Hostels in Taiwan, China

During my visit to Taiwan, I stayed at 109 Hostel, which offers both dorm-style 'Dome' rooms and private rooms. The 'Dome' rooms are shared dormitories, each with an en-suite bathroom that features a separate shower area and, importantly, a bidet. Please note that towels and toothpaste incur a small charge (around 5-10 NTD), but complimentary hair styling amenities are provided. A female staff member was waiting for my check-in, and they were accommodating with early check-in and luggage storage. The hostel is conveniently located, easily accessible by bus or MRT Main Station, and just a pleasant 10-minute walk through the city. Walking to Ximending is also very convenient from here. Despite being a mixed-gender dorm, I felt very safe and secure. Most guests were Japanese and Korean, with a few Westerners, and everyone was considerate and didn't disturb each other. The beds were soft and the pillows good, making for a comfortable stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Taiwan.

OwlStay Flip Flop Hostel Garden is a fantastic choice for a quick trip to Taipei. Its location is a major plus, as it's just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The hostel itself is clean and well-designed, with a unique garden and a cozy bookstore-cafe that adds a lovely touch to the stay. You'll find it's great value for the money, with a delicious breakfast provided to start your day off right.

This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. It was very spacious and the staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared. We were also able to check in early as we arrived slightly earlier than planned. Our stay indeed felt like we were in a spa house. No complaints at all. There is a jap restaurant just beside the hotel and it served amazing food and drinks. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Located on a lively street ~ next to 7-11 very convenient Breakfast is also good, toast and porridge But I think the bed is very uncomfortable to sleep on The double bed is 2 single beds put together

5 Star Experience at Hostel Price. Immaculately clean ,tidy- Great for Business /lesiure trips. I have been staying here since a past 3 trips to the city. Communication is prompt, 5 star level professional dry cleaned towel and Bed Sheets. A Very well stocked library, great quality of sleep. The staff are so welcoming ,helpful and always cheerful. A fantastic Boutique hostel beign a role model for how hostels should be all around.

Owl hostel was perfect for my needs! The location is perfect- right next to the pier, food street, and a bus stop. The facilities were all well maintained and clean, with many common areas and a rooftop with laundry. After sleeping in so many hostel bunks, it was also lovely to have a capsule to myself! It appeared as if my room had not been swept before I checked in, but I checked in early so that may have been my fault. Thank you for the lovely stay!

very convenient location as it's about 1 minute walk from kaohsiung main station. it's a self checkin guest house, and you get your check-in information by either email or line messenger after you send your passport photo (for foreigners). i stayed here a few times. it's clean and comfortable and has good value for the money.

I arrived earlier than the check-in time so need to put my backpack at the designated place. The workers are very friendly. They showed me where to eat (lobby) as we cannot bring our food to our rooms. The toilet and shower room are very clean too! (They provide shampoo and shower gel located in each shower room). As there's no washing machine here, there's one small balcony beside the toilet to handwash and hang your washed clothes. The hostel provide free bread 🍞! (Can be your breakfast before starting the day). Before checking out, you just need to put your bed sheet and pillow case at the basket outside the toilet. Overall, i rate this hostel 5/5!!! Very comfortable! 😆
