Hostels in Veneto, Italy

Blown away! The room was incredibly spacious, genuinely shocking upon entry! It's very close to the train station, and the hotel itself is a large building with its own restaurant and cocktail bar. You can enjoy drinks and music in the evening, and dine during the day. The Venetian specialties sold at the restaurant in the morning were absolutely delicious! One was only 2.9 euros, with soft bread packed full of meat! After trying one, it was so good I bought two more! There's also a fantastic focaccia shop very close to the hotel, selling huge ones for only 10.5 euros! Staying here was truly the smartest decision! We had a wonderful time in Venice yesterday. Be cautious with restaurants on Venice Island – water costs 5 euros a bottle and cover charge is 3 euros per person. Staying here, the food is great, and you don't have to drag your luggage up and down steps; getting to the island only requires buying a 1.5 euro ticket at a machine or counter! So convenient!! Everyone should stay here!!!!

The facilities of the hostel were great, especially the lounging area was comfortable enough to sit and wait if one had been early for the check-in time. However, when we checked into our room long after the official check-in time, the beddings of a bunk bed were not made. In fact, cover sheets and blankets of those beds were just laid there all messy and one even had holes in it (shown in the pictures provided below). That was not the only inconvenience, however. A fire alarm in the hostel had been activated at 3 am of August 11th randomly, which rang for at least two hours, but management and staff were not as competent when handling an emergency situation like that in my opinion. Guests of the hostel had to be waken up with a banging noise of alarm in the midst of their sleep and evacuated outside to stand still for 2 full hours with no explanation or compromisation. It has to be considered that all kinds of people are being hosted in this hostel, such as the elderly, the children, and also disabled people who cannot be put under that kind of stress and also deprivation of sleep. If compromisation of a late check-out was made with customers, it would at least compensate for the inconvenience it brought to people.

From the outside, the hostel looks very charming — it’s a beautiful villa surrounded by flowers. Inside, however, it feels like a fairly standard hostel. The room was extremely hot, and there was only one fan available, which went to whoever claimed it first. The upper bunk had no safety rail, so there is a real risk of falling out during the night. Instead of a proper power outlet by the bed, there was only an extension adapter located below, meaning you have to leave your phone or other valuable devices out of sight while charging. There is only one toilet per room, and it seemed that most guests were assigned to the same dorm. As a result, there was always a queue for our bathroom while the bathrooms in other rooms remained unused. Finally, the “breakfast included” option was quite misleading. It consisted of coffee and a couple of dry biscuits. Had I known that this was the breakfast offered, I would have preferred to book a different hostel without breakfast included.

The location was fantastic. I could catch a bus directly behind the hotel to the main island, and one day I took the train to Padua, which was great. The hotel also gave me a welcome drink coupon, so I had a draft beer that was absolutely delicious. It was also nice to have a large supermarket nearby. One of the reception staff members mentioned studying at Seoul National University, and it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted and converse with her in Korean.

We enjoyed our stay at combo venezia,very clean comfy bed and big space for 3. With mini kitchen dining tables,cooker,fridge . Clean bathroom with toiletries and towels. Such a shame,we only stay for 1 night. I have to leave early as my flight is early,the lovely gentleman at the reception packed me with my foodies as I missed my free breakfast ,the rest of my family has to check out later than me and they say the breakfast is lovely. Location is very close to Central and to the water bus station B F.T.Nove station via (Alilaguna)just 2 minutes or less maybe to the Hotel . Only 2stops to and from the airport of Marco Polo. Highly recommend, definitely will booked here again next time.👍

I really enjoyed my stay on the island of Venice. The common areas are beautiful. I happened to be on the top bunk, which was a bit of a climb, but there is an elevator. However, the elevator only goes to the second floor, and I was on the third, so it's not accessible for people with disabilities. Overall, it was quite clean and tidy. I had my own bed, and right outside the door were several restaurants, directly facing the sea. I loved the atmosphere of the seaside restaurants.

The best hotel in Padova! We had an enjoyable stay. It's an excellent location for public transport users. Only 10 minutes ride from the central train station by bus. It is a fantastic location in a quiet area, surrounded by major attractions. Walkable to the local lifestyle and restaurants. The layout of our assigned room is perfect, with privacy in separate functions. We will definitely return.

Convenient location to get around and for those who takes flixibus in and out of Venice, this is a great place for it is only 500 m away. Good value for the money you pay at this hostel. One thing that I have to mention is the overpowering scent in the room I stayed. It is too much, please remember this scent can set off a terrible headache for some who is sensitive to strong scent.

The room was spacious, and the backyard was absolutely huge. The common areas were also very large. Service was excellent. Housekeeping clearly made an effort, but there were some signs of age. Unfortunately, there were cockroaches in the laundry room in the basement. The air conditioning couldn't be controlled independently and would shut off at night. This made the room incredibly, incredibly, incredibly hot during summer nights. Opening the window wasn't an option either due to the grassy area outside and an extreme amount of mosquitoes.

The inn is kind and I think access is ridiculous. The courtyard is beautiful and I liked antiques such as the entrance very much. The dissatisfaction was that there was no screen door and the building was poor, and the windows were left open at night, and there were mosquitoes. Fortunately, I checked the four corners of the bed, but there was no tokojirami! Also, the shower on the 3 floor only comes out cold water. I recommend using the shower on the 2 floor or 4 floor. I would like to thank you for having a wonderful time for me except for the above two points.
