We were there during the Christmas holidays, and Miami hotels were ridiculously expensive. Orlando was a much better option, and this hotel was only a little over a hundred dollars, which was a really fair price. The location is quite convenient; right outside, there's a gas station, a convenience store, and even the world's largest McDonald's. Within a ten-minute walk, you'll find a large supermarket, a car rental pickup point, various restaurants, and a Chinese buffet. The facilities are also pretty comprehensive, including a free shuttle service to and from Universal Studios. The room itself was definitely a bit dated, but the front desk staff member who checked us in was super helpful. We got a second-floor room facing the inner courtyard, which was very quiet and had no musty smell. (However, I imagine rooms facing the road might be quite noisy, so it's probably best to avoid those if you can.)

Since the hotel had only recently opened, there was a bit of a wait during check-in. However, the staff were very kind and courteous, which made the process pleasant. On the other hand, there were a few concerns regarding the facilities. The water in the handwashing area didn’t drain well, and the toilet also had drainage issues. I had never encountered these kinds of plumbing problems at other places I’ve stayed, such as Universal Canaveral or Disney All Star Resort, so it was a bit disappointing. I was also surprised by the lack of sound insulation. Voices from the hallway could be heard very clearly inside the room. Additionally, there seemed to be a gap around the door, which likely allowed more noise to enter. I didn’t experience this kind of issue at the previous hotels I mentioned. Since the hotel is still new, I hope to see improvements in these areas in the future.

Very nice stay staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms clean bed comfy would recommend for a couple of nights stay. Very well organised and structured they have covered everything. Breakfast was basic but good choice and fulfilling. Compliment shuttle to the port very good.

Good value and location for staying  on Disney property.  I stayed one night and got early access into  Disney parks on Check in day and Check out day.  The Walt Disney All Star hotels are priced the lowest of all Disney hotels and although they are not as fancy as the Floridian or as Coronado Springs, they are well with the stay.  Clean room, great amenities

The hotel is quite large, with 4 residential areas, each with its own parking lot. It costs $10 per day, but if you pay for 5 days, subsequent parking is free. I parked for 6 days. There are also several large fountains, creating a great environment. Dining options nearby are convenient, and both Disneyland and Universal Studios are very close.

Cleanliness was only so-so. I found a few hairs in the sink and ended up cleaning them myself. As the cheapest Disney hotel, it offers most of the essential benefits you'd expect. The room itself is almost identical to those at Pop Century, but this resort doesn't have Skyliner access, and the Pop Century campus is arguably more appealing. Ultimately, it's perfectly fine if you're just looking for a place to crash after long park days, especially given the price.

I could tell the hotel had been really nice once. It had just weathered a storm a lot of the rooms were not working. My room did not have electricity by the bed nor did the phone work. other than that, trip.com got the wrong dates on my reservation. They book me for Saturday and Sunday leaving Monday, but my conference, the only reason for my trip, started Monday. Essentially they had me checking out on the day the conference was to begin. I told them immediately but they did nothing about it. trip.com not worth the effort. The Shores resort and spa Daytona Beach will be back and certainly worth the stay if you can get over the front desk staff…. except for the one with the purple ish colored hair. she’s a keeper.

The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but having coffee and hot water available 24/7 was really convenient. The shuttle to the park sometimes runs late, so you really need to be careful and wait by the door ahead of time. I suggest the hotel reception gets involved in managing this!

the location is good. checking in was ok other then you have to pay for parking in the garage. we had to change our room two times. doing to the fact the bathroom every time we took a shower water got every where and we had to keep cleaning it then mold in the bathroom. then the next room ac didn't work . then day of check out when check out was at 11 we left to go get breakfast and when we came back it was around 9:45am and they were cleaning out our room and felt like we were getting pushed out. i wasn't happy about it at all. the pictures they have of the hotel isn't their hotel it's the hotel next door.
