The staff are incredibly friendly, and the facilities are comfortable and beautiful. The room also features many thoughtful touches, such as daily complimentary bottled water, a coffee machine, and various teas. While it's not directly on the beach, their shuttle service is excellent, and the drivers are also very friendly. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and very extensive. It's a great hotel to relax and unwind. We absolutely loved it!

Just got back from a fantastic stay at the Aroeira Lisbon Hotel - Sea & Golf, and honestly, we had a blast! 😊 What really made our stay special was the people. The staff here are seriously amazing; genuinely friendly, warm, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. I need to give a massive thank you to everyone: Front Desk Crew: You guys were superstars, always helpful and smiling. Seriously, everyone we met was lovely. The Drivers: So helpful getting us to the beach and shops. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations and happy conversations. My son and daughter really loved you guys. Kitchen and Restaurant Team:The food was great, and the hospitality was top-notch. It felt like everyone, no matter their role, was happy to help with anything we needed. Need info? Done. Extra towels? Here you are. Special kid meal delivered in the night? No problem. Just a friendly chat? Absolutely! Plus, the amenities are awesome!We tried to take advantage of as much as we could (that pool! the grounds! the beach nearby!), and it was all super easy to access. Honestly, it was just a really smooth, fun, and welcoming experience from start to finish. Big thumbs up from the whole family, especially the kids! Drove 600kms from Malaga to stay here whilst doing some business in the locale, which was very quiet, like an ex-workers community... so wasn't anticipating or expecting anything 5* I'm sure they did their best but being told no soap is available, although toiletries are listed as free, and to use the pump dispensers, even when the bidet is too far to operate a pump in situ, and to have suggested to fill a cup with liquid soap first....really?? Both the bidet and bath plug leaked, the extractor fan wasn't operating and also the fridge was missing the door shelf retainers, not helpful!! I realise my off-season stay was in February, but I asked if there was room service but was told no, and yet they advertise it?? therefore it would be very welcoming if the coffea/hot drink machine was available for a reasonable time during the day and evening, not just at breakfast and evening meal If that wasn't possible, then for £70 per night I would have appreciated a small travel kettle in my room, as I was happy to supply milk, tea and coffee, but hey ho Probably wouldn't recommend this place or stay here again, staff looked bored during meal service and honestly couldn't blame them, maybe some music, ever?

Everything was great, except for the doors which are quite thin (you can hear everything from every room). This wouldn't be ideal for families with children, even though the family room offers good comfort.

Stayed at upon vila for 4 nights. First impressions were very good starting with the location which faces the Targus river and a short drive to several restaurants on the sea front. My room was quite big and had several seats and a table and 2 chairs on the balcony. A complimentary bottle of water and some cookies were also waiting in my room. Breakfast times were from 8am - 11am which is great for late risers. First impressions on breakfast was disappointing. They had a few cereals limited fruit and pastries. They only had eggs and bacon for the cooked breakfast and on another day mushrooms. Also the same items were served over the 4 days. It would have been better to vary the menu each day. Overall a pleasant stay but disappointed with breakfast choices.

The hotel has sea views, but it's not first-line, located high up in the distance. The staff were generally very friendly. The superior room is small, as is the bathroom, but adequate. The minibar is super quiet; the toilet hose's pressure was a bit out of control. The sound insulation to the hallway and outside isn't the best, but it's not too bad either. I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The spa and pool are tiny; they control capacity with advance reservations, and small children are only allowed in the morning. The gym has a few machines, enough to work the major muscle groups. Breakfast is varied; in my opinion, it lacks the typical Alentejo bread. On the first day, the scrambled eggs looked very dry, but by the second day, they were already good. I think it's rude for the staff to start rushing around 10 a.m., clearing tables, restricting access to only part of the buffet, and then starting cleaning and not restocking. It was a pleasant stay.

It is always so good to be back. Even on a winter day, the hotel makes you feel comfortable. Relaxing landscape in a very large room, with an excellent bed. Water and chocolates are provided as courtesy. The balcony seems to put you inside the countryside, breath in breath out, and take all the fresh air you can. You can even take a bath while you enjoy the view. Breakfast is sublime. Freshly baked eggs on demand, coffee bar with hand made beverages, pastry and fresh fruit with several local items available. All of this while you glance at the infinite pool. You can even have breakfast outside, if it is not to cold.

Everything was great! The dinner was lovely, and breakfast was superb. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, was very pleasant. It was an experience I'd definitely repeat. Thank you very much!

The indoor pool was supposedly ”heated” but the surroundings were cold and the water was cold. After the first night, rain started leaking into our room. We contacted the reception, and they moved us to a different room. To get towels for the pool, they charge a €25 deposit per towel, which I think is ridiculous. There were three of us, so we had to leave a €75 deposit for some towels.
