Came here on a popular weekend, the hotel was fully booked. The location is easy to find with navigation. Parking is available at the guesthouse, though the alley can be a bit tricky to navigate. Since we drove, but parking was a hassle, we mostly used taxis to get around. The street outside is full of wholesale shops and is constantly congested. There are also many late-night food stalls in the evening. The room was very clean, and the showerhead was large with great water pressure, making for a comfortable shower (though it's an electric water heater, so it only supports one person showering at a time; the second person has to wait). Shampoo and shower gel (P&G Rejoice brand) were provided. There’s also a rooftop where you can dry clothes, which is very convenient! Pic 4 shows the exaggerated Xinjiang-style decor. Pic 7 is the lovely alleyway outside the guesthouse. Pic 8 is the guesthouse lobby!

This place is about a 15-minute drive from Taxian county, located off a rural road, quite a distance from the town center. The views are incredible, with direct sight of the snow-capped mountains – the scenery is absolutely stunning, and the tent atmosphere is just perfect. We arrived late on the day, so we didn't really experience much in the way of attentive service; it was just a quick check-in and some directions. Since it's a tent camp, you can't drive directly to your tent. Luggage needs to be transported by the scenic area's shuttle bus, which can be a bit of a hassle and tiring if you have a lot of stuff. The breakfast was pretty average, not particularly lavish, but considering its remote, outdoor location, this standard is understandable. It works perfectly fine if you're looking for a guesthouse-like stay. Also, it was incredibly windy that night. If you're sensitive to wind noise or other sounds, I'd recommend checking the weather forecast beforehand, otherwise, it might affect your sleep. Overall, the experience was decent. Its main draw is the scenery and the unique tent experience. If you're looking for peace and quiet while enjoying snow mountain views, this is the place to be.

The hotel's architecture itself is like an attraction. The rooms are pretty much identical to the pictures, with a simple, elegant, and tasteful decor. It's clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Turpan.

The B&B's location is excellent, right next to Guizi Alley and just across the river from Hestian Old Street. It's a short walk to the Kuche Grand Mosque and the Prince's Palace. The exterior of the rooms is designed in a minimalist style, reminiscent of ancient residences, while the interior is fully equipped and comfortable. There's also a private parking lot, making it very car-friendly.

My friend and I (both from Ireland) stayed here for 4 days and had the best experience. The rooms were lovely and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect- right in the Old Town with lots of nice shops and cafes nearby and beautiful places to take photos. The best part was the staff- everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It was really nice to meet lots of groups of travelers there from various countries, too. Would highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in great location. Rooftop area which looked over the back of the show outside the ancient town area. Breakfast upon request was delivered in small takeaway boxes. Cute but a lot of plastic waste. However the rooms had the big water dispensers in with the kettle attached which was great. Shower area had big shared bottles of shampoo etc., which was also great 😊

Temporary reservation to this camp the day before check-in, the location is next to the Kalajun self-driving door, the next day 🉑 It is very convenient to enter Kalajun directly, it only opened for about 3 days! But there is no smell in the whole camp and the room. I will contact you in advance before check-in and will provide a menu. The chef in the camp will cook according to your taste! There is a super flattering puppy that greets you super warmly! The room is as different as in the picture, and the hot water air conditioner is great! It is recommended to get up early. You can see that there are cows and horses around your room eating grass quietly. From time to time, rabbits come out. Breakfast milk is squeezed and cooked. We have eaten three meals in total. Freshly cooked, coffee is freshly ground! There are lambs for free to take pictures! There is also archery! Riding is also worth it, you don't have to be afraid of the whole process, and you can charge by car! When we lived, the grass seeds had not grown, and the grass around the follow-up camp would be more beautiful. The boss staff service is very good, warm and thoughtful, we drove to change the itinerary and accidentally booked this very big surprise! Very highly recommended! If it is not for the follow-up itinerary, it is definitely more than one day, it is very suitable to slow down and stay here for two days to feel good!

The room is nice, the yard is clean, there is a garden, an area for drying clothes, a restaurant, and there is a front desk guy who is almost my grandfather's age, and he is very smooth when checking in. Seeing that he is older, he is super enthusiastic to help a few of us carry our luggage! ! ! ! Being warmed! Starry Sky Room is really recommended! You can really see the stars at night. The only thing is that you are woken up by the dazzling sunlight in the middle of your sleep! (I tried to pass the test at night and couldn’t do it because it was too late, so I didn’t bother)

TTravis and ElishaWow! What an amazing place to stay and how lucky we were to find it. By far the best place we stayed in China. Mrs. Li (the owner) was so genuinely nice and caring, and we felt like part of the family staying there. One of my favorite things in Kashgar was hanging out with her and her family in the evenings. She always invited us at night to hangout in the common area where she would make us tea and share her fresh and dried fruits with us. She was really good at using a translator app, so we were able to have a good conversation with her through that. She has a great little family. Her son speaks good English and was also very nice. She had a young daughter who also speaks English, but is more shy with it (though she will sing you a Taylor Swift song..she has a great voice). They have 3 cats and the youngest one, little tiger, is just the sweetest and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It was such a good and warm feeling to stay there. We definitely wish we could visit again. A home away from home. And we were treated so generously in more ways than we can write here. Mrs. Li asked us right away if there was anything she could help us with, without us having to ask, which we really appreciated, and she took the time to sit down with us to go over our plans. She let us store our luggage for 3 days and walked us out to help us get a taxi when we departed. While it was the family that made it simply amazing, some might also be interested in the following information. The location is great. On a quiet street. Close to the big mosque which is a good landmark to use to find the area. And of course close to the old city. It's also really close to the biggest supermarket we have found thus far in China (we have to admit it was nice to get a few ”luxuries” from home like cereal and hot chocolate). The guesthouse is cute and has a Central Asian feel. The shower works great and is hot. We were there in the winter, and the room has heat if you needed it. Mrs. Li was able to arrange a driver for us to go to Tashkorgun and the Karakorum Highway, which was super helpful. The place was nice and clean. Thank you so much Mrs. Li! You will be a highlight of our visit to China and will be remembered in our hearts forever. -Travis and Elisha (Colorado, USA) PS: when we get home I'm going to try to write up a bit about our trip on Tripadvisor because I couldn't find anything about Kashgar on trip advisor since covid, and some things have changed, so I thought it might be helpful for fellow travelers, so look for that.

JJill CassandraA Hidden Gem That Feels Like Coming Home Tucked away in the embrace of raw, untouched nature, MuseNomad Retreat is the kind of place that feels almost too beautiful to be real — like stepping into a postcard. Yet behind the picture-perfect setting is something even more special: the kind of warmth and care that turns a stay into a memory. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me. We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping. Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated. And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby. MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer. If you’re looking for a restful, heartfelt escape where nature, comfort, and kindness meet, this is the place. MuseNomad Retreat is not just somewhere we stayed — it’s somewhere we’ll remember fondly, and miss dearly.

YYigedataoziFacilities: Pretty good, the amenities were thoughtfully prepared. Cleanliness: Very good, the overall cleanliness was impressive. Environment: You can see snow-capped mountains right outside, so the location is great. There's a big uphill slope, which can be a bit tiring. But when you check out, the owner will drive you to the station, which is very considerate and wonderful! Service: Excellent! The breakfast was delicious.

GGuest UserIf you go to Hemu, I strongly recommend this accommodation. The young B&B staff are considerate and thoughtful, which makes me feel that they are taking care of this B&B seriously. The free breakfast is not perfunctory and the coffee is delicious. Especially their rooms are all equipped with Parma products. If you have requirements for accommodation, Yijing is still a good choice. I don't write reviews very often, but this B&B managed by young people deserves my praise.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived at the camp, Xiao Ping was already waiting for us. He was wearing the camp's uniform, looked quite energetic, and had a very genuine smile – not one of those fake, professional ones. His first words immediately put us at ease: “Rough journey, wasn't it? Just leave your luggage to me.” Without another word, he quickly took our several large suitcases. As he led us to our tent, he clearly and concisely explained everything about the camp: where the restrooms were, hot water timings, and meal arrangements. There was no unnecessary chatter; it all sounded very reassuring. The next morning, as soon as I stepped out of the room, Xiao Ping had already sorted out breakfast for us. The overall feeling of the camp is: simple, but everything is perfectly arranged. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable (the electric blanket was even turned on in advance!), hot water was supplied on time, and the food was substantial. Behind all of this, you could feel Xiao Ping silently taking care of everything. He wasn't someone who hovered around, but it seemed he always anticipated what you needed, or if you had a question, he'd immediately appear to help. When we left, Xiao Ping insisted on helping us load all our luggage into the car and arrange it neatly. Finally, he added, “Drive safely and take care on the road.” It was a simple phrase, but coupled with his sincere eyes, it felt incredibly genuine. Even after we had driven quite a distance, we could still see him waving goodbye to us at the camp entrance. The camp is excellent for stargazing! The facilities aren't luxurious, but they have everything you need, and they're clean, practical, and well-heated. The bonfire party at night was lively, and the mini hotpot was delicious. Definitely a five-star recommendation.

LLan.NPVery friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location right in the heart of Kashgar old city. The lobby is a bit dark, entrance stair case looks not very welcoming. The hotel had allowed us to leave our luggage on the night we were out. That help us a lot. We love our stay there and love Kashgar with its culture and peoples.

GGuest UserI stayed two nights, trying both a triple room and a family room. I found the family room to be larger and more comfortable, with a larger bathroom and washroom. The family room was clean, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. The surroundings were quiet and noise-free, parking was convenient, and the hostess was welcoming and attentive. It was a truly wonderful experience.

ZZhizidelvxingyoujiFacilities: A new homestay opened only last year. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners, humidifiers, etc., and everything is complete. Hygiene: The cleaning and breakfast are done by the mother of the homestay owner. They are very clean. It is not the peak season yet, and they have just started business. In the past two days, I saw the aunt busy cleaning up in every room. Environment: The landlord himself is a garden designer. The overall style of the house is very strong in the style of folk houses. You can feel a great feeling when you enter the gate of the yard. Service: Breakfast is made every day, and you eat in the yard when you get up. The aunt and the owner of the homestay are also very easy-going. National costume experience (no shooting): There are many clothes, and the skirt of Adles is very beautiful. 🈶 The matching belt, accessories, headdress, and equipment are good for filming. Surroundings: The surroundings are all ethnic minorities. In the Kazanqi scenic area, you don’t need to check in at the north gate. There are all beautiful and sparsely populated characteristic houses here. There are also fruit shops, naan shops, etc. in front of the door. Walking in the alley feels like a stranger. It’s a wonderful experience. A large portion of mutton dumplings costs 14 yuan, and a cup of freshly squeezed mango juice costs 6 yuan.
