GGuest UserWhen you come to Anshun, it is really worth staying at Guiyang Yifang Youth Hostel! The location is right next to Anshun Ancient City, making it convenient for visiting attractions and finding snacks. The Youth Hostel lobby is very large. You can rest on the sofa when you are tired and chat with other guests. It doesn’t feel stuffy at all.
The boss's sister is very enthusiastic. When asked about places for fun and delicious food, she will tell you in detail. The rooms and public areas are kept clean, making it very comfortable to live there. The price is also affordable, cost-effective, worth it!

The staff were as warm as a blazing fire, greeting me with smiles the moment I walked in. They answered all my questions and proactively helped me with little issues, which made me feel super welcome. And the quality of everything was impeccable, really top-notch. The attention to detail was impressive, clearly showing how much care was put into it. Plus, the price was incredibly reasonable, offering fantastic value for money – I felt like I got an absolute steal. The entire process was incredibly smooth, with no annoying hiccups whatsoever; everything went perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone; I'll definitely be back! 😘

MM561283****Wow, this is easily my favorite hostel I've ever stayed at! The space is huge, and the vibe is fantastic. They have a really big common area with a bar, small tables, and more, perfect for even just sitting by yourself. The toilets and showers are separate, and the restrooms are a good distance from the rooms, so you won't be bothered by hairdryer noise at night. Everyone was quite considerate, and there was no noise coming from the rooms. The beds are super wide, 1.3m, very comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. Plus, there are adorable dogs at the hostel that greeted me right when I walked in. This is genuinely the most pleasant hostel experience I've had; it really felt like hotel quality without the hotel price. Next time I'm in Guiyang, I'm definitely staying here again – I need to pet those dogs some more! 😋 (I'm not a shill, I genuinely recommend this hostel!)

MmshelomiWarm bedroom even in winter. Bunks large, with outlets, hooks, towel rack, and thick curtains. There's a shop in the lobby that's really convenient, plus a filtered water dispenser! Squat toilets with TP provided!
The location is convenient, next to a subway station and 1 subway stop from a major tourist bus station. The place is hard to find, so some instructions provided by the owner to incoming guests would save some confusion. Bedrooms are nice, but living room smells of smoke.

HHuajiaojiang101We stayed at the boss's house for three days on the recommendation of a friend. The boss and his family were very nice and they had a lot of luggage, so we had to carry it all for us. The boss's house is high up in the stockade, with a 360-degree view of the whole stockade. The scenery is better and quieter than living below. In the past three days, I have tasted the boss's menu all over. I am a picky Sichuanese and I think the craftsmanship is so good. I have three meals a day at the boss's place. Even when I go down the mountain to play, my family will not eat anything from outside. Come back and eat the boss's food. Every morning I wake up to the crowing of the rooster, go for a walk in the fields, and eat a bowl of the boss’s tomato scrambled egg noodles. Both husband and wife are hard-working people. We are grateful for meeting each other and wish the business a prosperous future!

Convenient location adjacent to the Ancient City but tucked away on a quit street allowing for peaceful rest at night. Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!

XXufujiyerongsuxintangThe environment is really great, and the common areas are very clean. The only thing is you might have to wait to shower at night, as it gets quite busy. Since many women use the showers, there can be some hair, but the cleaning staff always takes care of it first thing in the morning! Everyone is very considerate, so it's not noisy at night. You get a pair of slippers upon check-in, and there's a designated area to change your shoes. The front desk also offers tea and coffee. It's a fantastic choice for a solo trip!!

AAnonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...

The place was spotless, the bedding was clean and odorless, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The front desk service was attentive and thorough; they helped resolve any issues promptly and even enthusiastically helped us plan our travel itinerary. The common lounge area was spacious and quiet, not noisy at all, and the location was super convenient for getting around. As a new establishment, they are clearly putting a lot of effort into every aspect, and the value for money is exceptional. I highly recommend it for solo travelers and students!
