Hostels in Zhejiang, China

I stayed in the capsule room, and the room was clean and comfortable. However the room did not have a door, only a curtain, which I found a little bit strange and uncomfortable because you could hear everybody walking in and out. Though everyone was mostly quiet and very nice. Furthermore the female bathroom was really clean and had a beautiful smell. On the down side the location was ok but a little far away from the lake and other nice areas, and the reception could not give any recommendations.. since they weren’t from Huangzhou. Though one receptionist with blonde hair was very nice and helpful!

Facilities: The basic facilities are complete. Although the decor is a bit old-fashioned, it's kept spotlessly clean, with an auntie constantly cleaning. Service: I was reminded that a deposit was required, but we managed to resolve the issue through negotiation. The front desk staff had a good attitude. Location: It's also very convenient, located in a place called Yujintai, not far from Exit E4 of Qianjiang Century City, making it very easy to find.

The only good thing: the location is fantastic, just a short walk from the subway station. The front desk ladies were super friendly. There was also a cute dog. However, the accommodation area was very poorly managed. The dorms weren't separated by gender, and the soundproofing was terrible; you could clearly hear conversations from the next room. People in the hallway were loud, with men staying up late and making noise, and someone coughing early in the morning. The doors also slammed shut with a loud bang every time you closed them. Overall, the common areas felt quite chaotic.

On the shores of West Lake, I found a hostel I'd happily return to again and again. To be honest, the name initially caught my attention. But after staying there, I realized the details are what truly make you want to stay. 🛏 Cleanliness: Linens are changed for each guest, and the duvets smell like sunshine. The shower rooms are wet/dry separated, so there's no standing water after showering. 🚽 Surprise: A smart toilet! That's a top-tier amenity for a hostel at this price point. 🎸 Atmosphere: In the evenings, you can hear guitar music in the common area. If you don't feel like socializing, you can just relax and listen to the music. If you want to chat, someone will naturally join in. No one judges you; it's very laid-back. 📍 Location: Right by West Lake, within walking distance, and surrounded by plenty of food options. Next time I'm in Hangzhou, I'll definitely stay at 'Jian Zhi Er Qi' again.

These words instantly reminded me of the gentle moonlight embracing me, the soft, warm girls sitting in a row, my roommate's neatly organized toiletries, and a display of cosmetics. It's just like being at school. The taxi driver overcharged a bit, but on the way, I first encountered a hotel, and then the supermarket was very welcoming. This is my fourth time in Hangzhou. I originally planned to spend a day circling West Lake and then leave, but this wonderful hostel makes me want to stay another day! They provide disinfected towels and individually packed slippers in plastic bags – so thoughtful! Plus, a complimentary bottle of water (a precious commodity in the summer heat). Upon entering, I was greeted by a gentle, smiling young man. I finally recall his smile, it felt like it seeped into me, gently crushing the few withered leaves within. Turning a corner, I saw soft, warm girls (not as formidable as Fu Hao) sitting in a row, their cheeks slightly flushed – a sight you don't see in other hostels. ”To the person in charge, can you assign me a partner?”

The zoo is not far away and the bus station is within walking distance. The facilities are pretty good. You can refer to the pictures.

Close to the station, more convenient

The boss is very nice and always talks about delicious food and fun. The store has a large space and is very comfortable to live in. There are complete entertainment spaces, including a movie room, singing room, billiards, etc. It's a great experience!

This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Shaoxing, especially if you're here to see Lu Xun's former residence. It's super convenient, just 100 meters to the right when you exit the hotel. It's also very close to Xu Wei's former residence and the old streets. The room was comfortable, and the owner was very thoughtful; they even provided a therapeutic mat on the bed, which made sleeping very pleasant. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. Highly recommend!

Check-in staff and in house staff were really patient, respectful, and helpful. Asked them for direction and they kindly searched for it. This is a dormitory style homestay with shared room and bathroom. We stay in a private room with a private bathroom and toilet.Has hot water with good pressure. Non smoking room. Room is clean but mattress is really old and should be replaced. The tatami layout is nice with a simple sitting area.Recommend for owner to install more clothes hanging hooks for convenience. No tv in room. They have a large common area with regular and hot water dispenser. Many table and chairs for use. Location is far from city centre but within 10km by metro. Same distance to the west lake
