I would definitely come back here again. the rooms are centrally heated during winter and can get quite warm!

The hotel allows direct access to the ski sites and the rental shop provides numerous options for skiing and snow boarding lessons. The room is clean and well maintained. It also has washing and drying machine. Beautiful view from the balcony too!

Honestly, it couldn’t be more convenient! There were plenty of food places around for easy dinners after a long day on the slopes, and the hotel’s breakfast was Chinese-style and absolutely satisfying. It gave us all the energy we needed for the day ahead – just perfect for both kids and adults! The service was another highlight. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and traveling moms know how much little things like that matter. Plus, the hotel even offers a convenient transfer to the train stations, which made our trip so much easier. No headaches or complicated logistics – just smooth sailing! We had such a wonderful time and will absolutely be coming back. If you’re planning a family ski trip, I can’t recommend the Thaiwoo Hotel enough. It checked all the boxes for us, and we can’t wait to return!

The front desk lady saw that I was alone with my child and took the initiative to help me choose a snow view room, saying that I could see my child skiing in the room. The cleaning lady gave us a lot of water every day, saying that the room was dry and gave us some water. It was particularly cold on the first day and took the initiative to ask us if we were cold. She cleaned the room while we were having breakfast because I spent more time in the room and was afraid of disturbing me at other times! This room type is also very good. One shallow experience is not enough. The room arranged for us can see the beautiful ski trails. The room is very large. In addition to two beds, there is also a folding double sofa. A fantastic hotel right at the Jinshanling park gate. This is the best Great Wall location I have been to out of 4. Much better than Bandaling and Simatai. Parts are unrestored and parts have been and you can choose to walk for kilometres with Simatai in the distance. Winter is a great time to visit. The staff in the hotel treated us like VIPs as there were few guests. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Hotel is quite new and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. On the wall you are often the only one in the section.

You can choose to go skiing during the day of check-in or the next day. I wanted to save some money. I found an outside ski equipment rental on the small 🍠, but it was put 🐦! ! ! No integrity! ! ! Finally, I rented it in the hotel. The process was very smooth. I wore the wrong shoes. The room we were given only had a small window but it had a nice view and comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the room is a bit dated and had strong smell of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking. Afternoons tea is a nice feature

The hotel is a 2-floor section of a much bigger building structure. The room I stayed was clean with light decors and vaulted ceiling making me feel cozy and relaxed. The king-size bed was firm and conformable for my back. The hotel rooms and facilities are not extravagant but practical, making me feel at home. Although the location is not city-center, there is a metro station across the street. The breakfast serves both cold and hot dishes, much more selection than the ones you find in a typical Marriot Residence/Springhill suite. The hotel is tea-house themed, perfect for quiet conversations. The service was great and they tried their best to accommodate my needs, including late check-out. Love to stay there again next time I visit the city.

However, the sound insulation is average. You can hear noises from the corridor or the next room at night. If you mind, it is recommended to bring earplugs. The breakfast variety is ok and tastes good, but you have to go early. If you go after 9 o'clock, many popular foods will not be available and there will be fewer choices. Overall, the price/performance ratio is acceptable, suitable for friends who don't have high requirements for sound insulation and are used to getting up early to eat breakfast!

We booked into the Holiday Inn Suites at ”Holiday Inn Langfang”, this time around. Our previous visits to this hotel, were not particularly good, with service ”a lack of service”, being the primary reason. Nevertheless, we wanted to try the ”Suites” section this time, and also see if things have improved. Unfortunately, we were yet again inconvenienced at check in. This is the only hotel, in China, in our experience that seem to not be favourable towards foreign guests. Bearing in mind that we have visited numerous hotels, and have been living and working here for around four years. Other than the most unpleasant check in process, our overall stay was fairly good. The ”suite” has a fairly spacious layout, and the rate is relatively affordable. We were very disappointed to learn that the swimming pool, was not operational (this whilst it's advertised on Trip.com). We do enjoy the Breakfast at this hotel, in fact, we have breakfast here at least once a week. Previously, we found that the Dish Name Cards at the Breakfast Buffet, are only in Chinese. This is still the case, WHY? As it's an ”International Brand”, hence we expect a level of English as well. This can be such a lovely Hotel, if only they would work on improving their service levels. With that said, we received excellent service from ”Allen”, whom tried his best to meet our requirements. (Perhaps, his management, could learn some professional courtesy from him). There are numerous hotels around, and if this one wishes to remain busy, best they improve their service, especially towards foreign guests.

The bed is so comfortable, I slept so well, the room is big, the toilet is even bigger, very clean, the service is good, it is relatively quiet, the bath water is comfortable, it is next to the mall, convenient for shopping, and there are small fruits. The only drawback is that the bottle of water is too small, it is gone in one gulp
