I had a great time staying at this hotel! The rooms were very clean, and everything was well-organized. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from my window, which made my mornings so much better. The hostel also had a lovely garden where I could relax after a day of sightseeing. It was conveniently located near a major transit station, making it easy to get around the city. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I enjoyed cooking my own meals there. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers!

A rare gem of a hotel . The decor was blended with art , culture , greenery ,nature into a historical old estate . Its very beautifully articulated ,from the moment we step into the compound , our eyes àre feasting at the beautiful setup at hall , the room , the gardens , terrace , passage way , lightings and everything . Despite being in the heart of thne properous tunxi old street , within the hotel compound its peacefully quiet and serene . Owner assist you via wechat instantaneously . Our room was upgraded upon checkin . We thoroughly enjoy our stay in 昱见8号院.

The location is really convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the transfer center. The staff will help plan the scenic route, which gives us more confidence in climbing. We can also borrow simple hiking sticks! The room is very large, the bed is also large, and it is very clean. You can see the ”Sunshine Golden Mountain” from the balcony in the morning and evening (Figure 2), but the bathroom is a bit awkward because it is a single-sided glass

The surrounding scenery is beautiful, the boss is good, the breakfast is great, the old man even served us breakfast, the room is even more comfortable, in fact, the best thing is the location, right at the south gate, right by the South Lake. The hostel offers pick up/drop of service from Huangshanbei station so it is really convenient to stay. Plus the owner can speak English and suggest the plan for hiking in Huangshan. If you need driver services you can also ask the hostel to help you find one. You can buy water or instant noodles in the hostel or the convenience store in front of the hostel. Overall good value for money, will come here again if I have a chance.

Really enjoyed the stay at First Met Hotel. The location is also very convenient to Huangshan North Railway station, just 7-8 min walk from railway station. Very Clean and staff are very helpful to guide us on planning the Huangshan hike. I will come back again to stay here and I recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Huangshan…☺️👍🏻

Eight of us stayed here for one night before we started our hike in Huang Shan. This boutique hotel gave us a very pleasant surprise from the beginning to end. When we checked in, we were given very warm welcome. The hotel was owned and managed by a young couple. The husband, called Jack, helped us to sort out and register our electronic admission tickets to Huang Shan. This really put our worries aside! His wife attended to every detail. The rooms are big, clean and nicely designed with a modern western style. They even have voice activation to lights, toilet bidet seats…Before we started our hike, they gave us water, snacks and even rain coats. After we came down from the mountain on the following day, we came back to the hotel to pick up our left luggage. Again, Jack and his wife welcomed us and provided every assistance. We had another meal there and the food was good. After lunch we were sent off with souvenirs. In short, an extraordinary heart-warming experience in this hotel. And above all, very good value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed. A unanimous vote - Highly recommended to our friends!

He wanted to pick me up at the south gate of Hongcun, but I said no, it's easy to find! The decoration is relatively simple, clean and hygienic, and the bedding is also very comfortable! It's very close to Nanhu, Yuezhao, and Chengzhitang, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there! I had a meal at the inn at noon, and guests can get a 12% discount. It was delicious! The owner also picked fruits from the yew tree in the inn for me to eat. It was the first time I ate this kind of fruit, soft, sticky and sweet! Very pleasantly surprised!

The owner/staff was very helpful and friendly. The room is big, nice, and clean. the whole area exceed our expectations. When it was dinner time, it was a bit hard to get a taxi. They offer options to have dinner at their restaurant but we chose to still go downtown for dinner. And ended up with them delivering us downtown with the hotel’s car. You can borrow hiking sticks for your hike and store your luggage there. They offer tour guide for the Huangshan scenic area (with separate fee) and free shuttle to the bus station in the morning

I booked this homestay because I am a huge fan of huizhou style architecture and surely the place didn't disappoint me. The design of the homestay rooms gives one that feeling of antiquity. Takes you back to the Ming Dynasty if you are a Chinese history buff. Also,there is a nicely designed small restaurant at the location. The food was great. Additionally,I enjoyed my overall stay because the owner was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves idyllic antique designs.

Service: The housekeeper provided good service, warm and thoughtful, and took the initiative to inform us of some precautions, fun places, maps, etc. in Hongcun. The heating effect of the central air conditioner was not very good, and a solution was immediately proposed. The stay was very comfortable. Environment: The hotel was renovated based on the old house in Hongcun, with a unique courtyard and full of Hui style.

Located inside the ancient village, within walking distance to POI, owner is friendly and attractive, even free upgrade our room to a newly build room and more convenient for in out access, he also offer pickup fron the entrance, btw is pickup ur luggage ya. 1 of thd must visit place if you plan to hike HuangShan i.e Yellow Mountain. Room come with all amenities Bed is comfortable!

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

It was a very good experience. Oh my god, the lady boss personally picked us up with a cart and took the initiative to help us with our luggage. The B&B service was super good. Gorgeous little inn within hongcun. Clean, picturesque, conveniently located. Heater worked well enough but the room also included an electric blanket which was nice. One thing of note is the entrance fee for hongcun is ¥104 for Chinese, 50% off for foreigners. (Including Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan for some reason??) this is completely out of the hotels control and most locals are against it.

1. Because of the temporary travel, I chose the one closest to the tourist service center. The cost performance is very high. If you live at the foot of the mountain, it is very convenient. 去年來九華山，住在禪居旁邊的民宿，因為沒訂到禪居的房間。今年來九華山，想着一定要住這裏，因為離月身寶殿就一牆之隔，很方便，而且下了景區大巴，民宿會有專車來接到民宿。這次入住的房間空調很足，因為我弄得太亂就沒拍照了，房間很大，還有浴缸，不錯…隔音效果也很好。特別要表揚的是胖胖的餘店長，我老公衣服被雨淋濕了，雖然退房了，他和前台瘦瘦高高的小龍很熱心的帶我老公去他們宿舍淋浴，還幫我把外套吹乾，真貼心。下次還會來的，強烈推薦。
