I rarely leave reviews, but this time I just had to because the hotel was so exceptional, and I didn't want the hard work of all the staff to go unnoticed. I stayed for four days, and the room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautiful. But beyond the room's comfort, the service truly provided an overwhelming amount of emotional value. 👍 The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. The driver was formally dressed, neat, and proactively helped us with all our luggage. The car was also spotless, and everyone received a wet towel and a bottle of mineral water upon entering. The attention to detail in their service was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and diligent. Every day, they offered a free selection of snacks, beverages, ice cream, and tea bags. Whenever we had questions, they answered with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and even gave us various small gifts, which was a delightful surprise. The housekeeping service was absolutely unparalleled; it made you feel like royalty (like even the emperor would bow to you! 😂). All the housekeeping ladies not only fulfilled every request but also proactively anticipated our needs. For example, when they saw my glasses on the table, a housekeeping attendant proactively brought an eyeglass case. When they noticed we had a lot of clothes, a lady would bring a drying rack. And when they saw our cosmetics scattered on the table, another lady brought two small cosmetic bags to help us organize and carry them more conveniently. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, with a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western, hot and cold dishes. The restaurant staff would also proactively and randomly ask guests daily, 'How was your rest last night? Do you have any suggestions for improvement?' If they saw a guest carrying too many plates, they would offer to help carry them back to the table. For dishes that took a few minutes to prepare, they would ask for the table number and deliver them. If you didn't want to go downstairs for breakfast, they could even deliver it to your room. The parking attendant was also amazing, helping with parking, moving cars, and safekeeping keys. Whenever you parked, the attendant was always there, truly providing constant assistance. 😂 Across every service, there were so many instances of such proactive service that it truly deserves the highest praise.

BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. I brought my family to Zhengzhou for the holidays, and since we had a child with us, Chloe at the front desk was very attentive. She specifically arranged a convenient room for us and even gave the child snacks and desserts, which the child absolutely loved. As it was our first time there and we weren't familiar with the area, she also provided us with a hand-drawn map of Zhengzhou when we checked in, allowing us to try local delicacies. It was a worthwhile trip and a very warm stay. We enjoyed a boat ride and delicious food.

This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

I stayed in Kaifeng for two days and chose this hotel near the Gulou area for its convenience in exploring the ancient town. Kaifeng is not a large city like Zhengzhou or Luoyang, and with good stamina you can explore most of it on foot. If you plan to spend three days mainly at Millennium City Park (清明上河园), this hotel may not be the best option. However, there are two direct public buses — Y1 and Bus 15 — that make travel to the park easy. The hotel itself is located on the third floor, with a supermarket directly below at ground level. We bought fruits and beverages there for our stay. The Gulou Night Market is only a few minutes’ walk away, and one of China’s Top 10 Famous Buddhist Temples, Xiangguo Temple (相国寺), is about a five‑minute walk. Visitors often remark that standing in Xiangguo Temple feels like stepping into a living link with the Tang and Song dynasties. Admission is free for seniors aged 60 and above, regardless of nationality. Another nearby attraction is the Kaifeng Prefecture Office (开封府), historically the government headquarters and judicial court of Kaifeng. It is just two bus stops away, with half‑price admission for seniors aged 60 and above. Transportation was convenient: there are direct public buses (No. 10 and Y1) from Kaifeng Train Station to the hotel. This made my arrival from Luoyang and departure to Zhengzhou smooth and easy. I had booked hotels in Luoyang (3 nights), Yuntaishan (3 nights), and Zhengzhou (3 nights), and mistakenly thought I had also booked Kaifeng for 3 nights. In fact, I had only reserved 2 nights. I realized my mistake when the hotel staff kindly alerted me around 4 pm, just before my departure to Zhengzhou. I was panicky, but the counter staff remained calm and understanding, helping me expedite my check‑out. Thanks to their assistance, I managed to catch my train to Zhengzhou East Station (郑州东站) and check into my hotel at Erqi Square before 7 pm. I am very grateful to the hotel staff for their patience and support. Without their help, my transition would not have been so smooth. A big thank you to the hotel team.

Tired of the city's hustle and bustle, I finally found my 'paradise' here. Tucked away in Luoyang Banshan is an absolutely divine hotel. Opening the window reveals a lush green vista, making time seem to slow down. What I loved most was the 'private courtyard with a private hot spring' design. 24-hour natural hot spring water flows directly into your room, so no more crowded public pools. In the evening, soaking in the steamy hot spring while watching the twilight descend over the mountains melted away a whole week's fatigue. The hotel even provides rose petals and mugwort bath bags, which really elevates the experience! It's only a ten-minute drive from the Longmen Grottoes, so after exploring the ancient sites, coming back for a hot spring soak is just the perfect end to the day. Whether it's for a romantic getaway or a girls' trip, this place offers plenty of privacy and a relaxing vibe. The hotel also offers shuttle service, and the butler service is excellent, promptly addressing any issues. Super thoughtful! The room was clean and tidy, and the hot spring water temperature was just right, incredibly refreshing. A truly satisfying travel experience, highly recommended!

The room was very clean and even had drip coffee. Plus, they deliver takeout right to your room, which is super convenient. The lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and gentle. I was very satisfied with my stay. The disposable face towels were individually wrapped and felt super comfortable to use.

The stay experience was absolutely fantastic! I wasn't expecting much, given the super low price, and just booked it for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center for a concert. But wow, was I surprised! This hotel easily rivals a 5-star property. It was clean, and the soundproofing was incredibly good. They even thoughtfully provided a fruit platter. The room was super quiet at night, and very spacious too. What's more, the hotel offered a special shuttle service to and from the concert, with staff diligently checking to make sure all concert-goers boarded. Honestly, it was incredible value for money. My first visit to Henan, and the kindness of the Henan people really touched me. This place deserves a genuine five-star review! (And I promise, I never give dishonest reviews, good or bad; every review I write is completely sincere and based on my actual experience.) I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again if I'm ever back in Henan!

Always excited to try new hotels in Puyang! Passed by this place because there's an EV charging point at a petrol station. I've stayed in the business version of this Biway chain of hotels at Hualong District and it was not bad so I decided to take a chance. This hotel is the premium version of their business series and I'm glad to say that the interior is indeed premium. However it is considered small compared to other luxury premium level hotels in Puyang, but it is more convenient here so it is understandable. Staff is very friendly and well trained even though our check in was rather late. I'm a foreigner so it's a little tricky but all's well and they've upgraded us too. The room is smart so you can say ”Xiaodu Xiaomi” haha. The switches were intuitive so plus points to that! I love the hotel amenities like the hair dryer was pretty superb, heating system in the room is super toasty too. The beddings is really luxurious it's gotta be one of the best I've tried in China haha not an exaggeration. The pooping toilet is separate from the bathing toilet, I like that because my husband's 💩 is really smelly hahahha. Toilet seat is also heated and they provide a disposable toilet seat too. Note that this hotel has an EV charging point but only 1 parking spot so that's very few. Just a few suggestions to take it to the next level: 1. Toilet bowls could have a washing bidet. 2. There's veryyyyy slight hint of smoke smell but it is because my room isn't a non-smoking room. But I would suggest having differentiation of smoking and non-smoking rooms so sensitive folks like me would not smell it at all, or use a better ionic treatment. 3. The hotel should have more EV charging parking spots considering the large number of EVs in China. 4. TV apps are not paid so there's practically nothing much to watch. There are hotels with paid accounts so that's a bonus. Overall no complaints and I look forward to staying again!

This hotel, newly opened in 2024, boasts brand-new facilities and a design that beautifully blends Luoyang's Tang and Song dynasty styles, giving the public areas a very high-quality feel. Its location in Luolong New District is a real plus for tourists; it's just a 10-minute taxi ride from Longmen High-Speed Rail Station, and directly opposite Quanshun Shopping Mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Subway access is also easy. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and higher floors offer views of Kaiyuan Lake. The executive lounge experience is great; the happy hour food and snacks are well-prepared, and the breakfast selection is diverse, even including local beef soup, which is a definite bonus. The swimming pool and gym are fully equipped; the gym is accessible 24 hours, and the pool area includes both wet and dry saunas – the facilities are top-notch. Now for some areas that could be improved based on my actual experience. The standard room size is a bit small, and the power outlet layout in some rooms is impractical, making it difficult to find charging ports on the desk. Check-in efficiency at the front desk was average, with longer waiting times during peak hours, and some staff members had inconsistent service attitudes. The 'lake view' is of an artificial lake, so don't set your expectations too high. The lounge's cocktail offerings were quite disappointing; I ordered a Whiskey Sour and a Negroni, and neither used a solid block of ice, which really affected the taste, to put it mildly. Overall, the hotel is a standard five-star chain and ranks among the top tier in Luoyang. It's suitable for both leisure and business travelers. However, the prices are on the higher side, especially during peak season, so those seeking ultimate value for money might want to compare options. Marriott Bonvoy members will likely find the lounge experience significantly enhanced.
