The room was decent, it's a bit of a walk up to the hotel but they do provide a free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal, though I didn't take it as I like to explore the island a bit. The hotel is relatively closer to the Mt Misen Ropeway, but sadly it was under maintenence during my stay there.
The public bath is the highlight of my stay there, it was amazing and nobody was using it in the time I was there, so I had the entire jacuzzi to myself to relax in. For the shy ones, you are able to check if the bath is occupied from the television in the room before heading there.
The staff were very kind and tried their best to communicate with me in English, and even provided recommendations for dinner around the island as I did not opt for the dinner there. A single momiji manju was waiting on the table when I entered the room with a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very nice gesture.
The place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.
The counter clerk speaks fluent English, the room is decorated in traditional Japanese style and the view is very beautiful.
Although there is space for suitcases in the room, considering the distance up the mountain, it is recommended to lock the luggage at the JR station and carry a backpack up the mountain. On the downside, there are only two shared shower rooms, so you may need to wait in line, the quilts and mattresses are a little dusty, and the room has poor sound insulation, which are all problems of old Japanese-style buildings. But the price is very high for the scenery, it is worth experiencing for one night
Good location, near to the coin car parking because no car parking available in the hotel. This is a perfect place for family, the hotel is so comfy and wide. we enjoyed so much and for sure we will come back again.
It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included.
The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata.
The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview.
Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called).
The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki.
Definitely a recommended stay!
The hostel had a great location. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but you had your privacy.
Toilets and shower were very clean.
All in all a nice hostel to stay for 1 or two nights. For a longer stay I would recommend a different one because the beds weren’t that comfortable:))
Enjoy a luxurious stay in Miyajima and Hiroshima in this special private villa.
Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Miyajimaguchi Station, the gateway to the World Heritage site Itsukushima, this private house boasts an ideal location. It's also close to the ferry terminal, providing easy access to Miyajima, as well as convenient single-train connections to central Hiroshima, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park.
The harmonious blend of tranquil design and high-quality interiors makes it perfect for families and groups. Relax and converse in the spacious living room, enjoying a luxurious stay reminiscent of a private villa.
Enjoy a peaceful environment while maintaining excellent accessibility for sightseeing.
Experience the full charm of Miyajima and Hiroshima while enjoying a truly relaxing stay.
*Please note that this property is located on the mainland side, not on Miyajima Island.
Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room felt brand new, with plenty of space and two large, incredibly comfortable beds. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the bathroom was spacious and spotless.
Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect — especially convenient for visiting the nearby museum.
We were genuinely impressed by how much value you get for the price. I can’t recommend B Hotel Neko Yard highly enough — it’s a fantastic place to stay and truly exceeded our expectations!

BblinshikiExceptional location, very close to the main station and lovely staff!
Already very clean but I also somehow was very lucky about the other people in my room - all of them were very nice, mostly solo traveling women who kept the place neat as well (e.g. there was a vacuum to clean up after blow drying your hair that everybody used).
You have to pay for a few amenities but it’s not much so I didn’t mind it. Especially since I didn’t stay for long.
Definitely would stay here again!
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
GGuest UserWe stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you!
The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇♀️
GGuest UserIncredible traditional Japanese house, newly renovated with everything you need for comfort. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked for us to prepare our own meals. The garden is beautiful and you can enjoy ocean view and sunrise from the house, there’s even a blooming Cherry Blossom tree in the garden. Just a tip to keep the sliding doors closed properly because mosquitoes do get in. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Vviva2548Budget friendly hostel in a good location. It is walking distance to Hiroshima station so it's very convenient. Only one thing my dormitory just next to the kitchen and it was noisy from the kitchen... People talk so lound and my last day early morning there are hangover backpackers in the room. A bit feels unsafe so stay alert

GGuest UserThank you for letting me stay at your place. I think it was a very nice place to temporarily stay when you spent most of your time outside. It was located near the Hiroshima station which meant easy access to many places.
AAnonymous UserIt was a clean and very stylish hostel.
It also has great access to tourist spots in the city.
There was a public bath and an izakaya within walking distance, so we went there in the evening.
However, there is no parking lot, so if you come by car you will need to park in a nearby parking lot.
Also, since it is a hostel, there are no amenities.
Furthermore, please note that eating and drinking in the rooms is not possible.
