Stayed 5 nights in 4 person dorm room Expectation/Reality: this establishment exceeded expectations. Check in is ground floor and fairly easy to find and access. The room beds are good size and clean, there is lots of storage space for belongings and generally better than what was expected. The free laundry and detergent is a nice plus. Internet has good connection. Security: very secure, there is a lock to the door of the main room and a locker cubby for each guest, felt belongings where secure and in a safe area. Hygiene: generally very clean, in a four person room it is shared showers with only four people, and on slow season you might only share with one or two other people. The cleaners come consistently to clean and refile soap. Hospitality: staff was excellent and competent. Although it is a chain it felt like it is owner operated, check in was smooth, extending the stay was smooth and all additional information and assistance was timely and effective. Social Atmosphere: no scheduled events, but there is plenty of social and public space to meet people, generally good vibes. Overall: one of the best hostels in China so far having stayed in 5 different hostels in China in 5 different cities for over 20 nights. I would recommend and would stay again.

This is the Ritz of all hostels. The front desk and bar staff can speak English. The restrooms are clean and well-kept; the shower rooms have great showers and water pressure complete with shower gel, shampoo, cotton buds, and cotton pads. There are hair dryers too! Upon check in, you will be handed with a pair of slippers that you can use in your entire stay. The bed is wonderful and comes with a pillow and comforter. You will also be provided with a bath towel. A bottle of water is provided everyday. The room is kept clean and the hallways are tidy. The only downside is the food offerings. I wish they can offer more options apart from sandwiches. Affordable rates though. Breakfast of toast, one sunny sideup, and green salad is RMB 15, sandwiches for only RMB 18, and a tall glass of beer is at least RMB 12. I was so happy with my experience that I didn't even take good pictures. I just enjoyed soaking in the experience! Stay here when you are in Xi'An. From here on, I will stay in Desti Youth Park in cities/places in China where they are located. Great job!

Good location next to a lot of food options. Very cold in the room at night. The heat turned off in the room in the middle of the night. I stayed in the 6 person dorm but it is connected to another 6 person dorm with only 2 bathrooms for both dorms. Luckily there weren't many people staying there or the bathroom situation could be a problem. Smoking is allowed in the reception area on the 1st floor which is not ideal.

advantage: 1. It’s close to the Bell Tower, so it’s OK to take photos of night views at night. I don’t think there’s any need to buy a ticket to go in. There is an elevator on the 2.5th floor 3. There is a desk in the public area, which is large overall and exceeds expectations (video) 4. Cheap Improvement points: 1. Bedding stains: not to mention the bed sheets, pillow towels and even large areas of yellow stains (I saw someone said this in the comments, but they were criticized) 2. Wi-Fi connection keeps disconnecting 3. I was kicked out before I checked out: Ctrip clearly stated that I would check out at 2:00 pm, but when the store saw me coming out of the public area, they told me to collect my room card because there were other people checking in in the afternoon. I made it clear that I would not refund now. That won’t work. 4. Chaotic management: At night, a boy came in and chatted with each other on WeChat. I thought it was outrageous. He even called another girl from a distance. We are all regular guests. At 7:00 in the morning, another girl kept knocking on the door, saying that she wanted to come in to get something (I didn’t know for sure that she wouldn’t go down from the upper bunk). She didn’t take the room card and didn’t contact the boss to open the door. She was awake and sleeping three times and still kept knocking. It’s really too confusing 5. Half of them are regular guests, and there are too many things in the room. I thought it was normal in Shanghai, but it would be difficult for tourists and regular guests to share rooms in Xi'an. 6. The room is cold. I came back from a Shanghai youth hostel where it was even colder, so I can accept it. It was said that the air conditioner can be turned on at 8pm, but no one turned it on anywhere. 7. Put on your own three-piece suit Now I have been rushed to a super nice youth hostel, yizhouyou industry ceiling, three hair dryers that look like Dyson, I will give them to anyone who sees them.

This is the most cost-effective youth hostel I have ever stayed in. It is close to the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps. The bedding is well-equipped and there are two layers of cabinets for storing things. It is very thoughtful and a bit close to the level of Japanese youth hostels. The downside is that it is not ventilated. There is a lady's shoe insole that smells very bad. She plays music on her mobile phone at 8 o'clock in the morning, which makes people unable to sleep. If the front desk can restrain and remind them to keep quiet, let them put their shoes in the cabinet at the door, and only wear slippers to enter the room, it will be better.

The facilities in the toilet are not very complete. There is only a hair dryer, and the shower gel and shampoo are not very useful. There are no paper towels in the toilet. If you want to go to the toilet, you have to get paper towels yourself. After staying at more than 30 hostels in Asia including China, I can definitely say that this is one of the best I have ever stayed! From the cleanliness to how they have incorporated small details that include a shelving in your dorm bed apart from the drawers that’s provided is just amazing! Best of all, the location is extremely convenient and the people working here are truly friendly and endeavours to assist with all your questions and concerns, great work! This place will definitely be my go to if I’m visiting Xi’an again!

Plenty of restaurants next door and a convenient store too. Bus to train station passes in front of hotel or ulyou can book a private car from hotel for RMB20.
