I came across a youth hostel that was everything I imagined a youth hostel to be. It's very close to both the high-speed rail station and the subway station. The owners are two people and a dog. The walls are covered with message boards, group photos, and travel guides. The beds are 1.3-meter capsules. Disposable face and bath towels are provided for showering. The clothes hanging area in the bathroom has a splash-proof curtain. The public washbasin has a very useful hair dryer. The laundry room has a clothes drying area. The dehumidifier runs 24 hours a day. From the entrance to the dormitory to the public washroom, there is a fresh and clean smell. The entrance is covered with thick carpet. There is a coffee shop and a bar downstairs. In the evening, everyone can sign up to get together to play games or watch a movie downstairs. It really felt like I was staying in the youth hostel in the anime ”Lingya Journey”. It was wonderful. I will stay here again next time I visit Guiyang.

Flashing to Anshun, I chose to stay here because I saw that this youth hostel was well decorated online. The overall experience is very good! Recommended!
1. Convenient transportation: It takes about 20 minutes to take a taxi from the high-speed rail station. I see there is also a direct bus stop. The youth hostel is located on the street, which is very convenient.
2. Geographical location: You can walk to Anshun Ancient City and Gufu Street. There are snacks and hot pot convenience stores downstairs. There is a hot pot called Tun Niang Niang, which is delicious.
3. The public area is super large: This youth hostel has the largest public area I have ever stayed in, and the public area is also very clean. You can sit on the window sill and take a nap during the day. The shadows of the trees shining in the sun are swaying and dotted with stars. It feels super nice.
4. Shared kitchen: The kitchen is provided for free heating of food, and the kitchen utensils are complete. You can feel that the quality of the guests staying is very good. The kitchen utensils are washed clean after use, which looks very comfortable.
5. The room is clean and odorless. The front desk lady took the initiative to add WeChat and send travel guides. The attitude is very good!
The hostel is super close to the Guizhou Nationalities Museum, just across the street. It's located in a building, but be warned, you have to go around to the back of the building to find the elevator. I tried calling the owner when I arrived, but they didn't answer, so I had to ask around – a bank employee and then the building's security guard – before I finally found it.
The women's restroom has two or three stalls, which was enough; I rarely had to wait. The showers are inside the restrooms, and yes, they're quite small.
The distance to Jiaxiu Tower is a bit awkward – too far to walk comfortably, but a very short bus ride. It's the same situation for the high-speed rail station.
The biggest advantage is having the museum right downstairs. It's a fantastic museum! I took the elevator straight to the 8th floor to start, then descended to the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd floors to explore, finally exiting from the second floor. In front of the museum is an imposing statue of Chairman Mao. There's also a huge drum nearby, but unfortunately, it wasn't open.
I only stayed in Guiyang for one day, heading to the train station the next morning. The night view of Jiaxiu Tower is absolutely stunning; I lingered there, captivated! It was super crowded with tourists, really packed. Unfortunately, I arrived too late and couldn't go inside Jiaxiu Tower. Well, there are always some regrets, right?
I also visited Yangming Temple (Yangming Ci). There are two temples and one monastery; I didn't go to the monastery on the mountaintop. I met a lovely woman there by chance, and we took lots of photos for each other. Many people go there just to take pictures.

It's great; the stray cats here are very well cared for. It's a very nice shop; the staff are all nice, and the kittens are very friendly. The location is convenient, but it's a little hard to find, as the hostel is located above ground, so you need to look up. Judging from the decor, this shop has been open for quite a while.
The B&B is located at the highest point of Langde Miao Village. It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus to Shangzhai before 18:00. After 18:00, you can drive into the Shangzhai parking lot. The landlord's brother and sister are very nice. They called to check on the situation and even picked up and dropped off the luggage. The view from the viewing room is very good. My brothers and sisters kept the little house clean and warm. During the National Day holiday, Langde Miao Village has dances, choruses, Lusheng performances and bonfires which are very fun. Prices are not high, and many travel photography shops charge reasonable prices. It is a very good choice for holiday travel.
Compared with Xijiang, Langde Miao Village is not big, but it still retains the customs and customs of the past. The buildings are also ancient buildings, which are very Miao village characteristics. Because it is not very popular, there are not too many people. After the bustle of the day has dissipated, Walking along the river, watching birds, fishing and shrimping, sitting on the terrace overlooking the Miao village, looking up at the stars, you can really relax. In addition, the singing maids and dancing girls in the village are very cute. Come again next time!

The room was very clean and warmly decorated. There was a shoe cabinet at the entrance, and slippers were provided. Each person in the room had a key card locker that could accommodate a backpack, but not a suitcase. I arrived early, and they gave me a free upgrade to a quadruple room.
Eating is possible in the common living room, which has sofa seating, a long table, and a bar counter. The shared bathrooms were equipped with a Xiaomi hair dryer, which was very useful.
There was also a card-operated washing machine and dryer, as well as a drying area. The amenities were quite complete, with a subway station and pedestrian street just downstairs. The location was excellent, and the value was excellent.

The room is clean and the boss is nice, but some of the people staying here have very poor manners. They don't listen to what the boss says and play games until after 3am, making a lot of noise. When I tell them to keep their voices down, they even curse at me. It's really annoying.
Charming accommodation decorated in Turkish style with exceptional service! Convenient location adjacent to the Ancient City but tucked away on a quit street allowing for peaceful rest at night. Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!

The room was very clean, the bed was clean too, and the freshly changed sheets and quilt had a light, fresh fragrance. The location was also great, with the White House and the Twin Towers right outside the window. The night view was beautiful.

The location is excellent, right off the main street in the heart of the old town. While I haven't stayed in many hostels, this one is definitely the cleanest and tidiest I've encountered. The room decor is simple and neat, and the courtyard is also clean and bright. The bathroom/shower is exceptionally clean, completely odor-free, and even the toilet bowl is sparkling white. I really appreciate that smoking is prohibited inside the hostel. The owner even pointed out designated smoking areas.

AAnonymous UserService: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter.
Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving.
Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector.
Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing.
Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...

HHaarThis hostel has everything you need. Water, shower gel, ac. On top of that the vibe in this hostel is the best I've found in china. Having travelled for about a month nowhere else has had as friendly owners and live in residents. The owner is very friendly and helpful and I definitely recommend staying at this hostel if you want to do fanjingshan because it's just a 20 minute walk to the north entrance.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, only 5 minutes away from the train station. The environment is comfortable, the price/performance ratio is very high, it is quiet, the rooms are clean and tidy, and there are humidifiers, sterilizers, washing machines, projectors and other facilities. The auntie is very enthusiastic. She turned on the air conditioner for us and gave us a bottle of water. The service attitude is really good, and it feels like home. This hotel is worth living in. If I come next time, I will choose this hotel again.
