GGuest UserI can’t recommend Stars Pasture (Xingchen Muju) enough. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
We took our family to Huitengxile Grassland, and even before we arrived, we felt the owner’s kindness. He personally came out to help with our luggage and asked about our breakfast preferences for the next day. During our chat, he also shared great tips on nearby activities, which made planning much easier.
The deluxe room we booked was much more spacious than we expected, with endless grassland right outside the door. Watching horses and cattle graze in front of our window was amazing. The room was very well equipped. The hairdryer worked well, hot water was plentiful, and they even provided disposable towels, which made everything feel extra clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, and at night, we could see the beautiful starry sky right from the window.
The food was absolutely amazing. The lamb tripe soup in the morning was rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. I ended up having several bowls! For dinner, we ordered roasted lamb chops and other local specialties, and everything was delicious. My whole family loved it. You definitely don’t have to worry about food here; the quality is excellent. Plus, the Huanghuagou Scenic Area and other attractions are very close by, so there’s plenty to explore.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The place is clean, the food is fantastic, and most importantly, the owner’s genuine hospitality made us feel at home. We’re very grateful for how well he took care of us during our visit, and we would come back again.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the grassland!
这家“星辰牧居”真的给了我太多惊喜，必须狠狠夸一下！
这次带家人来辉腾锡勒草原，从还没进门就感受到了老板的细心周到。老板不仅主动来帮忙搬行李，还很贴心地问了我们第二天的早餐喜好，聊天的过程中还给我们推荐了附近好玩的项目，处处都安排得很妥当。
我选的精品大床房，出乎意料地大，门口就是一望无际的大草原。放眼望去能看到成群的牛马悠闲地吃草。设施设备齐全，吹风机风量足，热水出水很快，不会出现排队等洗澡的情况。用的还是一次性浴巾和毛巾，干净卫生特别放心。床品软乎乎的，晚上躺在暖暖的被窝里，还能看到漫天璀璨的星空，这种体验太惬意了。
再说说这家的美食，我印象最深的就是早上的羊杂汤，鲜香暖胃，我一口气炫了好几碗。晚餐我们点了烤羊排、手把肉等特色菜，色香味俱全，家人们都赞不绝口。顺便提一句，来这儿玩完全不用担心没好东西吃，餐厅出品水准超级在线。周围还有很多游玩的地方，很近黄花沟景区。
总的来说，这次住宿我们全家都非常满意，酒店设施整洁、人好、食物好，老板的用心经营更是让我们感受到了家一般的温暖，下次有机会一定还会再来！真诚推荐给每一位来草原游玩的朋友们，选这儿准没错！

AAnonymous UserFirst off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

I can’t recommend this homestay enough. From the moment we stepped into the compound, the warmth of the family was immediately felt. You’ll be welcomed by a lovely lady, her husband, and his brother, who treat you less like a guest and more like family.
Within minutes of arriving, they greeted us with snacks, a gift, and let us know they were already preparing a local dinner. We sat down with them that evening, sharing a spread of local dishes and drinks, it was a genuinely special night. I don’t speak a word of Chinese, and yet through Translate we had a wonderful time together. Before heading to bed, they asked what time we needed to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for us which was very nice!
Morning came with their dogs greeting us and a delicious homemade local breakfast waiting at the table.
As for the yurt itself, it’s beautiful and incredibly cozy inside, exactly what you’d hope for. There’s heating in there in case you get cold as well.
We stayed two nights, and on our second evening we had to turn in early for an early flight. The other guest, though, stayed up late singing and dancing with the family, which honestly made me wish we could have stayed longer.
I’d give this place a 20/10 if I could. I booked it thinking it was just somewhere interesting to sleep for the night. What I didn’t know was that it would end up being a highlight of my trip to China.

The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is a beautiful little boutique hotel where nothing is missing: the rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean, and the team is incredibly friendly and helpful.
A real highlight is the delicious tea ceremony – the perfect way to end the evening while sharing stories. The hosts make it so easy to feel at home!
If you need help organizing your trip, you can fully rely on the hotel team – simply fantastic.
The Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿) is located right by the riverside promenade and close to the city center. There’s nothing better than strolling back to the hotel after an iced hotpot, across the town square and along the river – highly recommended!
If you’re stopping in Aershan, you should definitely stay at the Aershan Guiye Homestay (阿尔山归野宿集民宿). We would come back anytime – and we already miss our wonderful hosts!

AAnonymous UserThis homestay is great. When the driver took us to the door, his eyes were bright and luxurious. The courtyard was full of Russian architectural style. The matryoshocks on the wall were punched everywhere in the courtyard. The swings that children love to play, the glowing mushrooms, the little squirrels, the separation of dry and wet, the toilet is a smart toilet, Even the curtains are smart. The proprietress saw that the three of us were crowded and upgraded us to a big bed room. It was great. The breakfast was rich and varied. The tea was free. The coffee was free. The children wore Mongolian robes to punch in. It was free, and there was a special mineral water Guna Spring. I said it was delicious. Before leaving, the boss gave me a few bottles, if I have time next year, I will come again~

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay! To find a place like this in the desert – so clean, convenient, and with genuinely friendly and generous staff – it's truly a hidden gem! The hotel front desk sells attraction tickets at a great price, which really enhances the experience. After the scenic area closes, it's essentially like having the whole place to yourself; you can go wherever you want and have the entire desert all to yourself. In the evenings, they even organize trips deeper into the desert to stargaze and take photos! It's also pet-friendly, and my dog absolutely loved playing in the sand! When the water heater broke in the middle of the night, a staff member came right up, fixed it in no time, and even replaced the showerhead with a new one. Their efficiency and service attitude definitely deserve a five-star rating! Highly recommend!

GGuest UserBeautiful resort in the Xilamuren grasslands, with a mix of traditional yurts and unique modern-styled accommodations. I stayed in both types of accommodation and both were very comfortable. Full length windows offer views of the expansive grasslands in the day, while the yurts also have a unique skyroof design for stargazing on clearer nights.
Breakfast was quite simple local fare, mainly porridge with sides like pickles and egg, very filling. Lunch and dinner is not inclusive but there is a large menu that you can order from. The resort also has its own bar! I believe it is open nightly during the peak season of July/August, and depending on guest volumes at other times.
The boss Mr Da and his staff were so welcoming and kind. I travelled solo, and they added me on WeChat so that I could easily reach them if I had any questions or needs. Boss Da also very kindly took me to a few local sights and spots, since I did not have my own means of transport (感谢达老板!). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the resort. If I were to visit Xilamuren again, Xilamuren Grassland Mongolian Holy Land Resort would definitely be my accommodation of choice.

This stay at Lost Villa in the Yellow River Grand Canyon was an amazing experience. The entire property is very quiet and exclusive, with only 15 rooms, which makes it feel private and far away from the usual crowds. It’s the perfect place to truly relax.
The room is beautifully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. What really stands out is the view — it is absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the best in the area. Watching the Yellow River canyon scenery from the room feels like being in a movie, especially during sunrise and sunset.
The staff are also very friendly and attentive, making the whole stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it’s a highly recommended retreat for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and unforgettable natural scenery.
这次入住黄河大峡谷的 Lost Villa 体验非常棒！整体环境非常安静又有私密感，因为全馆只有 15 间房，完全没有一般度假村的人潮感，住起来特别放松。房间设计有质感又舒适，而最让人惊艳的就是窗外的景色，真的可以说是这里最顶级的 view，黄河峡谷景观非常震撼，日出日落都美到像电影画面。工作人员服务也很贴心，整体氛围非常适合想远离城市、享受宁静度假的人。非常推荐！

EEmilyThe location is very convenient, and parking is easy too. When we arrived around 10 PM, the owner thoughtfully turned on the room heating for us in advance! The service was unbeatable! They even reserved breakfast for us at 10 AM, which was a real treat. We are so grateful to the owner for making our trip to Ulanqab so enjoyable.
