When traveling with family, it's essential to stay in a hotel that's in the city center and near a subway station, and this Echeng Hotel fits the bill perfectly. It's incredibly convenient for getting to East Lake, Yellow Crane Tower, Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Hubei Provincial Museum, and even Wuhan Railway Station and the airport. The room layout is essentially like two rooms, with the bathroom completely separate from the bed, so there's no light disturbance. The only issue was the central air conditioning vent blowing directly onto the bed, which made for a poor night's sleep initially. However, after speaking with the front desk, a technician quickly came with a small stool and installed a baffle at the vent, and the problem was immediately resolved. All in all, this hotel is perfect. Staying in a bustling area can be summed up in one word: ”convenient”!

The room was very clean and tidy, the staff were all very nice, and the view was excellent. Some people might mind the triangular room, but I thought it didn't affect anything at all. I had a very comfortable two-night stay. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, with the Jianghan Road subway station just 50 meters away, and the surrounding area is very lively. Atour's breakfast and late-night snacks are both great~

The Marco Polo Wuhan Hotel is ideally situated on Yanjiang Avenue in Jiang'an District, directly opposite Hankou Beach and right next to the renowned Li Huangpi Road. I booked a room on the 27th floor, offering panoramic views of both sides of the Yangtze River, stretching as far as the Second Yangtze River Bridge. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative during my two-day stay; the river was shrouded in mist, making it impossible to capture clear and stunning photos. The hotel's facilities and services are impeccable. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the dishes prepared in both the Chinese and Western restaurants are excellent and refined. We were particularly delighted with the Western restaurant's waiter-recommended double set menu, which offered a great variety of dishes and exceptional value for money. Amazing stay at Somerset VFC Wuhan. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 6 nights as this is our most favourite hotel of the world! Wuhan weather is sunny and nice. And the stay at the 2 bedroom apartment is incredible. We have a washer dryer, a kitchen with dishwasher, and a cozy living room just like home. From the hotel you can walk to Wuhan Zoo, or take subway to many beautiful places. The food in the mall attached to the hotel is incredible (strongly Recommended 来菜 which serve Hubei food). Hotel staff is nice and genuine. The breakfast is adequate with several Wuhan specialties as well. I would definitely go back to Wuhan just for this incredible hotel experience.

It looked like a new store, so I made a reservation. The price was very reasonable and great value. There are shopping malls and supermarkets downstairs. There is a Hunan restaurant downstairs. The fried chicken tastes good. The location is easy to find. Parking is free. The lady is also very welcoming. The room The whole house is smart, Tmall Genie can control everything, and the air conditioning effect is great. I will book here next time.

From the online pictures, the hotel and its premises looked dated. However, the warm ambience with soft lightning, spacious walkways and pastel decorations made us look forward to returning back to the hotel everyday. You can't fault the location of the hotel - there are 2 entrances to ensure easy access to where ever you want to go. One entrance gives immediate access to pickups and dropoffs, Jiqing street, not mentioned endless restaurants, shops and street peddles lining up on both sides of the streets. The other entrance gives immediate access to the bustling pedestrian streets, McDonald's, KFC, and other countless eating and shopping options, including souvenir shops, so you could easily grab something before you depart. A mall links to the hotel as well. You could also see a group of seemingly retirees dancing outside every morning. You could also opt for food and parcel delivery and then hotel's trusty robot will deliver to your room, if not, the front door desk will assist to store for you till you collect. The room we stayed was huge and the hotel service staff was very helpful. Many items at the breakfast buffet provided by an external vendor (so we were told) was cold when we went at 7am, such as the dim sum items like the bao and dumplings, and the cooked food like fried noodles. Many of the diners were complaining amongst ourselves. However, the staff there said the food is cooked anyway, so we could still eat them. When I reflected to the front desk, we were given some other breakfast options to make up for our bad experience. A male staff even gave us some toys and souvenirs that made us smile. It is not about getting freebies. I like that the various hotel staff at the front desk cared about guest experience and tried their best within their capacity to show that they want guests to feel happy staying at the hotel. Strong hotel support is really very important to travellers because our itinerary begins and ends with the hotel. So kudos to all the hotel staff who attended to us during our stay. Usually we won't return to the same hotel so as to try other options. But I think we will return to Dorset the next time we visit Wuhan again.

Quanji Hotel, Xiangyang review I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings. First impressions - Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to. - Location: Pretty convenient depending on what you’re here for. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. Housekeeping did a thorough job during my stay, and I didn’t notice any telltale corners being overlooked. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable dropping your gear and not worrying about dirt or mess. Service - Front desk and staff: Friendly and helpful. They stood by for recommendations on dining and local spots without turning the conversation into a sales pitch. When I asked for directions or a printout of an itinerary, they were efficient and patient. - Housekeeping: Prompt and discreet. No intrusions at odd hours, which I appreciated.

This hotel is truly fantastic! Even though I arrived early, well before check-in time, the front desk allowed me to check in right away. The front desk staff provided excellent and swift service, and they also informed me about some of the hotel's additional services. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the facilities and amenities well-equipped. The airport transfer service was also great; perhaps because it's Chinese New Year's Eve, the boss himself drove us to the airport in a Mercedes-Benz!

1. Hotel location is perfect as the Three Gorges Tourist Center is just diagonal opposite the hotel, and Wanda Shopping Mall is also just next to it. 2. The hotel is new, and the smell of the new wooden furniture is too strong and I guess that's why some of the doors of the unoccupied room (included mine) were open which I personally felt a bit uncomfortable as any guess may just step in to any room to do something silly. 3. I stayed for 3 nights, and 1st 2 nights was ok but on the 3rd night, someone checked-in and occupied next to my room, I was in the middle of my sleep and suddenly a piercing sound entered my ears, the sound last for almost 1 min and it seems not ending and so I contacted the counter to seek for help, the counter staff explained that the location of the toilet of room# 1310 is next to the bedframe of room# 1309, they can send me the ear plug for time being and let me change the room the next day. I told them I will be checking out the next day and I am not use to sleep with an ear plug, I hope the sound will end soon and I also tell the staff to escalate this matter up. During my check-out, the counter staff had asked how was my stay and I told her the incident too. I told her that I am not happy especially when the hotel said they can help me to change the room on the next day, my comment was if the hotel already know of this problem, so why are they still arrange guest to stay in room# 1310?? At the end of the day, I am being given some snacks and small souvenirs and 2 bottles of mineral water as compensation. My question to the hotel: why put the blame on the design/layout and not employee training?? Why you know this is the problem but yet still allow the problematic room to be occupied? For the seek of the reputation of the hotel, please shut down the problematic room until you fixed the problem!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Hotel That Truly Leaves Nothing to Be Desired! We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel! It is exceptionally elegant, modern, and beautifully designed, offering a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, meticulously maintained, and thoughtfully presented. We would especially like to highlight the incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Their outstanding hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and well looked after throughout our entire stay. The location is absolutely perfect! The hotel is right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient to explore the surrounding area and enjoy its unique atmosphere. Another wonderful benefit is the 20% discount vouchers for the traditional photoshoots, which are undoubtedly one of the main attractions for visitors to this area. We received the vouchers without any complications, which was a lovely added bonus. We can also highly recommend the breakfast! There is a delicious selection of freshly prepared Chinese dishes, all beautifully presented and of excellent quality. The hotel’s facilities are equally impressive. Both washing machines and dryers are available, which is especially convenient when travelling for an extended period. Even the airport transfer arranged by the hotel was perfectly organised and went absolutely smoothly. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations: the exceptional cleanliness, luxurious atmosphere, fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and, above all, the genuinely wonderful staff. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel without hesitation! It was one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at during our travels through China, and we would happily return anytime.
