The main reason I booked this hotel was because it is part of an international hotel chain and is rated as a 4-star property. However, I was very surprised by the building condition and the quality of the renovations.
What made this even more disappointing is that the hotel has been open for less than a year. Given that it is a newly opened property, I expected everything to be in excellent condition. Instead, I felt that the hotel was not fully completed and may have been opened in a rush. There were still many areas that appeared unfinished and in need of touch-ups and further renovation work.
Another issue was the shower’s hot water supply, which was very unstable. Even after setting the temperature to a comfortable level, the water would frequently fluctuate between hot and cold without warning. At times, it became unexpectedly too hot or too cold, making the shower experience quite unpleasant.
Overall, my stay was disappointing. The hotel’s condition and facilities did not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star international hotel, especially one that has been operating for less than a year.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. It's a 5-minute walk to the Catholic Church and Kaisar Supermarket. The famous Ah Xiang Coffee Shop is also within walking distance.

The price is very reasonable, even quite affordable considering the room is very nice, modern, and clean. It was very comfortable to sleep here, especially because the air conditioning was cold and worked well. The amenities were complete, and we were also allowed a late check-out until 1 pm. Free parking is available for guests, and the service was good.
The only minor downside was that the water pressure in the bathroom was not very strong. Other than that, it was a nice experience. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Pontianak.
I was booked for 2 rooms and got connecting room when check-in. The room was amazing and clean. I had impressed with hospitality of frontline staff. This hotel very strategic in heart of Pontianak city. Off course the local culinary of Pontianak was the reason we booked of. Thanks Harris Pontianak and we wish back on our next visit.
When the first day took the leak of the air conditioner suddenly the air conditioner was not cold, but immediately changed the room and ************* very satisfied clean cold and good service as well as the receptionist
This hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of the city center's main shopping areas. The rooms are clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the staff are professional and responsive. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and overall, the stay was very pleasant. The only minor downsides were the average soundproofing and slow elevators during peak hours. Overall, it's very suitable for business trips.
worth every penny for a short stay during vacation and walking distance to get food around.. also nice rooftop bars where you can chill and listen to live performance.
A great stay. Breakfast is variety. Can get access to e hailing. Very close to shopping mall also pasar. Also very near to universities. There's a small kiosk that sells local products n including handicrafts. Worth the stay.
Over all is a nice place to stay, great location. But we were there during G floor renovation. Also, pls consider air cooling for outdoor restaurants (with the live band) because the weather is extremely hot nowadays

AAnonymous UserThe only complaint I have about the hotel is the wifi. My room was at level 5 and I thought the reason it's slow was probably due to the room distance from the router. Then I asked to change room and they gave me 1 at level 6 which is very near to the router. And no, the wifi is still terrible and almost non-existence. It is connected to the wifi but there was no internet connection.

Ddee556We are repeating customer to this hotel. We like the location, food and the staffs are very friendly and attentive to the customer.
We like to suggest the management to look into the minor lacking of maintenance on the rooms. Also the amnesties such as towel need to replace.
The food are good but a bit too salty. The coffee are so nice...
AAustrian_saverBe careful! if you don't want to listen to a night club daily until 2am, feel the base vibrations through the walls and bed (earplugs don't help), smell the strong ciragettes aroma, listen to the elevator tune in the lobby as the are no sound insulation what so ever. Listen to the street noise.
Better avoid staying in this hotel.
Cleanliness were OK for an Indonesian establishment.
P.S.
When checked in, we were placed into a tiny room without windows on the 3rd floor.
As I've seen from other travellers, it could be tactics used to upsell for a more expensive room.
We had specifically selected a non smoking and quiet room while booking.
The room STANK of ciragettes! And loud music could be heard after 8pm, so the reception gave a different room quickly, only mentioning it should be a paid for upgrade.
LliuzhilongThe man on frontdesk so low attitude , and mood swing , haven't a good hospitality ; the room is large but a little old , the hotel located in central of the city ; near with coffee street , ”Ligo” supermarket walking around 10 minutes, and flamboyan traditional market nearest by walking 5 minutes 😊 overall the breakfast so good simple but complete •
