ccchung123I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel was clean and tidy overall, and the staff were enthusiastic and polite throughout, responding promptly to any requests. The room I stayed in this time was much more spacious than last time, with plenty of room to move around, making for a particularly comfortable stay. Downstairs, there's a bustling food street with a wide variety of options for all three meals and late-night snacks, making it incredibly convenient to find food. The location is excellent, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip.

This is the 12th hostel I've stayed at in China, and I spent 6 days here during my Guizhou trip. It's a place with very clear pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Convenient location: It's within walking distance of Qingyun Market, the Ethnic Minorities Museum is just across the street, there's a Walmart right by the subway entrance for supplies, and a really good massage place in the Broadcast and Television Compound.
2. Fair price: The rates didn't even increase during a concert period.
3. Responsive host: The host was always accommodating and quick to respond.
Cons:
1. Small space: Both the 4-bed dorm room and the bathroom/shower area were very cramped. No wet/dry separation. Due to the small space, there are no lockers inside the room; they are in the main hall.
2. General hygiene: It was just okay. For example, under the mattresses, there were countless 'treasures' left by previous guests, and there were always hairs in the sink.
3. Public areas: No curfew and no smoking ban.
Suggestions for the owner:
1. When guests check in, the host could briefly introduce the common area facilities, such as the laundry room and where the lockers are.
2. The hot/cold labels on the shower faucet in the women's bathroom are completely reversed. Please fix them or put up a clear sign on the wall. Also, regularly inspect and maintain all facilities.
3. Some mattresses are too thin, like lying on a board, while others are too thick, making it hard to sit up straight without hitting your head when getting in and out of bed. The mattresses vary between beds. I suggest replacing them all with a moderate thickness.
4. There are gaps around the edges of the mattresses where things can easily fall. Please check around the mattresses for any lost 'treasures' after guests check out.
5. Implement rules for public areas, such as no loud music or shouting after a certain hour.

theunaprincessaAmazing hostel! Super clean, kind staff, a lot of space in the common areas! You can also watch a film on a projector (I couldn't figure it out as I don't speak Chinese), read something, or have a drink at the bar. It was surprisingly quiet. There's a locker room where you can leave your luggage. In the bathroom they also provide scrunchies and cleansing wipes, and in the room you've got a disposable towel for each day plus a toothbrush+toothpaste set. They've got decently priced local snacks and souvenirs (eg. magnets and pins), which is great! Location-wise, it's very close to the station (around 10 yuen taxi to Guiyangbei railway station), downstairs there's a mini market, and if you walk around the block, you'll see a lot of food places (open even late at night). There are no signs showing where the hotel is so when the taxi drops you off, find a lift (outside the building) and go to the 3rd floor. I do recommend it a lot! :)

We had a lovely stay with this kind young family. Our favourite part was eating a delicious dinner with the family around their wood fire, we will fondly remember this. (Make sure to reserve dinner with them as the restaurants in the village close at night in winter, also it's much nicer to eat as a family). We communicated with translation apps and learned a lot about the village life and culture. The wife kindly opened her shop out of hours for us too. Remember to bring thermal clothes for the mountain at night time. In the morning we found a delicious and modern coffee shop in the square with the pond. In December the welcome ceremony was at 11am at the village entrance with a show at 11.30am outside the museum. Thank you again to this lovely family for hosting us, we had a fabulous time together.

Guest UserSimple hostel, serve its purpose for an affordable stay. I stayed in single room with attached bathroom. Excellent location, easy to reach from the train station and easy to go to all the sightseeing places. Boss is very helpful with directions and recommendations for sightseeing. He’s very approachable and kind. Wake up early and be rewarded with a beautiful sunrise just outside the hostel. Would highly recommend.

Location: The guesthouse is conveniently located very close to the scenic area's entrance and was easy to find using navigation. The surrounding area is also pleasantly quiet.
Service: The owners are incredibly warm and hospitable. They proactively offered detailed sightseeing routes for Xiaoqikong and even treated guests to complimentary homemade bayberry juice.
Facilities: The room itself is very cozy. While the mattress was a bit firm, they thoughtfully provided both high and low pillows. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with both a squat toilet and a Western-style toilet. The only minor drawback is the lack of an elevator.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was remarkable, standing out among all the hotels and guesthouses we've stayed in recently.

Guest User1. The location is excellent, right next to the subway exit. I'd suggest the owner add a sign with the hotel name, an arrow, and the floor number at the ground floor entrance to make it easier for guests to find.
2. The room was great! Though I nearly fell down the stairs the first time I used them 🥲. Maybe the owner could install a handrail.
3. The bathroom was very clean and came with shower gel and shampoo. There were also disposable towels and bath towels in the room's cabinet, which was a thoughtful touch.
4. And there's a 'Cultivation Zone' (Xiu Xian Qu) – haha, the owner is so good at naming things! The top-floor glass room offers a great view of Guiyang's city nightscape.
Overall, my stay was really enjoyable. The price was very reasonable, the location was superb, and the owner is handsome too 🤣 haha! If I come to Guiyang again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.
