The environment is beautiful, a true feast for the eyes and a perfect place to relax. It's wonderful for some alone time. There's a pool on the third floor where you can swim while enjoying the lush green mountains and trees, as well as the stars in the sky. Outside the courtyard, you can barbecue and fish. Downstairs, there's a mahjong room and a cozy reading nook. I stayed for two days and didn't encounter any mosquitoes. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. Looking out the window at the vibrant green trees instantly lifted my mood. You can even see the sky through the roof! There's a bar area where you can enjoy afternoon tea. The noodles made by the owner were delicious, and the afternoon tea was great too. The cleaning lady was very friendly; she even offered to take me on her e-bike to explore the nearby scenic spots if I visit again. When I checked in, it was raining, and the owner drove me to the station. My first impression of Chengde was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to my next relaxing trip here.

Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here

The B&B is located right inside the Xueluju Hotel in Thaiwoo Ski Town, and you can navigate directly to the entrance. Parking is convenient; if you become a town member, you get free parking, and the underground garage is heated. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, ensuring privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for making a simple breakfast. The room also came with a washing machine and dryer, and the shower gel and shampoo were from a good brand, which I really appreciated. The butler-style service was particularly noteworthy—very attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and very warm; despite it being over -20 degrees Celsius outside, it was a cozy 25 degrees inside. Although its location isn't directly above the ski rental hall and lacks a view, it's very quiet at night. Plus, it's only a two-minute walk to the slopes once you're geared up.

I believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed. We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive. In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace. The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection. I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

When planning our trip to Jinshanling Great Wall, we looked at several guesthouses and ultimately chose Wanping Farm Stay. We were not disappointed! The guesthouse is incredibly close to the Great Wall scenic area's ticket office. We could even see the watchtowers from their courtyard – super convenient for an early morning climb. The rooms were surprisingly bright, clean, and modern, exactly as pictured. Breakfast offered local specialties, and for lunch and dinner, you could order dishes. The owner, who is an amazing cook, prepared delicious home-style meals that perfectly suited our Shanghai palates. The whole family was incredibly warm and friendly. The owner is also a Great Wall photography master, full of experiences and tips. We'll definitely choose Wanping Farm Stay again next time!

Loved our stay at Jinshanling hanting B&B. Very convient to the ticket gate, about a 1minute walk so ideal for sunset and sunrise viewing. Staff are very helpful and friendly - communicating via translate app and providing detailed information to make the most of our visit. We enjoyed our dinner we had after the sunset, and breakfast which was included. We also used the transfer service back to the train station which was reasonable priced.

Among all the B&Bs I've stayed at, this one easily ranks in the top three. If you factor in the price, it's definitely number one for value for money. The family running the B&B was incredibly welcoming and warm, especially the older folks who were so vibrant. To get from the B&B to the Jinshanling Great Wall hiking entrance, we asked the owner to call a car for us, and it was only 10 yuan per person one way, dropping us off directly. The minivan was much more comfortable than taking the shuttle bus, and it's also a short walk if you prefer. If I had to pick a downside, the toiletries were a bit basic, but considering the room rate, that's easily overlooked.

This was our first time visiting Aranya, and we chose this family-friendly vacation rental. Overall, we had a great stay. The host was very kind, and the property manager was responsive and helpful. We stayed in Phase 6, which has a great location—just a short walk to the beach. The room even included beach toys for the kids, which they loved. It was also very close to the bike rental area and plenty of restaurants, making everything very convenient. Since we arrived late on our first night, we noticed the bed sheets needed a little more attention, We contacted the host and property manager, and they quickly arranged for housekeeping to take care of it early next day. We really appreciated their prompt response. Hopefully, the Aranya housekeeping team can be a bit more careful in the future. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Value for money accomodation. Very clean by a singaporean's standard Location is directly opposite the fulong four season town物业服务中心 canteen, open for breakfast lunch and dinner, if you are too tired to head to chongli town after a full day of skiing. Boss lent me his card so i could get discount at the canteen. The location is ideal, a few stops by internal shuttle bus to fulong ski resort, shuttle bus stop is just downstairs. And it takes bout 10 mins to walk to chongli town where there is plenty of restaurants and ski equipment rental. I rented my entire set of ski equipment from the boss' shop, he gave me a good discount as i was staying for a long period. It is the cheapest rental i saw in the whole chongli town. And his ski equipment are newly purchased from french brand rossignol and very clean. Other than that, boss also offered two way transport to chongli railway station and helped with booking of ski tickets, ski instructor etc. He even recommended a good sports massage place to me after i had sore muscles from skiing! Basically, you just need to book accomodation thru boss and he handles the rest for a stress-free ski holiday!

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section. This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport). The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.
