Hostels in Shaanxi, China

Facilities: I've been staying at this Xi'an location since it opened until this year. The facilities might be a bit older compared to some of the newer Backpacker Ten-Year establishments. Cleanliness: The room attendants always clean the rooms thoroughly, but there are always some inconsiderate guests who litter, and the waste bins in the bathrooms are often full of paper. The shower area can also be slippery at times. Environment: The environment is excellent, no complaints there. From the inside out, the staff – including the front desk ladies and gentlemen and the cleaning aunties – keep everything very tidy. Service: The front desk staff are all quite good; at the very least, they always accommodate any requests I have.

1. The location is easy to find, with plenty of food options nearby, and ordering takeout is convenient. It's a very short walk from Exit A of Guangji Bridge! 2. On the first floor, they sell snacks and water, and there's free drinking water and hot water, which is quite nice. If you need something urgently, you can just buy it there. 3. There's an elevator to the upper floors, and a spacious and clean terrace on the top floor, which is convenient for eating. 4. Overall, it's very well-organized. I initially thought a six-person room would feel cramped, but it was actually fine. The bathroom is clean, and the shower pressure is excellent!! The bathrooms are cleaned daily. 5. My room shared a space and two bathrooms with a four-person room. This was a good setup; some hostels have 10-20 people sharing just two or three bathrooms, which can be a bit too tight. 6. The price is very reasonable; for this price, the value for money is absolutely amazing. The only, only minor drawback is that someone was playing loud music... But that's negligible!! My trip to Xi'an this time felt like everything was going wrong, but the hostel was truly awesome!!! It's fantastic!!!

Very nice place to stay. Friendly and helpful owner. I felt very comfortable. The best ist the lovely rooftop garden. The location is excellent. The only little downsize, the matrass is very thin and so sleeping ist hard. Excellent value

Hotel room was a quiet oasis from the chaotic city. The room was very comfortable and a good size. The toilet and shower were separate and so was the sink. The aircon did it awhile ago to cool the room, but apart from that it was good. The lift up to the rooms was a goods lift as the current lift was being renovated- again didn’t affect the stay much. Dress up clothes available. Some common room to have food & drinks or read. Overall we would recommend this stay and happily stay here again if we were to return. A few things could have been improved but for the price & location, it was quite decent. Just a 10 mins walk from the subway station.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. First of all the service was really great. When I arrived at the hotel, they gave me a room that was already occupied, but when I said about the problem they immediately change the room and I got ar upgrade without paying any extra cost. As for the room, it was very clean and the amenities were very useful. Also the toilets were clean and there were both squat and sitting ones. The location was also quite convenient, as it was next to the Da Tang Mal, so the night was very lively. The only con is that the metro station was little bit far (around ten minutes by foot), but overall it was easy to find the hotel even for a non-chinese-speaker like me In conclusion, I would advise this hotel if you come to XiAn, as my stay here was really great

The hostel is located in a very convenient area, and from the moment I checked in, the staff were friendly, calm, and welcoming. The facilities were exceptionally clean, with fresh air and a comfortable, peaceful atmosphere that made the environment very conducive to a pleasant stay. I truly enjoyed my time there and would gladly recommend it to others.

The hotel's location is pretty good, but there's an underpass that can easily lead you in the wrong direction towards the Bell Tower. It's next to a mall with an elevator. I'd recommend checking in during the day, as it might be hard to spot the entrance in the dark morning. The service is very thoughtful and quiet, and the bedding is clean. The only downside is the trash bin in the bathroom, which was overflowing with trash. The cleaning staff only tidied up once, and unfortunately, many guests aren't considerate. Also, the toilet and shower area are quite small; larger individuals might find it difficult to turn around. The outdoor lounge area is nice, spacious, and perfect for some quiet solo time. The hotel also offers free umbrellas for guests to borrow. Overall, it's great value for money.

This hostel is well-equipped, has a great atmosphere, and the service is super friendly. The rooms are spotless, and the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, with staff cleaning it daily. You get free billiards and karaoke, and you can also enjoy coffee or a drink in the back, which is really convenient. The vibe is excellent, the overall environment is lovely, and it offers incredible value for money.

The store is very nice, and told the address very thoughtfully, and also gave fruit and mountaineering gloves when checking in, and also introduced the situation of climbing Huashan. The place where I live is a few minutes walk from the entrance of Yuquanyuan, which is very convenient. Stay overnight and go out to climb the mountain in the morning, and you can store your luggage until you go down the mountain at night. The boss and the proprietress are very nice, don't hesitate!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The common areas were elegant and quiet, and the decor had a wonderful cultural vibe. Guests are required to change into slippers upon entering and smoking is strictly prohibited, which I really appreciated. What's amazing is that even though the lobby was full of people – young and old – studying, working online, reading, on their phones, or playing games, it was absolutely silent. It felt just like home! Highly recommend this place. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I didn't expect to be this satisfied! Thumbs up to the owner! 👍
