GGuest UserVery clean and recently decorated rooms.
The included breakfast was continental style self service or pay extra for cooked breakfast.
Bit disappointing that had no TV and had poor wifi signal, needed WiFi as my 4G did not have signal.
Sited in a rural location next to country walks which we unfortunately did not have time for.
Meals in the associated Black Horse bar were very good and would recommend.

Stayed for a festival nearby. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was great, we had lunch and breakfast and both were lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable and felt like they had recently been updated. 10/10 would stay again.

MMiaka QuayThe location is perfect, situated just opposite of the St. Albans Cathedral Abbey. Their service was great too, the receptionist was kind and friendly. As for the cleanliness... the room is very clean. However, the room is very old. Creaking floors and walls. Uneven floors. Their isnt mold visually but there are moldy smells. There are cobwebs but only if you see closely. Their bed are extremely soft, like sleeping on marshmallows. Their TV have no channels at all, so nothing to watch. They do provide free wi-fi. As for amenities, all in provided including body wash, shampoo and bar soap. In the room, they have iron board, iron and hair dryer. Those who wanting for a drink, situated at their reception is a bar itself.
