The 10th-floor rooftop at Wulin is absolutely wonderful. When the weather's good, it's perfect for sunbathing. At night, you can cozy up in a camping chair, stargaze, and enjoy some tea by a small stove – pure bliss! The study room is also excellent, with a great selection of books. It’s a quiet haven, ideal for reading or even some temporary work. Plus, there's a dedicated women's vanity room, so you don't have to crowd the public areas to wash up or do your makeup. This thoughtful detail is really appreciated. The restaurant food was surprisingly delicious and affordable. There are also many activities daily, convenient transportation, warm service, and clean facilities. I really love it here and will definitely come back. There are so many activities every day, and you can even do pixel art. They even gave a Hangzhou landmark fridge magnet as a checkout gift, which is just fantastic! 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍 Next time I'm in Hangzhou, I'll definitely choose Wulin again!

Stayed here around this time last year and was very satisfied. This year, for the same trip, I chose this place again. It's very close to the subway station, making transportation convenient, and not far from West Lake Scenic Area and Intime department store. There's a Luckin Coffee right when you exit and turn right, which is incredibly convenient. The environment is even cleaner than last year, and they provided shower gel and shampoo. This time, I even got a free room upgrade, which I was very happy about. The staff are also very enthusiastic.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with a quiet, studious feel to them. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, always ready to assist – truly a blessing! The surrounding scenery is picturesque, making it an ideal place for both leisure and spiritual retreat.

It was pretty good! The service was excellent. The only minor issue was that the place was a bit hard to find at first, as it's connected to a bookstore. The hostel itself has a fridge and a microwave, though the microwave takes a little longer to heat things up. Overall, it's quite convenient. The toilet is also pretty smart. I'd definitely recommend staying here, especially since it's an easy walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence and Shen Garden.

Please take note that foreigner is not allowed to stay in bunk bed, helpful and responsive host, great location, the negative is sound proof very poor due to the window is kind of hole type, you can clearly hear any sound from outside the room

When I came to Hangzhou, I chose to stay at this youth hostel, and it was a great experience. The hygiene was excellent; the auntie was constantly cleaning. The facilities were also very comprehensive, with various musical instruments. In the evenings, they even organize singing sessions. There's also an entertainment room where they host Werewolf and other games. Plus, there's a study room and a makeup room, so the facilities are truly complete. The front desk staff were very polite and gave a detailed introduction during check-in. The environment is lovely, and the location is fantastic – close to attractions and just a few minutes' walk to the subway station. I highly recommend staying here; I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Hangzhou!

The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk (around 300-500 meters) from West Lake. It's also super convenient with Ding'an Road subway station nearby and close to popular areas like Wulin Night Market and Hefang Street, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly easy.

The address in Amap was completely wrong, so I struggled finding the hostel. I had booked it because of the metro being nearby, which was not the case in the end. BUT, this made me a new local friend who showed me the way, so it turned out well. It is situated in the main area, so to get anywhere, you'll walk through the hustle & bustle, but it's in a calm street, so you don't have any noise inside. Some of the staff spoke English or used translation tools, but not all of them. But they were very kind. Also, it was cheaper to extend directly with the hostel and pay them instead of rebooking online. I met some really amazing people in my dorm, which also added to my Hangzhou experience. The WiFi sometimes didn't work so well, but that's just very usual in China I find. They have free (mostly hot) water, and you can also buy water bottles from them.
