If you're visiting KT for the food and shopping, you can't beat this spot. It’s within walking distance to KTCC Mall and Mayang Mall, and the Drawbridge (Jambatan Angkat) is just a short drive away. We stayed in a Superior Deluxe room which was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast at the rooftop café was a highlight—not just for the local flavors, but for the stunning view of the coast. While the décor is a bit dated (the carpets have seen better days), the staff's friendliness and the high water pressure in the shower made up for it. Great value for money if you're looking for a base to explore the city

The Perhentian Islands in Malaysia are a true paradise, easily earning the title of the 'Malaysian Maldives.' I chose the Perhentian Island Resort, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel is located on the main Perhentian island, right on the edge of a lagoon with crystal-clear turquoise waters. Nearby, there's a picturesque coral reef and a pristine white sand beach adorned with palm trees, reminiscent of exotic 'Bounty' advertisements. Guests are offered secluded bungalows with terraces, most of which boast panoramic sea views. The hotel grounds feature a well-maintained swimming pool and a tennis court. Despite their simplicity, the rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfasts cater to a wide range of tastes and national preferences, offering fresh and delicious dishes. The hotel is also home to a variety of wildlife: you can spot squirrels, monitor lizards, newts, frogs, and bats. But the real treat was observing a family of spectacled langurs, who seemed to be enjoying their vacation in this natural haven too! The very next day after arriving, I went on a snorkeling tour, which allowed me to see the island from different angles, including other hotels and beaches inaccessible from the shore. Subsequent walks around the island, exploring its jungle, checking out other accommodations, and even visiting a neighboring islet, firmly convinced me that choosing Perhentian Island Resort was the right decision. The beach, the prevailing peace and quiet, and the comfortable atmosphere—it's pure bliss! I will definitely be back!

One night sleeping at Hotel grand Continental Terengganu hotel in the morning I’m walking to the lift bridge take a few photos and then having breakfast everyone can walk from the hotel even though it's a little sweaty back to the hotel on foot you can also use Grab or taxi but this time we choose to walk it's a fun experience

Great location! It's within walking distance to Chinatown and nearby shopping malls. The staff are very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast is an optional extra. Overall, a pleasant environment.

Had a great stay at Suite 18 Kuala Terengganu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a nice modern design. Location is convenient and close to food spots and attractions. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a good value stay—would come back again!

The room and overall environment were beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable. However, during my stay, I experienced several issues with the water supply in the bathroom. The problem happened multiple times, and I had to contact the maintenance staff more than five times. There were even some misunderstandings and discussions regarding fixing the issue and changing rooms. Thankfully, the staff managed the situation professionally in the end and provided complimentary breakfast as compensation, which I truly appreciated. Despite the inconvenience, I still enjoyed my stay because the hotel itself is truly beautiful and relaxing. I would definitely come back again in the future, hoping for an even better experience next time!

The hotel is very close to Kuala Terengganu Airport, about a fifteen-minute walk. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful. Definitely recommended!

Ok for 1 night stay. Bedroom is small around 25meter. Toilet is ok and can be better in cleaning. Parking is behind the hotel. The drawbridge is visible from the window. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The price of this room is affordable too.

Pros: Beach is awesome, clean & windy. Swimming pool is big for whole family and clean Cons: Check in was not smooth as our rooms were separated at different floor. The hotel see us as a separate booking from Trip.com even though it was done in a single booking. Please improve this as I can’t book multiple rooms under one name in Trip.com. Water in the room will turn yellow at 7pm. We have to wait more than an hour for it to be normal Face towel not provided, we were informed it is only applicable to ‘certain’ rooms. r

Good location. But as you see in the picture, the toilet is not clean. Stains on the wall shows that it was not clean properly for a long time.
