An unforgettable trip! Lake Louise is incredibly famous, and the shuttle to Moraine Lake (thank you, Trip.com, for helping with the booking) was great. Of course, this expensive hotel is made by its stunning environment. The tall, handsome, curly-haired young man at the front desk who checked us in was very polite and incredibly nice (apologies for not getting his name). The staff in the lobby were very friendly, proactively asking if we needed help, and we were able to check in early without a hitch. The lake-view room on the second floor (actually the third) was perfect. Although the room was a bit small, you could tell the hotel put thought into its layout and design, as we were able to fit two suitcases (24-inch and 20-inch). All of this made for a pleasant stay. Even though conversations in the hallway could be heard clearly, it was still quiet at night with no excessive noise. There are many hiking trails around, and a 2-day, 1-night stay allows you to fully explore Lake Louise. The breakfast service on the second day was excellent, and there were even Chinese-speaking staff who warmly welcomed us. If I had to mention any shortcomings, due to space constraints, the shower glass partition didn't have a door (I'm not sure if other rooms have partitions), and the hot water pressure was low, so you could only take a quick rinse.

We stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us. The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room. We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it. The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol) The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together. The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by. Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot. One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples. The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff. Biggest thank you to Jason at the front desk for the spectacular service we enjoyed.

The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Edmonton, within walking distance to attractions and public transport. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable. I do, however, think the hotel is in need of a renovation to modernise it as the interiors and fixtures were outdated. The hotel could also help with the room doors as their opening and closing can be loud and disruptive if trying to sleep. For a next trip to Edmonton, I would stay again.

The receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

The stay was okay, we liked the pool and breakfast part. Some staff are just un approachable. The fire alarm went off at 2am (false alarm). Fire department arrived, We got worried and called the reception she answered dismissively “it will turn off soon please stay in your room!” It took 30-40 mins for the alarm to stop.

The room was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect; there's a large supermarket right after crossing the railway crossing at the edge of the hotel's property, which was very convenient for shopping. The Roam bus stop for Banff was also only about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel staff, including the front desk, were all very friendly and helpful. It was a bit disappointing that the building felt a little old, but other than that, I had very few complaints. The Wi-Fi connected without any issues, and there were plenty of TV channels to enjoy movies. The view was also quite beautiful, and because it was so quiet, I actually preferred it to hotels in Banff.

Affordable and suitable for family travel accommodation.

This is my second visit this time it was perfect they renovated it since i walked in smells sooo clean and fresh the housekeeping manger sooo helpful and kind The buffet for dinner amazing Indian cuisine over all very nice experience especially at the pool

The hotel's location is convenient, situated between the airport and the city, and it lives up to the Hilton brand. However, the room description might be a bit misleading. It's not two separate rooms, but rather a suite with a living room featuring a sofa and one large bedroom. The description on Ctrip was somewhat inaccurate. Other than that, everything else was very satisfactory.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming, and the room was spotless. There's plenty of parking available, which is great for drivers, and you'll find a good variety of restaurants nearby for dining options.
