I found this hotel near Newark Airport last minute due to a flight change. They offer a shuttle service every half hour, and it's all about value for money and convenience. The hotel is about a fifteen-minute walk to a European immigrant neighborhood with many restaurants, including a BBQ joint that serves huge portions. The hotel itself is a bit old, but it prioritizes good value and convenience, especially for an airport hotel.

The rooms are quite new and spacious. After landing, you have to go to a designated airport pickup point, but for departure, you can go directly to the terminal. The hotel breakfast is pretty poor, which is a common issue with American hotels – not only is the quality lacking ☹️, but it's also presented very unattractively.

I had an excellent business stay at Holiday Inn. The location is super convenient, saving me a lot of travel time and effort. The Robert Treat Hotel is a very nice place for an overnight getaway or any occasion. Although my room had to be changed 3xs due to a few things not working and a blood stained comforter. The staff from the Front Desk to Engineering/Housekeeping to Security were diligent in making sure I was comfortable for the remainder of my stay!! In the hospitality industry, many things do happen however, it's the way in which things are handled! THANK YOU AGAIN STAFF FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND TAKING CARE OF MY ISSUES PROMPTLY! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN I WILL STILL GIVE 5 STARS!

If you won’t mind a short bus trip back and forth to NYC, then it’s the best affordable hotel choice you can get. It was not a big deal for us because we liked the vibe of going in and out of NY. Walmart was just a few walks away which was the best part, getting goods was very easy. There’s also a nearby food place which was a plus too. The breakfast was not the best (as an Asian girl who loves her rice meals lol) Coffee is available so that was good start to any day
