were very hot over night. The bathroom had someone’s eyelashes in there, so it made me think that the cleaners are not doing a good job. Overall, the hotel was not worth the cost.
This is truly very central location, close to train station, 2 minutes walking from train station to and from airport, good wifi, good breakfast mostly caters to locals but decent breakfast, room number 209 has windows but looking at wall and to a/c no city or any view, just a wall and a/c I would recommend and repeat myself
This was my 6th nights stay with separate subsequent bookings due to unknown situation of our mum's conditions who was in nearby hospital. Everything of this hotel was good and convenient, especially the staffs. Not using the other facilities in the hotel at all apart from sleeping and breakfast.
This lakefront hotel is the only 5 star hotel in Samosir. It's new, about 2 years old. Its location is strategic, about 9 minutes drive from Ambarita ferry terminal, where ferries from Parapat dock. The room is not big but clean and functional. The shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion smell really good, like one of those essential oils. The hotel also has a jetty for watersports like jetski, katamaran, canoe, and yacht. The buffet breakfast has lots of varieties. There are even bittergourd juice and other types of traditional herbal drinks.
This hotel is like 5 star , check in fast , the staff service so good. The room clean and new because just renovation , beside this hotel has fast food kfc. Recomended to stay

AAnonymous UserVery nice hotel. Rooftop pool with superb view of the Medan City. In a nice area with plenty of popular restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast have a good variety of local dishes to try. Just the waiting time for checkin and checkout is a little bit long. But undoubtedly will stay here again.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is relatively new, and the room size and layout are excellent. The staff also provide good service. However, on the second day after it rained, the cold water was very dirty, although the hot water was fine.
The location is right next to the train station, but if you walk from the station to the hotel, even though it's not far, the road isn't very pedestrian-friendly (there are barely any sidewalks, and lots of motorbikes).

ZZetyZalefaWe are happy!!!!! The staff so kind and soft spoken.. we love the view… Masha Allah.. so beautifull.. event we stay at standard room, we also can get the beatiful view of Danau Toba.. the breakfast was delicious.. this is the first time im going to Indonesia and i can eat all the food.. excellent.. i also like the tour package for free…keep it up..next time if i going to danau toba again, i will stay at waterfall inside Taman Simalem Resort..in Shaa Allah
TTrip.com local guidesThe service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.
GGuest UserWonderful upscale hotel in Dolok Sanggul clearly catering to foreign tourists. It's an impressive place visually from the outside, with a roomy, partially open-air dining/restaurant area making full use of the beautifully mild climate of the mountainous area south of Lake Toba. Breakfast is served starting at 7am and the restaurant appears to be open all day, though service stops at 10pm except for room-service beverage requests. Beverages are primarily juices, teas and coffees, though beer is also an option (Bintang). Food options are a mix of Batak/Indonesia, Chinese and Western-style. Most of the Western options were either steaks or pasta, and they were out of the steak. Unfortunately, I ended up with food poisoning later that night but I don't think it's fair to ding them for that.
The room was very comfortable. An armoire for hanging clothes as well as another hanging rack. Complimentary towel and room slippers. Television had several HBO channels as well as more local programming, perhaps 12-15 stations total to choose from.
The bathroom is definitely oriented towards tourists. Some basic toiletries like toothbrush/toothpaste. Western-style flush toilet with both toilet paper and the traditional butt-gun water hose. Shower gave good hot water although controls were very touchy. There was a hand/body soap dispenser in the shower but no bar soaps in the bathroom or shampoo. There were no signs indicating you shouldn't drink the tap water but, it's Indonesia and you should never drink the tap water if you're a tourist. Two small bottles of water were in the room along with a coffee-maker.
Definitely a great option if you're in the area.
