We were passing through from Beijing to Xinjiang and stayed for one night. It was very suitable for a stopover, the environment was very good and quiet. There was a little hair in the room, but considering the folk customs and the surrounding environment, it was already very good, just a little bit. My family and I checked in at around 3 pm, and between 6 o'clock in the evening, two groups of people actually opened my door directly. The first one was the cleaning lady. She didn't knock on the door, but swiped her card to come in. I guess she thought the room wasn't cleaned yet. Then I locked the door from inside. An hour later, the front desk staff brought another group of guests to check in, and opened the door at once. I was scared to death. Of course, I could tell they didn't do it on purpose, and they closed it immediately when they saw someone in the room. The scary thing was that I had locked the door from the inside, so I quickly went to the front desk and asked them to confirm with the system that the room had been occupied and not to open the door again. When I go to bed at night, I always block the door with two boxes. Everything else was good, the food was good, the environment was good, but this little episode was a bit scary.
It was a very good accommodation experience. The hotel owner really put a lot of effort into the decoration. The room facilities are also very unique. I just don't understand why the bathroom has no door and a cloth curtain. Is this a special decoration concept or is it to save money? I hope I can still stay at this price during the peak tourist season.
Traveling with my family, the cabin, environment and service are very satisfactory. Breakfast confirmed the time and drinks in advance, and took us snack packages. Our family is satisfied with the accommodation as a whole. The alley behind can walk to the plank road in the forest. Now if there is sun during the day, the second floor will be hotter. The wooden house does not have air conditioning but has a fan, so you need to pay attention before booking.
Although the parent-child room is small in size, the design is reasonable. The big bed and bunk bed are distributed on both sides of the bathroom, which is equivalent to splitting two rooms. It is only 10 minutes drive from the entrance of the Kurdish Ningzhonggou. The key price is particularly high. The Kurdish Ning ticket is also presented. The front desk enters the license plate information and number of people. The name of the homestay is reported at the entrance of the scenic spot. The staff immediately put it in. Generally, I can book hotels and not book homestays when I travel. This is also a certain homestay in Xinjiang. I am very satisfied. I recommend staying here when I play Kurdish Ning!
A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Coming Home
Tucked away in the embrace of raw, untouched nature, MuseNomad Retreat is the kind of place that feels almost too beautiful to be real — like stepping into a postcard. Yet behind the picture-perfect setting is something even more special: the kind of warmth and care that turns a stay into a memory.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me.
We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping.
Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated.
And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby.
MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer.
If you’re looking for a restful, heartfelt escape where nature, comfort, and kindness meet, this is the place. MuseNomad Retreat is not just somewhere we stayed — it’s somewhere we’ll remember fondly, and miss dearly.
The courtyard is beautiful and sitting is very comfortable.
Facilities: Need to be improved. Halfway through the shower, there was suddenly only hot water but no cold water. It was embarrassing to wait for a long time. The toilet has a pungent smell and the windows need to be turned on all the time. The mattress is on the hard side.
Environment: good. When I walked out of the B&B, I discovered that the small courtyard was simply a paradise.
Service: The barbecue restaurant recommended by the boss is quite delicious.
I took my baby and family to Yili for a trip during the summer vacation. I heard that Xiata has beautiful scenery, but I didn't know it is so beautiful. The scenery along the way is like a desktop. My family is very satisfied with the hotel accommodation. The hotel is very considerate. Seeing that I have a lot of luggage, they helped me put it in the elevator and prepared mosquito repellent stickers for the baby. I take my children to travel twice a year. The overall feeling of this homestay is similar to that of a 4-star hotel in the mainland. It's no exaggeration! I feel like I've made a good deal, and next time I visit Xinjiang, I'll choose this B&B as my first choice! Recommended to everyone, you will know how comfortable it is after living here! The baby had a lot of fun playing here. Great! They even put my dirty clothes in the laundry room and washed them. I was really touched! Generally do not write reviews Recommended!
In fact, it is a distinctive holiday homestay. The design of the forest cabin can satisfy the romantic desire and yearning of the counterpart crowds in the countryside, but for another part of the people, they may feel that they are remote and inconvenient to travel. I probably belong to the former and drive by car. Staying for one night is a good experience, the room hygiene should be said to be done well, the facilities are also good, at least a dozen degrees of night there is warm air conditioning to ensure sleep, yes, here is super quiet! It can disturb the guests about birds and streams, i people gospel, breakfast tea eggs are very good! There are also shortcomings that have to be said, the water flow is too small! Reference some scenic spots to prevent tourists from wasting water and deliberately adjust the water pipe to a trickle!
This trip to travel accommodation chose the right place, haha, get off the bus and see the beautiful sunset, walk into the hotel's wide lobby is clean and tidy, there is a delicious dinner, and we have a rich breakfast in the morning. The indoor room is large and there is a large terrace outside. The children are very happy. It makes me feel very comfortable to see the grassland. The little sister in the store is very caring and enthusiastic. The boss is really attentive and will come again next time.

AApril‘Mother1. Location: In the west of the ancient city, very close to a gate of the ancient city. Then go out of this gate, cross the road, and walk a short distance to the right to reach Nuolan Hotel, a relatively good local restaurant with many locals. The hotel is decorated very distinctively and the service attitude is good. I ate roasted pigeon, lamb skewers, pepper chicken, strawberry milkshake, etc. I think the taste is quite good 😄. There is also an ancient city performance downstairs at 7 o'clock in the evening.
2. Room: The room is very clean, the bedding is comfortable, and I like the layout very much. The bed is against the window. When you open the window, you can see the ancient city street. The sun shines in and it is very warm.
3. The boss: very enthusiastic, and also invited us to eat the dates grown by ourselves, which are very delicious. There are also two cute cats.
Our girl likes this homestay very much 😄, and is vying to write a review.
Kashgar is a place worth visiting again. Next time, I will choose Qingfeng Yage

TTuscany RoseThis hotel is not perfect but overall I had an amazing stay.
First, the woman on reception is very friendly and helpful. She let me check in early as I arrived from Urumqi at 8am. Thanks to her I was able to get a good sleep before I started exploring the old town. She even gave me yogurt and granola so I wouldn't have an empty stomach. Despite the language barrier, she was patient with me and was always willing to help.
The location could not get any better. It's inside the ancient town so you can easily walk to shops, restaurants and cafes. Cars are not allowed in the ancient city but that wasn't a problem -the hotel is roughly a 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the old town so it's very convenient to walk there to take a taxi, find a bus stop etc.
The decor of the entire hotel is beautiful and fits in very well with the asthetic of the old town. I just wish the communal areas on the roof top was better maintained. It is starting to look a bit shabby.
Overall I was happy with my room but there are some things I wasn't pleased about. First, apart from the tables on both sides of the bed, the other cabinets in the room were for show -they don't actually open, meaning there is very little storage space. Also, I like having a window I'm my room so I can feel less claustrophobic. I paid extra for a courtyard view. That's because I wanted to see the courtyard. However, I opened the curtain, and I found out that the windows are opaque. I opened the windows as far as I could without banging the TV, and there's a barrier over the windows. I understand they have these measures for privacy but in my opinions, curtains are enough. That definitely dampened my experience. Lastly, the walls are extremely thin, meaning almost every night I was woken up by other people making noise in the courtyard.
Overall I am happy with my experience and I would book here again next time I visit Kashgar, but I would book a room with a city view instead for the reasons mentioned above.
GGuest UserThe room was cleaned very cleanly. It is worth mentioning that the pillows are soft and hard, unlike the soft pillows in many hotels and homestays. I slept very well in Taoyuan.
Winter is cold and dry. The indoor air conditioning and floor heating are sufficient. Just in case, there is also an electric heater. The socks were dried in two hours. There is also a humidifier. Although it is a drop in the bucket, it makes people feel very comfortable.
The housekeeper kindly gave directions to the parking space and helped to carry the box. The front desk also provides breakfast and coffee afternoon tea, and the quality is also very good.
A few suggestions: It is easy to forget to draw the curtains when checking in at night because it is dark outside. I hope the store will replace the main window with a gauze curtain to protect the privacy of guests.
It is not reasonable to manually draw the window in the shower room. It is recommended to at least apply a frosted film. After all, the window faces the main road. For guests who value privacy, even a slight gap will feel bad.
Overall, it is a very good living experience!
DDuoduomumuYining is our favorite city overall. There are fruit trees all around the road. Apple trees, cherry trees, apricot trees, and most importantly, they are all mulberry trees. You can experience the fun of eating mulberries while walking!
The owner of the B&B is really warm and welcoming. The room decoration and design are also very good. The breakfast made by the aunt in the morning is also delicious. The whole small garden is very beautiful!
Also remember to ask the proprietress for tips and recommendations on local restaurants! Don’t go to the so-called internet celebrity check-in spots
GGuest UserThis is the second day of staying here, and the overall feeling is really good: 1. The boss is very enthusiastic and warm. 2. Good location, convenient for taking public transportation. 3. Very close to Liuxing Street, with plenty of food and entertainment. 4. Although the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, fortunately the boss is nice, the location is good, the room is big and has good lighting!
GGuest UserMy family of 4 had the best stay at this hotel!
When we arrived, the staff stood by the door and greeted us warmly. As the weather fell to extreme lows during the period we were staying there, the heater was unable to keep the tents warm enough. As such, the staff graciously upgraded us to a family room inside the building. The view was absolutely stunning from the room. When the sky is clear, you can even see stars from their rooftop! The room itself was extremely clean and tidy, while the bathroom was very well equipped. The beds were large and extremely comfortable, and there was even a humidifier in the room which was perfect for the cold and dry weather.
The service of the staff was exceptional. My husband and son experienced altitude sickness upon our arrival at the hotel, and they took extremely great care of them, even cooking them a warm meal. They even provided us with snacks before we left for our day trip. On our last night, they invited us to have dinner together. The staff prepared a home-cooked meal which was very delicious. During the duration of our stay, the staff took exceptional care of us and made us feel at home. Even as we checked out, they gave us a farewell gift as a token of appreciation.
I highly recommend this hotel to all travellers! This was truly a great stay, and thank you to the staff who was committed to ensuring that my family had an amazing stay here!
TTinkerbell1723Nice hostel, but there’s one employee who doesn’t want to work that spoils the impression of the hostel. I booked this hostel for a friend (Chinese) and myself (foreigner). We booked the beds online and immediately called the hostel to reserve two lower beds which they confirmed (I have back problems and need a lower bed). We arrived in the evening to be met by one employee (I’ll call him employee 1) who said that foreigners aren’t allowed although it’s very clearly stated on Trip that they are allowed. He then proceeds to call another employee (employee 2) who then checks us in without problems. We get then shown the room by employee 1 and there are only upper beds left. After saying that we reserved two bottom beds employee 1 says that the beds are taken on a first come first serve basis so bad luck for us and then walks away. Very rude and a complete disregard to a guest’s need We then have a talk to employee 2 and he provides a solution we are happy with! Employee 2 is a great guy who actually wants to work and make this hostel a better place and employee 1 is lazy as they come and should be fired (and perhaps work somewhere where he doesn’t need to be in a customer facing role). Apart from this, the hostel is small but clean and with a simple kitchen and living room. Not expensive either!
GGuest UserThe facilities are complete and clean. The most important thing is that the boss is very nice and the service is considerate, just like family. Free pick-up and drop-off to the scenic spot, thank you very much 😊, the second floor of the homestay can also be used for cooling off, overlooking the alpine meadows, the geographical location is excellent. I will definitely come again next time or recommend it to relatives and friends.
GGuest UserVery clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Lacked in amenities - no normal towels provided, No couch or table to use for sitting or eating. Only the bed with one pillow per guest was provided for all your needs. Even though I personally had no use for Chinese tv , it did not have one. Even though it is a new building the large space had rather Awkward layout with toilet lack of privacy and door hitting the commode when opening more than halfway.
Great, friendly and enthusiastic staff more than make up for the physical shortcomings however. We enjoyed our space. Being a new hotel, I am sure they can use my observations constructively and improve their facilities.
