A great location for visiting around the city - several subway stations are within a few minutes walk in different directions and some attractions like the science museum and Central Park shopping area are close enough to walk as well. The room size was decent for Japan with a nice chair and desk with refrigerator and big tv in the room and enough space for luggage and to walk around the bed. The amenities and snacks provided in the lobby were very convenient and there are several convenience stores nearby. The breakfast buffet had many choices and the main dishes changed every day of our three day stay but I would say it was more Japanese dishes than western. The staff were very friendly and spoke English and the WiFi was ok although a little slow at times. I think this was a great value and location and would recommend it and stay again next time I come to Nagoya.

Location is 5 mins walk from Nagoya main station if you're coming from another city. Easy access to bus, subway and to inner city (Sakae). Guest rooms are on 18 floor+ so you can expect a good view from the room. Amenities are not in the room so you need to pick it up from lobby. I don't know what happened but I've got no conpliment water on the first 2 nights and got it on the 3rd. The blanket and pillow is superb, Mitsui standard.

Breakfast was terrible. There was no sign in Building 2 indicating that luggage couldn't be stored there, so I had to walk back to Building 1 to store my bags, where there was a free self-service storage area. The building is huge, and if your room is far from the elevator, you'll have a long walk. There are no proper restaurants near the hotel, only two convenience stores, it seems. The good news is it's very close to the airport and Aichi Sky Expo, about a 10-minute walk to each. I highly recommend it for overnight layovers or for those attending events at the expo. The hotel strictly enforces the 3 PM check-in time; they might let you in a few minutes early, but not more than ten. Despite being near the airport, it's quieter than I expected, though the room windows don't open.

This is a fantastic airport hotel! It's super convenient, located right across from the Meitetsu Line subway station hall, which connects directly to the terminal building. Perfect for those arriving in the afternoon or departing early in the morning. What's even better is how spacious the rooms are, and they all have large windows. Some room types even offer views of Ise Bay, which is stunning and expansive. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous too. Plus, there are plenty of comfortable lounge areas in the lobby on the first floor. It's all very thoughtful and relaxing.

A non-wheelchair user had parked their car in the wheelchair accessible parking lot and was having trouble, so a staff member guided them to a different spot. It seems that the person who had parked in the wheelchair accessible parking lot was also asked to move, but apparently said they couldn't because they had been drinking.

The location is near the exit of the Sakura-dori side. Look for 大名古屋 Da Nagoya and walk about 5 to 10 mins to the hotel. The hotel is along the food street where there are a lot of food options till late. The hotel room is relatively spacious by Japanese standards. Entry to the toilet is flat so you don't have to climb up to go to the toilet. The bed and pillows are comfortable. There is a water dispenser just outside the lift. The price is very reasonable as compared to Tokyo. We like Nagoya as it is a more relaxing city compared to Tokyo. Uber is not expensive so we took a taxi if we were tired. The only drawback is the cleaning service is only after the 3rd night and we are staying for 4 nights. So the rubbish tends to accumulate. Hope this will improve. I highly recommend this hotel.

About a ten-minute walk from Nagoya Station, which is quite convenient. The room was just right, though the bathroom was a tiny bit small. There's a FamilyMart nearby, but when I went later in the day, all the large bottles of water were gone! They have self-service luggage storage, which is super handy. The front desk staff were really friendly and helped me send a package, which solved a problem for me. There's a QR code you can scan to arrange luggage transfer between two hotels, or you can ask the front desk for a shipping label to send parcels to other addresses. I also discovered a super delicious Vietnamese restaurant nearby!

GGuest UserThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

AAnonymous UserI came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

GGuest UserThis was my first solo trip abroad, and I chose to experience 9hours in Japan. Overall, the environment and hygiene were much better than I expected. It's also conveniently located close to the JR station. The only downside is that the soundproofing inside the capsules isn't great, so you can hear snoring.

GGuest UserStandard business hotel. Good value, clean enough, but small rooms. Some of the staff spoke passable English, but not all. Had free breakfast which was decent quality but not too much in terms of variety. Good location in that is is walking distance to a few attractions and stations. Questionable location in that it is at the edge of a red light district. If you go out at night, you will be harassed by touts.

AAnonymous UserWhenever I travel to and from Central Japan International Airport, I always stay here. It's close to the station, offers a free breakfast with a good variety, and even has complimentary welcome drinks after noon. It's my preferred hotel near the station, less than a 10-minute walk away. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserI recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya Hotel, and I want to highlight some exceptional service that made our visit memorable. Thoughtful Amenities The welcome ice cream for my sons was a delightful surprise. It was a thoughtful gesture that made them feel special and added to our overall positive experience. Duty Manager Mr. Andei Ho One standout moment of our visit was when Mr. Andei Ho, the Duty Manager, came to assist us during one of our evenings at the hotel. Being a Hongkonger himself, he made us feel right at home. When we returned from a day out and needed to store some belongings at the concierge, Mr. Andei approached us and warmly communicated in Cantonese. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly made us feel welcomed. Proactive Assistance After our check-out, Mr. Andei noticed us trying to call an Uber in the lobby and proactively offered to help by calling a taxi instead. Given that we had too much luggage, he went above and beyond by marking the pick-up and drop-off locations for us at the Airport Express Station, ensuring a smooth departure. One day, he saw us waiting outside for a taxi and proactively asked a colleague to come over and see if we needed help calling a taxi. Housekeeping I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for their outstanding work. They kept our room impeccably clean and tidy throughout our stay, greatly contributing to our comfort. Summary In summary, my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya was fantastic, thanks to the outstanding service from Mr. Andei Ho and the entire staff, including the diligent housekeeping team. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!

GGuest UserThis was my second stay here, so I was already familiar with the place. It's about a 10-minute walk from Sakae Station. The room, though small, was very cozy, and the front desk staff were great; they even helped me book a taxi. It's within walking distance of the Science Museum, Osu, and Matsuzakaya. The Ichiran Ramen next door still had a line at over 9 PM, so I went in the morning, which was super convenient.

Aaw116hkgThe Nikko Style Nagoya is a truly wonderful hotel. The moment you walk into the lobby feels modern, warm and cosy. It is not your typical hotel in Japan. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. The staff at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, comfortable and clean, although the bed is a little too firm for me. The buffet breakfast has a good variety, with plenty of local specialties. There is a choice of main course and I highly recommend the Japanese fish option. My only negative comment is that my used plates were not cleared quickly enough, despite the waiter walking past my table a couple of times. The location is about 12 minutes away on foot from Nagoya Stain and 20 minutes on foot from the Sakae shopping area, but there are plenty of interesting small restaurants close by. The price I paid was reasonable for the product and service offered. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
