It's a great place for solo traveller to meet others especially young people. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. They even provided free couscous for dinner. It's actually near Manzoni metro dtation, bit far from Termini. But for 1 night stay, it's okay and adequate.

I stayed at this hostel during my solo trip to Rome, and I chose a 10-bed dorm room. From the very beginning, my experience was extremely positive, mainly thanks to the amazing staff at the front desk. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. No matter what I asked—directions, transportation tips, or recommendations for sightseeing—they took the time to explain everything clearly and warmly. As a solo traveler, their friendliness made me feel safe, relaxed.

My stay at Villa Luzzatti was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming. Amenities were good overall, though there’s still some room for improvement. A great choice for solo travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

1. The elevator is quite nostalgic and unique; I didn't feel unsafe at all. It's probably one-of-a-kind globally, so the experience was fantastic.
2. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a quadruple room, which had plenty of space and a safe. However, there were no curtains, so I used a hanger to hang clothes for added privacy! 👍🏻
3. The room had a window for ventilation, which helped prevent any unpleasant odors.
4. The hostel also has common areas and a lobby with restrooms, and one shower.
Downsides:
1. The room has a combined toilet and shower, which means if someone is using it, you can't even blow-dry your hair. It would be better if some of these facilities were separate and outside the room.

Advantages
- in the city center
- can check in late
- though it’s a hostel we had a separate room and bathroom
- the room was quite clean
- there’s a back yard
Disadvantages:
- the shared kitchen was in poor condition (the hygiene)
- dust on upper shelves
- doesn’t look as nice as in pictures.
All in all fine for a single night stay.
But Wouldn’t wanna stay there for more than one night

It's a hostel with only one room for 4 people, so it's small and nice.. There are few guests, so I was lucky to draw, so I took good people. I think I'll go if I have to stay in Rome again next time
Nice room, still a bit rough around the edges as they are clearly renovating and location is very residential outside the city but for the price it’s worth it! Kitchen was a bit disappointing as no-one had mentioned you have to use your own cutlery/plates etc. and fridge was dirty. Overall a nice place which did the job for a low price, but a few changes in cleaning kitchen and renovation areas would improve it :)
I highly recommend this place to everyone! I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I absolutely had to for this one.
1. **Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** - I was a bit nervous about Rome's reputation for safety, but this hotel is located in a quiet residential area, so even as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe walking around late at night. Plus, Tiburtina Station, which has night bus services, is only a 10-minute walk away, making the surroundings bright and secure.
2. **Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** - For a 3-star hotel, it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The high ceilings, almost like a loft, made the room feel incredibly airy and spacious. The 24/7 air conditioning also contributed to the overall comfort, making it consistently pleasant. The bedding and bathroom hygiene were excellent! I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and this place definitely passed my test.
3. **Staff Friendliness / Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️🔥❤️🔥💖❤️🔥❤️🔥⭐️❤️🔥💖** - They offer unlimited luggage storage after check-out, and they also allow guests to use the lobby for as long as needed. Having a very early morning flight, I didn't want to book an extra night, so I just left my luggage and waited in the lobby. They were incredibly accommodating and graciously allowed me to wait until the early hours. Thanks to their kindness, I wasn't left stranded; I waited safely and comfortably in the lobby until 3 AM when I headed to the airport for my flight.
Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, especially the middle-aged gentleman working the night/early morning shift. He was particularly witty and kind. I am truly grateful for their exceptional hospitality!

SSucré IshPerfect for Solo travellers. The place is clean and relaxing. I stayed here more than the touristy areas. The rooftop are so relaxing and clean.
JJineshThe dorms are pretty nice but the rest room doors don't lock.
The staff is amazing and the volunteers are really friendly. Nearby there is a supermarket but not so many good restaurants and bars, you'll have to travel 15-20 minutes for good places to eat or dine in.
SShaz YusThe hostel is quite central, very close to the transport hub, but it's on the 'other' side of the sights.
Other reviews say that it's in a 'sketchy' area, this is true, there is a lot of graffiti around the hostel, but I personally saw no trouble at all, felt safe at all times.
The hostel itself was clean and welcoming from the outside.
Under my bed sheet there was blood, which was a bit unsettling, I didn't raise the issue, as I doubt anything could be done.
Some staff are helpful, some definitely are not, the night-time staff are moody, daytime were fine.
The roof top bar was closed, only open during the summer months apparently.
I personally felt the bar area needed a bit more atmosphere, it was never busy throughout my 4 nights there, I feel the hostel may have missed a trick there.
Overall, it was a good hostel, not perfect, but you get what you paid for. The rooms were tidy and well maintained. I had no issues with the 3 other strangers in my room.
Would I stay at this hostel again? Yes, as it was good value for money, in a central location, but certain staff definitely need to be more approachable and not loo .as though they will phone in sick the next day.
