My sister in-law traveled to manila for 4 days and I booked a hostel in her behalf. I'm a Z Hostel Patreon ever since. So I always recommended this place. Easy access, convenient and cost friendly. Till next time! 🙏🫡

Yamato Hostel is a budget-friendly, simple, and clean accommodation that fits travelers who prioritize affordability and accessibility over luxury. The overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, making it suitable for solo travelers, backpackers, and short-term visitors.
The rooms are typically compact but tidy, which is standard for hostels in Japan. Dormitory beds are usually equipped with curtains for privacy, individual lights, and charging outlets. Linens are clean, and the sleeping areas are generally well maintained. Space can feel tight if you have large luggage, but this is expected in most urban hostels.
Common areas are functional rather than fancy.
Had an emergency. My flight got canceled and needed a place to crash for some hours…friendly staff. Clean bedrooms. Bathroom a little but smelly. But totally fine for the price. Would recommend this hostel if you need a place to stay walking distance from T1 (15-20min).

The place is so nice. Service is good but my only concern was the blanket.lit has so many lints. Most of my stay I was wearing dark clothes so himolmol malala talaga. I had to buy lint roller. Hahahah.
One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was spotless, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. I slept well and truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort and quality.

The location is good. The staffs are nice. The place is clean as well. However, I wish they’s spray the room with some kind of air freshener as well. The room smelled like a person’s sweat when you open the door. Good thing I brought a perfume with me to hang in.
Comfortable to stay,,decent room and clean, you can enjoy swimming. little bit expensive but lower rate than condo unit.. They'll having food menu to order. Free coffee , free hot and cold water, free wi-fi. The location is near to Airport and smx convention center Pasay city
The place is clean and organized. There's shampoo and body soap but make sure to bring conditioner. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided but they sell them for a cheap price.
Overall my stay was good. I checked in very late and they give step by step instructions on how to self check-in. Did not get a good sleep tho because one lady in the shared room I booked in was snoring loudly which was distracting (not the hostel's fault lol).

AAnonymous UserIt was a very nice stay. I also loved that this room was the biggest one I’ve tried in the same branch—and the cleanest too. The Wi-Fi was really fast, so I was able to do some work calls and meetings without any issues. The bed was very comfortable as well.
I remember we overslept during the stay until 12 noon. We didn’t get a reminder call via the landline, and instead someone politely knocked on the door. We also received a call on the phone, but it was on silent, so we didn’t get any notifications. They then told us we could extend until 2 PM, with ₱300 deducted from the ₱1,500 down payment.
The black box wasn’t working, though I wasn’t really planning to use it—I just tried it out. The bathroom was a decent size for one person (so no bathroom romance haha). Overall, it was a great stay.
AAnonymous UserA very good location in this ugly city. Though it was hard to find it.
The room is small, service is good. The girls in the room were very friendly.
I tried to use public buses nearby and failed, they didn't stop at the ”bus stop area”, wasted time. So only used metro

CCambrianThe staff is really nice, helpful, and friendly. They try the best to interact with all the people as my observation and try to remember our name as well.
The location is good for me as it is under visitors gather point and walk out u can see many visitors as u also easy to find a foods especially to who not really cannot accept local road foods.
They also offer free walking tours around the area and explain to u.
Opps not to forget the free welcoming drinks. Probably, if they can indicate the name of drinks, it will be much helpful as I do not know, and too hard for me to remember when staff told me during place order.
The room i booked is dorm for 4. They do offer me a free lock to lock the locker rather than I need to buy the new one. Highly appreciated. But I found the locker is dirty with maybe detergent , i am not sure, but my bag all has been full with the unknown dirty and I need to use my own one time deal tower to clean it . Really sad. Probably, future staff need to check the locker condition besides the bed.
Overall, if u are looking for party night and knowing more new friends, it is good options, but if you prefer a quiet environment, u may need to reconsider.
MMyRuleLeeA unique old hotel where some rooms have a car garage. Fast and satisfying service. There is no elevator for rooms on the second floor. So those bringing large suitcases will be helped by the hotel staff. What I like about this hotel is its security, where there are security guards who always guard and supervise every guest. I especially admire the friendly and attentive female security guards. For the room, I said it was okay because it was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't write a review for it. This hotel is close to a small jeepney terminal and a night market, there are also many restaurants and malls nearby. Just a 10-15 minute walk. When I checked in, I was asked for a 5,000 peso deposit (very large). Since I didn't have enough pesos because I was leaving Manila the next day, when I said I was giving a deposit in Ringgit, dollars, or yen, they allowed me not to give a room deposit. I also don't understand why the deposit was so large. When I gave Ringgit and asked for a receipt, the officer at that time didn't give it and returned my Ringgit. It was very suspicious not to want to provide proof of receipt.

CCris R.Definitely one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest, of all the hostels I've been in. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
The bed is comfortable, towel is provided, and the toilet and showers are well-maintained. Across the hostel is a store and a carinderia (eatery) where you can buy affordable food and drinks. Make sure to order buffalo chicken wings for only Php 250. The silog meals are sold for as low as Php 85. There's a bakery and a coffee kiosk too; both located across the hostel building.
When you exit the hostel, there is a Samgyupsal place and laundrymat to the right. Good service and great people too!
There is a balcony where you can eat food ordered from Grab or FoodPanda. Location is also near Robinsons Manila, Rizal Memorial Tennis Center, DLSU Taft, and many government offices.
