Extremely good place to stay! In terms of price/quality, this is so far the best place I have ever visited! My friend and I paid for 2-bed room (like in the hostel: 2 levels), but the price per night cannot compare with any other place. And everything is very neat and modern there! Also, on the roof, they have a swimming pool (again, it was a huge surprise for such a low price), and there you can order a cheap and very tasty breakfast (3-5 dollars for the set). And the location... Right nearby Pub Street, National Museum! Overall, I could highly recommend the place to anyone.
The location is super convenient, just a ten-minute walk from Pub Street, with lots of great restaurants, juice bars, and ice cream shops nearby. The room is incredibly spacious; even with many people, it doesn't feel crowded or messy. It's well-organized, clean, and tidy, with two bathrooms in the room, which is really convenient. The front desk staff speak excellent English, are very professional and nice, and are always patient in answering and resolving any questions. Every staff member at the front desk is great, making this a hostel with a fantastic atmosphere. The lobby is just like a hotel lobby. They offer tours to Tonlé Sap Lake, Khmer cooking classes, and trips to watch Khmer dance shows with buffet dinner, which are very convenient. You can also book bus tickets to various destinations. I stayed here for 7 days in Siem Reap and had a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the staff!
What a wonderful experience this week for me here.
I was there around Halloween.
They have activities and tour you can join.
I stayed in 10 mixed shared room. It was ok, they have big bed for single person you even have your own personal wardrobe and locker area which is awesome.
There's a super market nearby which sell almost everything you need for your stay. I met a lot of travelers from around the world here , we talked and shared travel experience, culture. It was fun. Overall satisfied. But the Wifi is a bit slow though.
Lovely hostel! Great location and room is very cleans Friendly reception as well. Highly recommended.
Shower can be better because water spray everywhere easily.
Good location and clean. It is possible to rent a motorbike. There is a good restaurant inside of the hostel which is convenient if you get hungry at any time
Expectation/Reality: The rooms and the photos were pretty close, and you will get pretty much what you expect. The bed is a foam top which isn't bad.
Security: Generally secure. No safe, and the key is attached to the bracelet, but the location and the space felt secure.
Hygiene: Generally good. You may have to ask for fresh towels, but the space itself was clean.
Hospitality: Quite good, everyone speaks english and is fairly competent.
Social Atmosphere: WARNING this is a party hostel. Music will be playing until mid night, so if you want to sleep early you need very good ear plugs. There's lots of events and lots of people to socialize with, typically they are around 21-22 years old, but there are older and younger, generally a good crowd. The volunteers organizing the events are just OK and doing their job, not the most keen or enthusiastic, but reasonably good enough.
Overall: Good value for a private room. Good location to see the touristy sights. BEWARE don't book transport through the hostel. It seems convenient but it not a good experience. You get picked up by a tuk tuk, dropped off outside of town and wait by the side of the road were no one speaks english to get into a jam packed into van with broken AC, and no one speaks english, the van left about an hour behind schedule and when arriving at Phnom Penh, it was a dodgy experience, getting into another van alone to be dropped off into the next hostel. It was an uncomfortable adventure, but I did arrive safe, but if i did it again I would book transport through a provider with more direct responsibility.
Very nice and posh ”hostel” (mad monkey is more a corporation now), perfect for young people looking for meeting others, pub crawling and getting frequently drunk.
Check the info you get from the counter (they'll tell you need a taxi to the airport for 30 USD because tuktuks don't go there. Tuktuks actually go asking 15 and you can probably bargain at around 8)
Veey friendly ans helpful staff, nice atmosphere, a lot of options and offers, very clean and modern, 3 different swimming pools, delicious food. Thank you! Best Hotel of my journey.
Budget hotel, conditions perfectly match the price, and the price for CTrip was lower than when they came in person and asked. To the center on foot 20 minutes. On tukTuk 5. I was satisfied

YyamashinI used it on a man trip with a friend. It was a few minutes walk from Pub Street and in a very accessible location, and the price was the lowest in the downtown area. The room was clean, but if you are concerned, you need to be careful because the toilet and shower partitions get wet when you take a shower. And women may be concerned about that because they didn't have a dryer.

DDima LakhimWe stayed for 3 nights, first booked for a day, and then extended for two more days.
I really liked the attitude of the staff, they are ready to help with any question. We rented a bike and left it at the hotel for the night, in the morning I found the bike in a special room where all the rented equipment of visitors (bicycles and motorbikes) is stored, very nice.
At the reception they printed out my plane tickets for free, thank you!
The air conditioning was always on in the room, it was pleasantly cool (even when we left), there is a breakfast set: water, coffee with cream, sugar and a kettle.
The mattress is good, clean, the pillows are comfortable, we slept well.
The door to the toilet could be better, it's as if it doesn't exist.
The location of the hotel is also very good. Despite the fact that it is located in the very center, the hotel is quiet, you can't hear the noise from all the street cafes, from the pub street and the rest. It's literally a 5-minute walk to them.
Considering the cost per day, this is a great place!
(There is a hotel opposite with a pool where you can swim for $1).
