Hotel was great, a very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need, especially a fridge. However, we ate in the restaurant one night, and it took ages for the food to be served once ordered and was Luke warm when it arrived. Apparently, they were short staffed at the time, and one of the bar staff was serving us who knew nothing about what food was on offer. Otherwise, it's a great hotel but won't be dinning there again - sorry!

When I booked, I saw the route closest to the school, but the airport bus went down and we carried the luggage for more than half an hour. If there is no baggage for about 15-20 minutes, the bus can take several stops. Pure English breakfast, breaded omelette bacon ham and potatoes, as well as some side dishes and small West Point, fruit milk cereal tea bags and so on are simple and clean, in short to meet the demand. Parking is available at the hotel entrance. There is no elevator in the three-storey building. Narrow stairs, on the day of check-in, a waiter at the front desk was very nice, helped us carry the luggage upstairs, because I came to study so I brought a lot of luggage. On the day of check-out, only one waiter was busy at the front desk, so our mother and daughter It’s really a shame for the two to move down from the third floor. It is suitable for children with a quiet night and the rooms are air conditioned.

I have seen how they are from inside and outside, but trust me, this five-star hotel truly won my heart. The moment I entered, it gave me an old-fashioned feeling. The furniture was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The ability to play YouTube and watch movies added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient. Opposite the hotel, there are many food shops, and we went around 7:30 PM for food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. McDonald’s is just two minutes away, and a beautiful beach side is within a five-minute reach. The combination of luxurious accommodation and strategic location makes this hotel an absolute gem. This facility was a surprise in many ways. Across from the front of the hotel is a lovely little park. The check-in was easy (I could have even done an online check-in). The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was a studio apartment, nicely furnighed. There was a sink, hotplate, micro, and even a dishwasher which was unexpected.  I explored the surrounding neighborhood in several directions and found many places of interest. Some were historical, some were interesting ting eating & drinking venues It was not a long walk to the West Quay Mall for shopping or to the SeaCity museum.

The hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.

The room looks at the yacht port. It is recommended to open a room that can see the Atlantic side. The scenery is good. You have to tell the front desk. In the early morning, there was a motorcycle blasting street, the bar downstairs was noisy, and I was prepared. Breakfast was on the sixth floor. You can see a good view. The small town of Southampton is not seen. It is not recommended to stay in this city. It is recommended to live in Portsmouth next door.

Good location. The room is very basic. Had a triple bunk bed, lower bed was fine, but upper bunk was not clean and had bed bugs. Avoid room with bunk bed. The cards for the door kept not working and I had to go to the reception on multiple occasions to reprogram it. Parking is rather expensive (£12 a day) and I was not told that it is chargeable when registering the plate number at the reception at first. It was very noisy at night, so don't expect any good sleep if you need to have a window even slightly open at night. I could see rats around the hotel. I will not be back at Ibis budget.

Hotel was in a great location for where we needed to be. Only used hotel to sleep and for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't the best, was warm and got cold quickly, however, overall enjoyed our stay. Stay clear of the trees when parking, our car was a mess on our return.

Ensuite room was adequate, with kettle & coffee etc, also a fan which was great as very warm. Kitchen available with microwave and washing machine. Digital lock on door a puzzle, took several attempts to open. Front door lock broken. Shower cubicle has several areas of no grout. Room and general areas could do with a touch up paint.
