Facilities: Good
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: The location is super convenient; there are so many snack stalls right outside the hotel entrance.
Service: The lady at the front desk was amazing! As soon as we opened the room door, we smelled smoke, which was very uncomfortable, especially with a baby. I paid extra to upgrade the room, and I think it was definitely worth it. The hotel also provided free coffee and a note with recommendations for me. If I ever come back to Quanzhou, I'll definitely stay here again.

The location is great, right near Yushan, offering views of Chairman Mao's statue and the flag-raising ceremony in the square. The scenery is lovely. The restaurant is excellent, with a rich variety for breakfast; the fish ball wontons are freshly made, and the jianbing guozi (savory crepes) prepared on-site are delicious. The Executive Lounge also provided an afternoon tea, and the service was superb. The cocktails mixed by the waitresses were really good.

Facilities: Balcony + bathtub, absolutely incredible! (YYDS is an internet slang term meaning 'forever godly' or 'the best ever').
Cleanliness: Generally very good.
Environment: Near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, very convenient. Easy to order takeout as well.
Service: Overall very good. Just wish the hot dishes at breakfast could be improved a bit; there are plenty of dessert options. Also, last year coffee was free, but this year it's charged. So, I just ordered some Luckin Coffee for delivery instead.

We booked a family suite which was very spacious and the bedding was super comfortable. The service was excellent. It's an older, established hotel, so it's not the newest, but the service truly made our stay comfortable. The breakfast was bountiful; I was in a rush and didn't have time to finish my noodles, and the staff even kindly brought them to our room, which was a lovely gesture. The hotel also decorated our room for our wedding anniversary and gave us a cake—thank you, five stars! And the service at the Fudi Restaurant was also great, and the food was delicious. All in all, this stay was very pleasant. Thanks to InterContinental for their service.

Hilton Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang boasts an excellent location right by the Min River. After dinner, a stroll along the riverside is incredibly pleasant! The hotel staff are friendly and provide great service, responding quickly to any requests. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, the environment is lovely, and you get a beautiful view outside the dining room window! The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and I had a fantastic rest!
This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and it's so close to Gulangyu Island! I really love this trendy, light-luxury hotel managed by IHG. I brought my parents back to relive some memories, and we stayed in a sea-view room, which they absolutely loved. With Christmas approaching, the festive atmosphere is really strong. The room even has a charming cartoon-style design, showing a lot of thought and care. It's clean, tidy, and has a great overall vibe. As for the location, if you turn right and then immediately right again behind the hotel, you'll find a row of excellent, unique small restaurants with affordable prices and a wide variety of dishes. It's really good!

The room was spacious and clean, even though it wasn't brand new. We even received a complimentary fruit platter on the evening of our check-in. The Xihu Grand Hotel boasts an excellent location with a boardwalk for lakeside strolls. Xihu Park and Zuohu Park are nearby, and the pier for inner-river tours is also conveniently close, making it a very convenient spot.

I booked this hotel for my trip to Quanzhou and it honestly exceeded my expectations in every way! First off, the room was incredibly spacious, and the bathroom was huge, making for a very comfortable stay. What really stood out was the hotel's service. My friend and I were talking about buying fridge magnets, and the front desk staff overheard us and just gave us some – it was such a thoughtful touch! They also brought us anything we needed right away. The value for money here is excellent! I'll definitely be choosing InterContinental hotels first from now on; this stay really impressed me.

After returning from Meizhou Island, we saw Shangri-La recommended on Ctrip and made a beeline for it. The lobby decor, as always, exuded the classic Shangri-La style. The concierge service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, though I wasn't quite accustomed to the taste of Yan Jiao (a type of wonton made with pork skin, if I recall correctly). The ancient bridge right next door was also a picturesque sight.
A special mention goes to Tina, who was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She gave us fantastic recommendations for local dining and attractions. When arranging our room, she noticed we had children and thoughtfully sent up kids' slippers and toothbrushes. The welcome fruit was also pre-arranged, featuring a large, fresh bunch of grapes and two wonderfully juicy and tender pears. Her service was truly attentive and personalized.
We were only passing through Putian on our way back from Meizhou Island this time, but we unexpectedly discovered that Putian is definitely worth revisiting! Next time, we'll plan a dedicated trip here and will absolutely stay at the Shangri-La again. We really hope to see Tina again then! 😘😘
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy.
The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.

OOri IdanIn the past year I have been to many hotels, all over China. This hotel is one of the best ones.
We were staying in the Executive Room - Sea-View and our experience was marvelous. The 24th floor room has amazing views, just a stone's throw away from Gulangyu island. The hotel itself is high end, a real 5 stars hotel in every aspect, including the excellent gym. I recommend you to book one of the executive rooms because you will get access to the Executive Lounge which allows you to enjoy delicious food and beverages all day long while accompanied by very few other guests. The executive lounge made our stay even more enjoyable and unforgettable.
Of course I should mention the prime location of the hotel: a short walk away from the metro station and Lujiang night Cruise pier.
There's no doubt that if I visit Xiamen again I will return to Swiss Grand.
GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!
GGuest UserI can’t say I’m a frequent guest of this hotel, but I’ve been coming to it for the past 3 years at least once a year. I have to say that I am a bit disappointed with the service. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hungry, they used to have a menu for the room service in the room, now it was gone, I had to call them to ask someone to bring the menu to the room. I ordered the food at 10pm, at that time, the selection of items was very limited. Luckily my Chinese is good enough to get by, because almost nobody spoke English there. I understand it’s not mandatory to have a full English speaking staff, but I think at least one person per shift should be able to speak some English in case someone needs it.
Another point that needs improvement was the gym. Objects were unorganized, it looked abandoned.
Besides all of this, when I come back, I might give this hotel another chance, the rooms are clean, the location is good and I am usually someone who’s loyal to brands.
GGuest UserThe room has a 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling window, which is very cool. If you are lucky, you can watch the sunrise directly from the bed! ! The facilities are super new, and there are even disposable face towels in the washbasin, which is highly praised! Even the hair dryer is a Dyson! ! After we moved in, we asked Receptionist No. 1 to accompany the guests. The cat car was super nice and the brother Luoye Zhiqiu's attitude was also super, super nice! ! He always helped me to find the car and picked up the things we left at the B&B! ! ! The overall experience is great
MM55036****With its black bricks, gray tiles, and carved wooden windows, every corner of this place exudes a sense of history and elegance. From the welcome fruit and calming incense to the Fuzhou-specific tea, attention to detail is evident everywhere. The toiletries in the bathroom are from L'Occitane. Each room also offers activities like making lacquer fans and stringing beads, and the breakfast is abundant. I'll definitely stay at this guesthouse again next time I visit Fuzhou.
GGuest UserThe hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a well - appointed bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to offer assistance. Not bad, and might come again.
AAnonymous UserAlthough the hotel facilities are relatively old, it is very comfortable to live in. There are many parking spaces in the ground parking lot, and parking is convenient. The front desk was very considerate and helped to upgrade the room. The hotel also has a wide variety of breakfast. The hotel is located very close to Zhangzhou Ancient City, within walking distance, and there are many food options.
