Good location where near to the KK International Airport, around 7-8 minutes by grab's car. Very good service and clean room. Will choose to stay again next time. Recommended!

Simple budget lodge situated not far from town area, it is walkable, and if want to take a Grab, it's just 4 minutes from the town area. There is a supermarket nearby with some simple eateries. Reception is helpful with the requests made. There is no fridge or electric kettle in the room, however, you can get hot water at the reception. The room is generally clean however the stairway could do a little more cleaning as it was always dusty.

The Customer service serve is good , fast respond and everything in details. Location is good can found Food nearby . But room is not fully clean there’s a little dust on the floor and table . What I’m not satisfied is there’s little blood stain on the bed sheet which the things can clean after wash and they charge me for that .

Overall, our stay was okay. The room was clean, and the facilities were decent. However, we were disappointed by the loud noise coming from other rooms at 3 AM, which disrupted our sleep. It would be great if the hotel could improve soundproofing or enforce quiet hours more strictly. Other than that, the experience was fine.

The chalet is a good size although it was really not sound proof as you could hear conversations clearly from the neighbours. The morning mountain view from the chalet is magnificent. The restaurant is decent for Kundasang. Little irritation that the bathroom is water logged after use.

Restaurant food is great. Room temperature is fine around 18-22c Room weather is too wet Dehumidifier or AC is needed, but not provided. No room internet WiFi and lack of power plugs / USB plugs for mobile devices charges.

Our host showed us to the room and explained all. Air conditioning units were very good and quiet at night. We didn't watch much TV but it was in perfect condition. Some may say the bed is hard but for me I slept perfectly. Being on the waterfront we had access to all restaurant's cafes and shops. The negatives would be the drain in the kitchen and the bathroom. I suspect these drains are not sanitised. I overcame this problem by putting the bathmat over one and a bin over the other. This negated the smell. Plenty of storage and also a pull out couch for a small child.

The only suggestion is why not providing WIFI, and the toilet ventilation can be improved, have no idea after toilet flushing, the sting smell stay. The staffs are nice and the hotel is clean! Located next to the main attractions of Poring, the hotel provide a pleasant stay for the night. Note that you will have to share the living area and washroom with other people living in the facility.

The room was spotless, with a cold and efficient air conditioning system. It was fully equipped with household essentials, making the stay comfortable and convenient. Parking was available, adding to the ease of access. Overall, an excellent experience!

We stayed in room B-15-3A on the 15th floor. The room has 2 bedrooms, 2 1.5-inch beds and 1 1.5-inch sofa bed. It was spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us, but it was very dirty!!! If you are very concerned about hygiene, don't choose this room, it's really dirty!!! The sofa has a strong foot and sweat odor!! Note that the whole sofa is very smelly!!! The bed is a tatami made of bricks, and I don't know why there are so many ants!!! There is no insecticide in the room, and the toilet has no sanitation tools. We stayed for 13 days and couldn't check out the room. It was really uncomfortable! There were insect bites all over my feet!! There is a dining table, which is large enough for 8 people of normal size. The tableware is complete, including a frying pan for frying eggs, a milk pan for cooking noodles, and a spatula. We went to the first floor of Pacific Shopping Plaza and bought an old-fashioned rice cooker, which is very cheap and suitable for steaming dishes. The location is convenient to Gaya Street, 500 meters away, and across from Kota Kinabalu City. The underground floor is Penang Supermarket, where you can buy everything, but it is not as cheap as Pacific Shopping Center. The same rice cooker costs 155 Malaysian ringgits, while Pacific Shopping Center only costs 115 Malaysian ringgits. I took a photo, and you can see for yourself that the photo is the hotel + Pacific rice cooker + Penguin-style Mixue Ice City on the first floor of Kota Kinabalu City opposite + Daqielai dishes. This homestay is very good except for hygiene, so I am going to choose to book a room with another owner in this building. After staying here, I understand why the rating is not high! I will give you 5 stars, but I have to tell the truth!

Because we arrived on an early flight and had a few hours before check-in, Ziyin provided us with free luggage storage service. The room was in a very good location, neat and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Facing the sea, you can enjoy the sunset. You can walk to the pier in two minutes. It is close to Gaya Street and you can eat a lot of local food. There is a swimming pool on the 7th floor, and the swimming pool is very clean. Highly recommended and will stay again next time.

We extended our stay at the Loft for one day as this was very convenient for us to have a cost effective place for our day trips as family. Still the rooms have very limited furniture and the kitchen would require some more equipment like cups, plates… The view from the balcony is actually quite nice. If you are light sleeper and dislike landing airplanes, you may chose another location since the apartment is in the direct landing path of the airport.

The external environment is average, and the interior is clean and tidy! The service was thoughtful and timely.

Stay here a night before flight next day back to KL. Surrounding is quite deserted so if alone just becareful. Front desk is friendly. Its a budget hotel so quite reasonably humble. Good for short stay prior flight the next day

Place is well maintained. Overall clean and nice The staff and the owner are kind The place if you stay is in 2nd story, if you have heavy bag it could be a nightmare. The power outlet is not 220v so u need your converter. The lights are a bit too dim for my taste

It's really worth choosing Banyan Tree Villa Hotel for this trip to Semporna! As soon as I got off the car, someone greeted me. Check-in was super fast. The housekeeper also helped me plan the itinerary, which was very considerate. The room faces the sea, and I am awakened by the beautiful sea view every day. The courtyard of the homestay is 3km away from the city, and it costs 5-7 Malaysian ringgits to take a taxi (Malays occasionally increase the price temporarily during peak hours, and it is 5-7 Malaysian ringgits if you don't agree) There are supermarkets and some residential shops and restaurants nearby. There are simple fried noodles and fried rice, which are good value for money. The night market stalls are also good, but I like spicy food and think their rice is sweet. Foodies can go and try it by themselves. This homestay is very suitable for divers to stop and stay temporarily. The boss will send everyone to the pier at 8 am every day and pick everyone up at 5 pm. The boss can also report the itinerary and take the diving course here. You can go there for consultation. The price is not high. When I booked the room, I saw bad reviews in the comment area. After staying in the homestay for 8 days, I concluded: This homestay is not a hotel. My friend and me booked 2 rooms in total and stayed 4 nights in. Opposite 7 inn there is Basar malam, a Mcdonald, a cafe opposite and a gas station with mini mart, living here is convenient. However it’s a bit far to the harbour by 1km. So, they provide free transport to any potion of the town area, just WhatsApp the driver and he always turn up to pick up us on time! We called at least 5 times of pick up service as considering 7 inn was around 1km from harbour that every excursion starts so by walking it will be 10-15 mins. The container room is spacious with a lovely balcony with 2 chairs. Shared toilet and shower is located at each storey and with like 3 showers and 3 WCs. Bed is spacious and with good pillow and mattress always make me fall asleep easily. In general, I do appreciate 7 inn although I did not encounter many tourists during my stay due to Covid and the entire semporna looks still not yet recovered to before. By the way, 7 inn do not provide drying cloth service but they will send you to a nearby laundry to do washing and drying if you need it. This is very important as our clothes are unable to dry up during our entire stay although 2 of the 4 days are sunny day…

First of all! The boss is very nice. He will add you on WeChat in advance to let you know and will help you a lot. What a generous boyhhh. The second is my kakak, a young lady working at the B&B. She is really nice and eager to help me. We chatted together. I was really happy to stay at Grapefruit! Secondly, the actual situation, Semporna itself is not big, so it is not bad to walk to the pier, and the room is also clean. I think it is pretty good. There is nothing to complain about. I am very happy 🥳 (There is hot water, sockets, no need to convert plugs! Air conditioning and other things are all there! The room is also very clean, anyway, I think it is OK! The boss and Kakak are also very enthusiastic! Really!)

The triple room is on the first floor with a private bathroom, and it is cost-effective. The inn is a 10-minute walk from the pier and a 5-minute walk from dozo. The location is very good. The front desk of the inn is friendly. There is a super cute cat in the inn, and you can pet the cat every day. Hahaha 😆. Semporna is so beautiful. We went out to sea for three days and had a lot of fun.

We did not expect such a small private property of hotel with this cheap price can provide so lovely and clean room , room is super clean , not very big but enough for 2 person and with all basic equipment that u need , simple breakfast and helpful staff , everything is good , will come back again if have chance .

The room is nice and cost-effective. There is a kitchen on the third floor where you can cook. The washing machine is also on the third floor. If you have any questions, the guy will reply quickly. On the way back, he helped us contact the car back to Tawau. We signed up for the Conch Island hopping tour with him. The experience was very good throughout the day! ! !
