I highly recommend this hostel which has the best facilities I have ever seen so far. The rooms are clean as well as the bathroom. Bath gel and towels are provided. A fully furnished kitchen is also available as well as water refill and coffee and tea. I should also add that the reception team is absolutely amazing, always ready to help if you have any questions or worries!!! So try this place you won’t regret it . ijen mountain entrance is an hour away by motorbike.

Room was really nice. Very friendly staff. The room was in a beautiful and very clean house. They also helped me arrange to book a tour to Mount Ijen. I liked that they served me coffee when I checked in and also after coming back fron my Mount Inen tour. Highly recommended.

This is the best hotel i could find when i go travelling in Surabaya. I like how the towel is wrapped by plastic showing that its new and not used by other. The facility also is good, theres a refridgerator that you can use to cool foods and drinks. The wifi is also good and fast. The one thing that i dont like is maybe they cant refresh your card right away if youre extending your stay, but its good that the steward is willingly to help you to open your door until 2 pm.

Have the cheapest and best tour for mount bromo and waterfalls in town.
Powerful AC in the rooms, clean and nice hot showers.
Washing machine and chill spot on the roof.
I highly recommend staying at least 2 nights.
Great free tour we got of the local chinese temple.
Locatio close to the color villages.
Had a very good time there.

EEndiYudaI recently stayed at Pohon Inn, and overall, it was an amazing experience! The location is unbeatable, right inside Jatim Park 2, which makes it super convenient for families and tourists visiting the attractions.
The cleanliness of the hotel was well-maintained, and I was especially impressed with the helpfulness and politeness of the staff—they really made the stay more comfortable. One of the highlights of the experience was the breakfast area, where you can enjoy your meal with a view of tigers and bears—such a unique and unforgettable setting!
The room itself felt a bit outdated, but everything worked properly. Water pressure and hot water were perfect throughout the stay. However, it’s worth noting that a hairdryer was not provided by default, and we had to request it.
Despite that small issue, everything else made up for it. I’d definitely recommend Pohon Inn for anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a great stay!

HHung Hiu TungA very cheap choice. Not much facilities provided by the hotel, for example no dryer, shampoo and bath gel. The room has locker, pretty small, my luggage doesn’t fit in, so I just place my suitcase outside the capsule. I think it’s okay because Indonesia is quite safe. Staff are helpful, check in and out is quick. Nice for an overnight short stay if you have a low budget.

TTouchingMyHeart1. There are no storage lockers for any of the beds, and the front desk said they’re under repair. This really affects the experience. However, there are cameras in the common areas, which should reduce the chances of personal belongings being stolen.
2. The location is good, with malls nearby. Starbucks and McDonald's are within a 10-minute walk.
3. The hostel lobby is too dark, making it difficult to read, but the lighting in the bathrooms is quite good.

Pph37czThe room was clean and tidy. There were 2 towels. Shared bathroom was also clean and there was hot water. There was water dispenser with hot drinking water in the common area. Staff was super welcoming and helpful. There were some tour options to visit Sewu falls and Bromo volcano.
But the internet speed was a bit slow.

The location is inside a housing complex, quite far from the main street to walk to some store.. But it's quiet, good for resting. The girl at the front desk could have known more.. should read more, get to know more about places or things around/ in the town, so she can give information more clearly
