Hotels With Breakfast in Aichi Prefecture, Japan

Area near to station and nearby got few nice restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. There parking lots nearby also but expensive if parked whole night till morning.. There is a simple Japanese sake cafe with simple Japanese home cooked to go along with sake/beer or wines (just diagonal across the hotel as per hotel) open by Japanese owner and a ********* staff working inside. Friendly and home feel with many other Japanese inside..

This hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level.

This hotel is, in my opinion, the best value for money I found in Nagoya. It has a separate wet and dry bathroom, but doesn't provide bottled water or a humidifier. The air conditioning is centrally controlled. I'd read that stays of four nights or more would get daily cleaning, but in reality, it's now only once every three days. You have to leave your trash and used towels outside the door daily. Out of my five-night stay, on four of those days, they took away dirty towels but didn't provide fresh ones or new toothbrushes. As for cleanliness, it's acceptable; the areas you can see are clean. The location is quite convenient, less than a 10-minute walk from the Chunichi Building and Sakae Station. If you don't want to use the stairs, you can exit from Exit 13 and walk straight to the Chunichi Building, which has escalators and elevators.

Check in and out was easy and automated with the machine at counter. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, able to speak english to a good extent Environment was warm and welcoming, rooms were comfortable. Maybe the breakfast could be better. Daily selection of one sandwich, either the fix katsu sandwich or the other bread, sometimes hotdog, sometimes plain bread with soup. Drinks were very limited .didn't felt like going down for breakfast after the first 3 days Washing machines were the winner, you can even watch the availability from room tv . Overall is very good would stay again if I'm travelling there

Location is excellent. Near metro and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. Only downside is its in the adult entertainment area. But the ladies carrying the advertisements left the tourists alone. Other than that you would not notice you are in an adult entertainment area

The Nikko Style Nagoya is a truly wonderful hotel. The moment you walk into the lobby feels modern, warm and cosy. It is not your typical hotel in Japan. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable and clean, although the bed is a little too firm for me. The buffet breakfast has a good variety, with plenty of local specialties. There is a choice of main course and I highly recommend the Japanese fish option. My only negative comment is that my used plates were not cleared quickly enough, despite the waiter walking past my table a couple of times. The location is about 12 minutes away on foot from Nagoya Stain and 20 minutes on foot from the Sakae shopping area, but there are plenty of interesting small restaurants close by. The price I paid was reasonable for the product and service offered. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The entire hotel relies on air conditioning for ventilation, as windows cannot be opened. The double room was small, just barely adequate. However, the surrounding area offers excellent accessibility. It's about a 10-minute walk to Muji and the famous HARBS cake shop (the original, historically significant branch). Popular restaurants like Gyoza no Ohsho, Umahachi, and Chen Mapo Tofu (Matsuzakaya store) are only about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is located between Sakae and Fushimi stations. We usually opted to take the subway one stop from Fushimi to Nagoya Station for shopping at Takashimaya (which houses the renowned Din Tai Fung on its upper floors). Getting to the airport was also convenient, involving a subway transfer to an express train. So, the hotel's location is indeed exceptionally convenient, with easy walking access to shopping centers like Mitsukoshi. During our four-day stay, we noticed a high number of Korean and ********* tour groups, which made it quite noisy. Therefore, it might not be suitable for guests who prefer a quiet environment or wish to enjoy hotel amenities. However, this type of budget hotel is very popular, with its affordable price being its biggest advantage.

Excellent hotel with enough space for a single person to do everything, and the public bath felt great, though it's a little inconvenient as it's a 1-2min walk away from the hotel The area of the hotel can be a little shady at night.

This was my first time staying at this hotel in Nagoya, and I have to admit, the room was really small, even for one person it felt cramped. Luckily, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the business district with Mitsukoshi and Matsuzakaya department stores nearby, which is super convenient for shopping. The hotel breakfast was decent, but the famed unagi don (eel rice bowl) never made an appearance. Also, when I went for breakfast on the second floor in the morning, there was no one at the restaurant entrance. I just stood there with my meal ticket, feeling a bit silly. After waiting for a while, I couldn't hold back and said, ”Is anyone here?” That's when a male staff member, who I believe was Southeast Asian, peeked out from a room next to the reception desk. He only stood up after seeing the meal ticket in my hand, and then I was finally able to enter the restaurant. I hope the hotel strengthens its staff's service awareness, especially the training for foreign employees. Only then can they attract more guests amidst fierce market competition.

This is my second stay at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, the last one being in Tokyo. The hotel chain consistently offers great service. This particular hotel is very close to Nagoya subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. There's an underground shopping area right below where you can eat and shop, and a 7-Eleven across the street for breakfast or snacks. Within about a 5-minute walk, you'll also find popular eateries like Sekai no Yamachan, Isomaru Suisan, and Torikizoku, which is very convenient.
