It's the best inn.
The dumplings made and sold by my mother who runs here are really delicious and were the best of the dumplings I've ever eaten. Even the skin of the dumplings is handmade ๐ฅโจ
The room and the water are all beautiful. At night, you can see the starry sky all over the sky!
I want to use it again
This is a newly built family hotel run by a local old couple. Very clean. The breakfast and dinner were great and very hearty. We stayed for six nights and there was no heavy sample. There is a public bath downstairs, skiing back to take a hot bath, and then a hearty dinner is very pleasant.
It is about three kilometers away from Miaogao Plateau Station and the same distance from Akacang Hot Spring Ski Resort. There are buses outside the hotel to the above two places. There is a bus to Akacang Hot Spring Ski Resort at 8:24 in the morning and a bus to Akacang Hot Spring Ski Resort at 4:20 in the afternoon. The traffic is very convenient.
Excellent guesthouse with excellent hosts. Had everything I needed, a room to sleep, a mini bath house, and they served delicious breakfast and dinner. Close to snow resort and shuttle bus service. Would stay again.
I had a fantastic stay at Alto Piano. The owner and his mum provided exceptional service and cooked a 4 course western meal for me every night. The food was delicious. Owner also dropped me

AAnonymous UserHotel has good heating so perfect for winter stay. Nice fireplace area and nice holding area before stepping out into the cold. The hotel is down a hill from the main thoroughfare. A bit slippery downhill when it becomes icy. Run like a hotel so maybe a bit cold compared to a bed and breakfast. Onsen bath seems a bit dirty with things floating in there compared to other hotels we stayed at. We needed to move to another hotel which is 2km away and the guy offered to drive us there for 2000 yen! Just 1 luggage each and no skis. So on the whole just cold. Breakfast was 1000 yen seemed simple so we skipped and opted to eat in town instead. Probably won't stay there again.
KKatieKeiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours.
The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable.
Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!
YyeoGreat stay at a Japanese bed and breakfast style accomodation. Owners are an elderly Japanese couple who speaks average English but we get by. Free transport to and fro ski slopes even though they are a 1.2 km walk away from Akakura Onsen main street. Owner was also kind enough to drive us to the train station for our rest day from snowboard. Breakfast was great! Room had attached toilets and were super clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will stay here again next time I come to Myoko Kogen
AAnonymous UserVery friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible despite minimal English and our non existent Japanese. They kindly kept our bags after checkout and we could leave electric bikes there overnight.

JJamesThere's a rental for ski/snowboard equipment which quite comfortable.
The staff have a sense of service-mindedness. Although their English is not fluent but they try hard to communicate.
Wwong mingheiThe proprietress's service attitude is very good, the response is also very fast and friendly, but the staff is not good
The location is very close to the ski resort, suitable for families to choose to live recommended
GGuest UserCome to Ishida Maruyama to ski. The hotel is a 6-minute walk from the cable car. It is a Japanese-style hotel. The floor is comfortable with mattresses, sheets and quilts. There is a small indoor washbasin and a public toilet. The drying room for storing ski equipment is very warm! The meals are quite exquisite, but not enough for those with large appetites. There are time requirements for the indoor pool. After checking out, I asked for a shower after skiing. The boss lady said that there would be an extra charge, which was a bit unkind! The boss lady was very enthusiastic! To go to the hotel, you must take the green A-line free bus from Echigo Yuzawa Station, get off at Ishiguchi Station, and go up the slope on the left!
