Hostels in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, The location is good. Very near to the nearby lake, bus terminal and the Notre Dame Church. I booked a room with a city view but was not assigned to such a room upon our check in, though upon my verbal request, they transferred us to the room with a city view on the second floor. Unfortunately, we notice that the hallway going to that room is being used as a stocked area of some unused beds causing quite discomfort in walking along that way to our room. The comfort room also needs some repair and improvements. With a rusty and detached towel hanger inside. The room itself is okay but has a defective door knob. On our last night of stay, we were not able to have sound sleep due to continuous noise within the hotel Which we were not able to identify where the noise is coming from. Practically, we still recommend this hotel for those who are planning to have trips to Sa Pa

This home stay is located next to Ta Van village, about 8 kms outside Sa Pa town. Here you can get a glimpse of local family life. Accommodation is basic (don’t expect any luxury or heating) in dorms and private rooms. However, the service by the family is heart warming. It has a great terrace with sweeping views over the valley and with clear weather on the peak of mount Fansipan. Unfortunately the entire house lacks any comfortable chairs. (After a walk you want to hang around in something comfy…)…Matresses are firm too; for me too hard….The house is located on a small hill and is reached by 500mts steep road. If your bag is super heavy; ask for help. All and all a good place to spend a couple of days.

I love staying at Anh Tu Hotel. The room is big and very clean with two big comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. On top of that the service is incredible awesome. They assist us in booking tour ticket and sleeping bus to Halong. Especially, he offer us free shower after checking out. We find the people of Sapa, particularly the hotel operators have shown us more than the scenic view of mountains and rice terraces, but also kind and welcoming local people. We’re sure that we will come back to Sapa and stay at the same hotel in a short future.

The rooms were simple and okay for backpackers, but not super clean or modern. Might be somenoise at night, barking dogs, and inconsistent hot water. If you’re expecting comfort or a social hostel atmosphere, this may disappoint you. But if you just want a cheap, central place to sleep while exploring Sapa, it does the job.

The hotel is very well located,two streets of the market and a few minutes from the lake,innumerable quantity of places to eat,two big supermarkets at less than 200 metres.. The bus that comes from the border with China or from the train station that comes from Hanoi to a street.The hostel is new,very clean all and very quiet to rest.It has not many reviews because it is new.The lady that serves is very kind and Reserve 2 nights and extende 2 more..

This is a mixed-gender hostel (but with separate bathrooms and showers) costing 207฿ per night, but with a discount, it was 174฿, including a simple breakfast. The hotel is easy to find and located right by the road, but the directions on Google and Apple Maps, accessed through the Trip.com app, were incorrect. The hotel is well-organized with private beds. The pillows and blankets are clean and soft. It's not noisy, so I slept really well. The view and atmosphere while having breakfast, after a short walk upstairs, were excellent. The breakfast was just simple stir-fried noodles, but with such a great atmosphere, it was incredibly good value. 😄

일단 이름부터 마운틴뷰가 아니었다. 새벽에도착했는데 이름과 사진이 완전히달라 찾느라 크게애먹음. 방이 무지하게추웠다. 히터를틀어도 별로소용이없었음. 아침조식을 먹으러갔는데 빵쪼가리가 전부였음. 혹시모를 한국인들을위해 후기를 적습니다. 사파에 여행이 처음이시면 4성급이상호텔을 고르세요. 3성정도는 그냥 90년개 모텔정도라고 생각하시면됩니다.
