Wow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! What a hidden gem of a hotel! We arrived at 11 PM and called ahead to order dinner from the hotel restaurant. The lamb hotpot was absolutely incredible – seriously, so, so good. The service was outstanding and so welcoming. The staff helped with all our luggage; even if I walked past with just a backpack, someone would immediately offer to carry it. The coffee at breakfast was also the best I'd had in all my days in Xinjiang. Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel also offers horse riding (for a fee) and archery (free). We stayed at the hotel until well after noon before checking out, which was incredibly relaxing. We initially thought it would be a two-hour drive to Kokesu, but a staff member told us about an entrance that was only a 20-minute drive away. That was a huge help, truly. All in all, everything was perfect. We didn't get to see the stars because it rained that night, but we had no regrets at all because this hotel is just phenomenal. Oh, and the hotel also has fast charging stations for electric cars!

Zhaosu Muxueju ｜ Treasure B&B for healing the journey, I will choose here next time I come ✨ Usually when booking a homestay online, there will always be some embarrassment in my heart, worried that the real scene and the pictures and texts do not match, and disappointed by stepping on thunder. But this time, the Mu Xueju, who stayed in Zhaosu, completely subverted my inherent impression, adding warmth and surprise to our trip to Yili. We drove all the way from Yining to Zhaosu, and the sun was hot and tired in the afternoon. Fortunately, the little girl at the front desk was very gentle and enthusiastic, and she checked in for us intimately and quickly. We booked a 180-degree view room at the end of the homestay. The view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides is really amazing! Nestled on the soft white sofa in the living room, you can quietly enjoy the flowing clouds and the distant mountains and clear mountains. The healing scenery of Zhaosu is panoramic, and the atmosphere is directly full. The homestay has been open for two years, but the room facilities are very clean and tidy, and there are almost no traces of use. The real scene is exactly the same as the platform picture, and there is no gap, which makes people particularly comfortable. Before departure, I added the store's WeChat consultation activities in advance, and responded promptly, patiently and meticulously throughout the process, and thought about everything for the sake of the guests. For the homestay, clean and high-quality hardware is the foundation. This kind of intimate service is the most moving temperature. There is also a small promotion of the staff, and we have given a lot of practical suggestions for our itinerary. It is sincere and enthusiastic, especially reliable. During our stay, we ate lunch and dinner here, and it was especially convenient to support online applet orders. From the room, the meal has been prepared intimately, and it takes no time to wait. The local beef tastes great, fresh and fragrant, and the authentic taste is endless. At the same time, I experienced the self-service laundry service in the store, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and the detailed experience is full. There are also two cute dogs in the store every day and Harley, who have a gentle personality and are not afraid of life. Every night, they walk back to the room, and they will escort us all the way, watching two small cockroaches run wildly in the grassland, spread joy and roll, comfortable and healing, just watching the mood become soft. Most special is that the homestay also arranged a rich Kazakh folk experience. We personally experienced milking, separating cream, hand-made snoring, and finally shared the cakes made by ourselves with everyone, immersed in local folk culture, and the journey became particularly meaningful. We stayed here for two nights, and went back and forth to the Xiata Scenic Area the next day. After watching the performance of the Tianma Yuhe, it was already ten o'clock in the evening. I thought that returning to Shanghai late at night would be a simple reception. I didn't expect the staff to take the initiative to greet the play experience. A gentle care immediately dispersed the fatigue of the journey. It is really rare to be able to make the service meticulous and put the guests in their hearts. Before leaving, the staff also specially recommended a niche route for us with beautiful scenery and sparse traffic, so that we can arrive at Joan Kushtai with peace of mind along the way with the beautiful scenery of the grassland. After the immersive experience throughout the whole process, I am full of joy and touch. If you come to Zhaosu next time, Mu Xueju must be our best choice! I really recommend it to friends who come to Zhaosu to travel, it is worth going, it is worth staying repeatedly 💛

This guesthouse is in a great location, right in the heart of Xicheng, very close to popular spots like Budai Lane and other attractions. Even though it's in a busy area, it's surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and well-equipped. The courtyard is beautiful and perfect for photos. The owner was incredibly welcoming, offering us watermelon as soon as we arrived and always responsive to our needs and questions. A fantastic stay!

During our 2 week travel we choose this hotel because of its location (which is great) - the hotel is literally just a few steps from the metro station, which was a lifesaver during our 2-week stay. Considering the quality of the service, the comfort of the rooms, and the prime location, I felt this hotel offered excellent value. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure :)

The cabin is lovely and well-equipped, with spacious, clean, and tidy rooms. Its location is very close to the scenic area station, about a 5-minute walk to catch the shuttle bus, allowing you to enjoy the area until past 11 PM. Luggage pick-up and drop-off service is provided, which is very thoughtful. We had dinner and breakfast here, and the food was delicious. You can also take a one-stop bus ride to the food street for more options. Staying in the cabin is peaceful and quiet at night, yet you can experience the lively village atmosphere during the day, which truly lifts your spirits!

Amazing stay at YiJing! The experience at the cabin was truly magical, with its one-window-one-framed view setting that effortlessly brought the beauty of the outdoors inside. Even the bathtub had a stunning vista, making every soak an indulgent retreat. The cabin’s full facilities, including a Dyson hair-dryer, floor warming and an auto toilet, added a layer of luxury that made us feel pampered at every turn. The guest service was simply unparalleled. From the moment we were welcomed at the entrance by the friendly resident dogs, we felt right at home. The welcome drink and snacks, paired with a delightful afternoon tea, set the perfect tone for our stay. Dining recommendations were spot-on, ensuring we enjoyed the best local flavors. The turn-down service, complete with a delightful Chinese dessert soup as in-room support, was a thoughtful touch that highlighted their attention to detail. One of my personal highlights was the Marshall speaker; it allowed us to fill the cabin with our favorite music, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt like our own little sanctuary. We were also gifted with a special Xinjiang gift upon our departure, which was a lovely surprise! Despite the rain and cold that greeted us upon our arrival in Hemu, our stay in YiJing more than compensated for the dreary weather. The hotel is the best in Baihaba Village. The price is not expensive. The hotel is in a good location. It is not on the main street, so it is very quiet at night. Unlike on the main street, various transportation restaurants barbecue tourists are noisy, barbecue smoke, and live in the koala hotel to enjoy the tranquility. Green grass and flowers are planted in the small courtyard of the hotel, and there are outdoor leisure tents ⛺. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with washing machines, large bathrooms, hot water is sufficient, dry and wet separation, especially easy to use, the room also has a massage chair, driving for a day, massage for a while is particularly relaxing, relieve fatigue. The boss was very hospitable. He called in advance to drive to the parking lot of Xincun to pick him up. When he left the store, he was sent to the parking lot. The guests helped solve any problems. My car lacked oil. After the phone inquiry, I personally took me to the small shop selling oil to help talk about the price. Special thanks to the beautiful boss here! I have the opportunity to stay at the Koala Hotel again in the future and enjoy the good time at that moment!

The room was spotless and fully equipped with smart controls, which was incredibly convenient. In the morning, I didn't even need to get out of bed to open the curtains if I wanted to film a quick video. Both the hotel and the dining areas offered fantastic views, so every photo I took was a scenic shot. They delivered a mini hot pot in the evening, and breakfast included a variety of small dishes, staple foods, and quality protein – perfect for a trip. My only wish is that the evening hot pot had a spicy option!

Overall, quite a decent stay. You really can’t beat the location. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the main entrance to this side of old city. The balcony overlooks the main street and I loved sitting there and taking in the sounds and smells. The building itself is a bit older and it shows. The table in my room was a bit dirty and aged, and there was an ashtray which suggests smoking can be allowed in the room for prior guests, but thankfully there was no cigarette smell in my room. Unfortunately, there were a few setbacks. The bathroom shower did not drain well and after 5 minutes water would start flooding out of the shower room to the hallway. There are two washers in a lower room but they were both occupied with sheets that were just sitting there and had not been put through the wash cycle yet. It seemed like the hotel uses these as their main washer for their linens. When I was checking in, the front desk person seemed confused if I had a reservation but that’s about as much as I could figure out with the language barrier. My trip.com reservation said I have a late checkout of 4pm but they came to my room around 2:45pm and said I was supposed to check out at 2pm. Thankfully I had everything packed up and said I could leave at 3pm. No one came to my room to clean so my trashcan was full. You can hear everything on the street which wasn’t a big problem to me, sort of white noise drowned out by the second day. However, the second day there was a new group of tourists that arrived and spent a lot of time on the balcony (as they should) but their noise was very audible and quite annoying. You could also easily hear people going up and down the stairs and in adjacent rooms.
