The room was quite big, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant next to it was delicious. It is a good choice as a hotel that catches an early flight for one night. The surrounding shops are also complete.

🩷 This hotel is brand new, opened in 2025, so its facilities are quite modern, with a very contemporary, clean, and simple design overall. 🩷 I think it's easily more than a 3-star hotel, and currently the most expensive in all of Tromsø. 🩷 The hotel has 12 floors. Generally, rooms on the 8th floor and above are considered 'superior' with good views. Be aware that lower floors and some orientations directly face the bridge. The best views are from rooms in the X15 series. 🩷 The hotel has convenient parking. 🩷 Breakfast is quite extensive, with salmon and avocado. The price is indeed quite high, especially considering the rooms are less than 20 square meters. Overall, it's good. We paid over 4000 (presumably NOK) without breakfast, which is definitely expensive. It really comes down to whether you're willing to pay for the view and location, as it is conveniently situated.

The hotel is near the airport, an easy 20-minute walk if the weather's good. On a snowy day, we opted for the bus to the airport, which was super convenient. The hotel was quite busy overall, and breakfast started at 6:30 AM, the earliest I've seen in Norway! The breakfast selection was actually quite varied, though the layout was a bit cramped. You do need to return your own tray. The coffee machine was very easy to use. There's also a stunning observation deck right next to the breakfast area.

Overall, it was very good, but the safe in our room wasn't working. Also, the room's view was great; you could easily check the weather and decide whether to go up the mountain to chase the aurora. Another thing I'd like to recommend is that they let us check in early at noon, which saved us a long wait.

After visiting the Lofoten Islands, Tromsø felt more like an optional stop than a must-see. Location: The hotel's location is good, close to the pier. Room: The hotel corridors and rooms looked quite dated, not at all like a five-star hotel. The view outside the window was nice, especially the outdoor scenery from the large windows in the hallway was beautiful. Service: Luggage storage after check-out at this hotel is self-service. They don't provide a storage receipt. The room was piled high with luggage, and the door was left open, so it really depended on how trusting the guests were. Taking the cable car in Tromsø to see the city view from the mountain was great, but everything else was just average. As for the Northern Lights, you can see them in both Tromsø and the Lofoten Islands during winter.

Quality Hotel Harstad is a very nice and modern hotel with a great location and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which really made us feel at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed – perfect for a short or long stay. However, a couple of small things could be improved: there was no fridge in the room, which would have been useful, and the Wi-Fi connection could have been a bit faster and more stable, especially for work or streaming. Aside from that, everything was great – a pleasant stay overall, and I would definitely recommend it!

The room was very clean and large. We arrived later than dinner time and communicated with the hotel staff in advance, and they still left us a sumptuous dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming

The atmosphere was lively and very festive. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive and the stay felt very luxurious. The room was also clean and spacious, although the positioning of the hanging lamps was a bit awkward and I sometimes found my shoulder hitting one when getting into and out of bed. The shower was also very large and decent water pressure and temperature control. The breakfast was amazing! Many options and very delicious! The view from the room was spectacular and the staff accommodated my request for a higher room. The only downsides were the laundry service is incredibly expensive, which was shocking as the hotel I had started in prior to this one did it for free. Also, room cleaning did not come to room one day and I had to make two requests to the front desk to get a fresh towel. It took quite a long time, but eventually did get me a new towel in the evening. The staff apologized profusely for the inconvenience. Overall, the stay was amazing. とてもにぎやかで、お祭りのような雰囲気でした。スタッフの対応は非常に丁寧で行き届いており、滞在全体がとてもラグジュアリーに感じられました。客室も清潔で広々としていましたが、吊り下げ式の照明の位置が少し微妙で、ベッドに出入りする際に肩が当たってしまうことが何度かありました。 シャワーもとても広く、水圧や温度調整もしっかりしていて快適でした。 朝食は素晴らしかったです。種類が豊富で、どれもとても美味しかったです。 客室からの眺めも圧巻で、高層階の部屋を希望したところ、その要望にも快く対応していただけました。 唯一のマイナス点は、ランドリーサービスが非常に高額だったことです。直前に宿泊していたホテルでは無料だったため、正直かなり驚きました。また、ある日は客室清掃が入らず、新しいタオルをもらうためにフロントに2回お願いする必要がありました。少し時間はかかりましたが、最終的には夕方に新しいタオルを届けてもらえました。その際、スタッフの方からは大変丁寧にお詫びがありました。 総合的には、とても素晴らしい滞在でした。

Impressed by the very good services provided by staff. Packed our breakfast when we have a morning ferry to catch, store our luggages when we are away for 2 nights. Location is convenient, room is of good size and clean. Perfect.
