APPLE shares a building with a larger hotel, tucked away in a corner of the building's parking garage. The front desk is just a small table, where two polite Malaysian ladies check guests in. Although they don't speak Chinese, communication is possible through smartphone apps. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM. Luggage storage is free, but items are simply placed behind the front desk in a small concrete partition, without any receipts given, only an assurance of CCTV surveillance. Despite some inner apprehension, our luggage was safe and sound when we returned in the evening. The room is split-level: a double bed downstairs, and upstairs, another double bed and a single bed, making it perfect for families of 4-5 or groups of friends traveling together. Malacca isn't very large, and the hotel is about a twenty-minute walk from the Dutch Square, which is quite convenient. The apartment complex has a mini-supermarket, a swimming pool, and a ping-pong table, so the facilities are quite comprehensive. Crucially, the price is incredibly attractive, at only 200+ RMB per night, making it the best value for money hotel of our entire trip. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay with The Shore Hotel. Attentive staff, full with smile. I'm enjoying my stay despite the bad others experiences. Definitely will be back ! Love how close the Melaka river is, the got Jetty in front of the building. You can take water taxi to Bandar Hilir and others places . Walking will took 15 minutes along the river, just follow the river you will arrive at rumah terbalik, Bandar Hilir, Taming Sari, Jonker Walk and plaza Merdeka. Breakfast is top notch. Got many variety. Definitely worth it with the price you pay.

We stayed at this service apartment for one night and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it perfect for our needs. We even used the washing machine to do laundry before heading back to Singapore. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the free parking was a welcome bonus. The car park is newly built, with plenty of space and easy parking, and we appreciated having a dedicated slot. While it's not the most walkable location, with supermarkets and restaurants a short drive away, it's easy to get around by car. And if you're craving local food, Grad food is a great option! Overall, we were delighted with our stay and got great value for the price. We'd highly recommend this service apartment and plan to return on our next trip to Malacca.

Great accomodation. Thank you to FO staff namely Helmi for the free upgrade to Premier Lounge room at level 20. Facilities also in good condition except tv channel and lift. Easy connection to all places. Just walking distance only. Tv channel - not many variety and unclear picture. Hotel to consider to change the tv channel package such as Astro, Vision, etc or modulator also from analog to digital, maybe? Lift - on checkout day, we had waiting for the lift from level 20 to level G for almost half an hour. Got 8 lift but non can enter. Traffic jammed. Till end up, maintenance/security staff need to block lift to pickup all the guest from top level. Hotel need to improve the traffic during peak hours. That's all from my side. good to be back here after a while. but the toilet irritates me. the water stagnates on the floor and cannot flow into the drainage as it should, the beds are not comfortable enough, problems also occurred when i want to empty the water in the bath tub - the scrubber problematic. I was given the room number 1403.

Hotel is strategically located. Room was nice except there were spots on the duvet. There was a soap dispenser in the shower which we assume it was all in one soap (hair and body) since there was no label or shampoo provided in the bathroom. Didn't interact much with the hotel staffs as we were out all day but the receptionist was kind enough to explain a out the Tourism Tax to us👍

1. Stated there’s an upgrade in bedsheets so it’s higher quality more comfortable, that’s good to know  2. Toilet is very dirty with spider and weird insect I saw in just 4 days stay.  3. The blanket without the cover is very dirty and cream colour 4. Chair has blood stain  5. Toilet shower area is mouldy 6. Want more toilet paper or bath supplies or their tiny water? Add money. 1 layer toilet paper can last you 4 days for 2 pax? 2 mini 50 ml bottle can last you for 1 day?  7. No toothbrush  8. No room slippers  9. Basin water splashes everywhere, might as well shower standing near the basin.  Honestly this place has so much potential if house keeping really takes care and clean the property  There is 1 big mega mall opposite which is super convenient  Quite near jonker street too 15 min walk.  Staffs are polite and nice, check in and out process when it’s your turn, is pretty fast but there’s always long queues and waiting time.

Located in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it.

Location: easy to find and surrounding is really nice to walk and good street food around. Parking: a separate parking bays that needs to tag in with either of the payment cards for access. Upon leaving the hotel, need to remember to validate the card for hotel guest free parking facility. It is a non-covered parking so if rain expect inconvenience and if sunshine expect excess heat in the car. NOT really friendly but acceptable. Room: good bed good pillows, floor not so clean can see some hairfall wasn't wiped off. Bath tub pipe maybe a bit old or seldom in used hence the water flowed out was yellowish. The linen is soft but can know they are quite old, that old linen smell is quitw obvious. Aircond: is either we don't know how to operate, it can't seemed to be able to be adjusted to the temperature we want. It will become quite warm in the midnight. Sound proof: SUPER BAD 👎 Imagine we will know what is happening exactly in the bathroom and toilet. The noise from the road till midnight is even clearer. We are staying at lvl 8 and the tallest is lvl 10. Service: Good hospitality and polite. Restaurant breakfast: not up to par, honest feedback.
