View from the apartment was amazing and just need to look through the window and you see the blue sky and ocean. Just that the apartment they gave us has 3 rooms and if you book 2 rooms they will locked up the one of the room. The issue is that when we checked in they just let the 3rd room open and we thought we could used it until the security guard came and knock the door and said he has to lock up one of the rooms.

Booking process was quite smooth and easy. The place nearby was quite happening for place to eat The room was clean But I believe it is an office modified to become a room to stay. Therefore it was very quiet outside of office hours. I found it awkward as it did not represent the vibe either an apartment or hotel.

Paying the deposit was a hassle. Hong Kong banks can't directly transfer, and WeChat Pay, which is required, isn't usable in Hong Kong. I ended up having to ask a friend in mainland China to pay it. To make matters worse, they can't refund it to the original WeChat account, insisting on sending it to a Hong Kong bank account instead. The only upside was that it was refunded to my HK account on the day of check-out. Getting the key was an adventure; I had to go down a flight of stairs to the parking lot mailbox, which felt a bit spooky. Luckily, it was still near dusk, so it wasn't too dark. The two TVs could be turned on but didn't receive any channels. In both rooms, we had to set the AC to 16 degrees and use a fan to get it cool enough. The living room, even with a fan, remained quite warm. The bathroom shower was only an overhead one, and controlling the hot and cold water was tricky. Thankfully, the water pressure was good. The drain was a bit slow, almost clogged, and one of the sinks wouldn't drain at all. Good thing there were two sinks. The floor looked a bit dirty, and overall, the facilities seemed poorly maintained. I hope they improve the equipment. The only positives were the excellent view from the window, perfect for sunrises and sunsets! There are plenty of restaurants downstairs and three convenience stores. Transportation is convenient, with Grab rides costing 10-15 MYR to places like Mural Street and the night market, and about 30 MYR to farther attractions like Penang Hill and Kek Lok Si Temple.

It is a very best hotel so far. Nice room with king and single size bed for a family room. The toilet is quiet spacious and water also very heavy, good to shower. Room is clean, and also a nice view at the main entrance. Will stay here soon later.

I had a wonderful stay at this service apartment and would happily return. The location was ideal—close to major attractions and easy to get around—yet still quiet and relaxing. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and a high level of comfort. I would recommend it to both business and leisure travellers.

Very new building along Macalister which is a foodie stretch. The room had most things we needed. Only missing the laundry machine. Comfortable size for 4 guests. The sunrise view was stunning, can also see the sea from afar. We drove and parking was adequate. Mostly on 5th flr up. Checking in was effortless as there's a reception that handles the issue or keys n return. It's like a hotel. Even though there's only 4 lifts serving 30+ floors, we didn't't have to wait too long each time. Do check out the pool even if you are not swimming as the day and night views are amazing. Worth a stay just for the view. Hopefully the standard can be maintained.

The location is convenient for visiting morning markets, night markets, and durian stalls. It's a bit far to walk into George Town, so taking a taxi is the best option. The bedding and towels are clean and comfortable. The renovation smell varies among the three rooms, it's a matter of luck. The room my parents stayed in had a strong, eye-stinging smell when they first entered, but it became less noticeable after ventilation and air conditioning. The sink in the hallway had severe backflow and a terrible smell, so we basically didn't use it. We kept the stopper in and let it soak to block the odor. They don't clean the room unless you specifically ask the front desk. A deposit is required, and since we didn't have Malaysian Ringgit, we paid in RMB. Check-out was very slow, as they needed to inspect the room. When we checked out early in the morning, we were the only ones, and it took half an hour to complete the whole process for three rooms. In Malaysia, people typically go barefoot indoors, so no slippers are provided. If you don't like that, you'll need to bring your own.

22 Macalister is located right in the city center, and the 36th floor offers the most beautiful views for everyone, regardless of age. The swimming pool and gym are perfect for families. It's also a very strategic location, making it easy to get around with the family.

Always a reliable and aesthetic place to explore Penang from. Clean, comfortable rooms and shared kitchen space to prepare food (fridge, microwave, water dispenser, no pots and pans though). Free use of washer and dryer! Recently started providing free simple breakfast of bread and coffee/tea. Walkable to many places in the area including cafes, a thrift shop, motor rental and mosque 🕌

It was a nice and hassle free stay. The place was very clean and nicely maintained. I would recommend this place to my friends and families.
