Hotels in New City Area, Lijiang

Easy to find as is the tallest building in the town. The hotel has two parts to it- the International main building and a smaller 'local' style Which is where is stayed. Really lovely setting Just wasn't too impressed by the room Which had obviously seen better days. Pool on roof with a great view was a nice touch and breakfast had me set off for my journey in a good mood. Would come again, Just Hope for a better room. PS: Collins at reception speaks English Really well and has been working at the hotel since it was built twenty years ago and is a great Welcome host

My family and I were staying in Ibis Lijiang hotel on 23-25 DEC 2023. First of all, the front line staff are polite and helpful. They are nice to room guests and always ready to help. They were helping me to operate the washing machine which provided free of charge by the hotel. The hotel also provide free cooktail drink to all guests which is an extra points. The room is clean and spacious and housekeeping is done perfectly every day. Ibis Lijiang hotel is near to PERFECT for me.If you ask me to give an opinion to improve the services. I would suggest to improve the variety of the breakfast. I would definitely to stay in Ibis Lijiang if I visit Lijiang again.

Hotel service touchpoints were insane! 1. Hotel staffs will create a wechat group for u to contact them if you need help during your stay. (I added them on wechat first) 2. There afternoon tea session and tibet tea gathering at night. 3. Staffs help me to order a meituan delivery as i cant (cos foreigner) 4. After i checked out, staff even ask if i have reached the next destination. Highly recommend hotel! Even for foreigners going to lijiang! Do check out the view at the top

Very pleasant stay, easy checkin and helpful, friendly staff offering me and upgrade on arrival. Breakfast was fine, although heavily Chinese style. Rooms very clean, and housekeeping did a great job each day. This was my first stay at an ATour chain hotel and I would happily do so again. Great location for Old Town and Heilongtan Park.

After careful selection online, I booked two twin rooms in Shanchi. It felt great to stay there for three days, with the warmth and fragrance of the B&B and the configuration of the hotel. Lijiang is still cold at night in winter. The room not only has an independent air conditioner with good heating effect, but also a heated bath heater in the bathroom. You don’t have to worry about catching cold when you take a bath or sleep. I was worried about bathing the children before, but I gave them to them every day after moving in. He washes. 2. The whole room is smartly decorated, Xiaoou butler, the toilet is smart, induction flushing, and the seat cushion is automatically heated and warm. Smart projector, smart curtains, voice control switch, my son and daughter shout happily every day, and there is a button to turn on the shower in the bathroom. 3. The service staff are very meticulous in their work. In addition to glasses, there are also disposable cups on the sink for optional use. It is really thoughtful and I like it. His house has 6 floors of guest rooms, and there is an elevator to go up and down. However, we have a lot of luggage, and the front desk enthusiastically helped us with our luggage. During the few days I stayed, I encountered cleaning staff pushing a cleaning cart every day, waiting to change the bedding and do hygiene. The room had been cleaned when I came back. However, during the few days I stayed there, I was asked to do cleaning only without changing the bedding, which was too troublesome. 4. The hotel is in a good location and the transportation is very convenient. You can go to Qixing Street right out of the hotel. After crossing Qixing Street, you can reach the ancient city waterwheel in a few minutes. It only takes two minutes to walk to the bus station. There are buses that go directly to Shuhe Ancient Town. I want to complain about Lijiang’s 103 tourist line. I haven’t waited for it from beginning to end. It’s like it doesn’t exist. 101 to Xueshan is very good, and there is also No. 5B to Shuhe. The hotel is conveniently located by bus or taxi. 5. There are two night markets nearby, especially the Qixing Street Night Market close to the hotel. The flowers in it are delicious and the taste is very pure. I ate two portions in one go. 6. There is a public squat toilet on the seventh floor. Those who are not used to toilets can go to the seventh floor. I get up at night to go to the bathroom. In order not to affect my family’s rest, I go to the public squat toilet on the seventh floor. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the roof, and you can also dry your clothes. 7. The warm tips from the landlady are accurate and practical. I originally planned to rent a car to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but the landlady told me that I don’t need to take the 101 line to Zhongyi Market. It costs 15 yuan per person. The bus leaves in 5-10 minutes and goes to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. On the way, various self-driving cars and chartered cars were stuck in a long queue, and then the bus 101 rushed all the way through the dedicated bus channel. It was simply not very satisfying. When we came back from the snow mountain, we were thoughtfully reminded that we should not take a shower or wash our hair if we have a little bit of fever, otherwise it will make us more uncomfortable. I have never seen this in any guide. I have written so much without knowing it. I just blame her family for having too many benefits. I won’t go into details. I don’t need to be selective when I go to Lijiang. Just choose her family.

I arranged a B&B during my Spring Festival trip to Lijiang. I'm so glad I found this one. The boss is very warm and easy-going. Although we stayed in Lijiang not long ago and were in a hurry every time we stayed at the B&B, we had a good chat with him. When we arrived at the store, we arranged a room with the best view. The room was very large, with a small living room, and you could view the snow-capped mountains from inside the room. The afternoon tea provided by the boss on the fifth floor was great. I like the apple and crabapple tea made by the boss the most😍. The boss took the initiative to help carry luggage and find a parking space during check-in and check-out. The service was great. Before leaving, I also gave him a souvenir🎁 Their garden on the fifth floor is unique. I came here just for the pictures. I’m not disappointed. It’s very beautiful. I like it😍

We have a wonderful time at Liqiang and Hampton by Hilton was situated slightly away from the Ancient city but it’s a nice walk over there in the evening. After spending time at the ancient city, we could take a taxi back and it’s very convenient. The room is clean and spacious and what impressed us is the hospitality of the front desk personnel. A special call out to Lisa who helped checked us in efficiently and referred us to the lady who helped arranged our trip to the Jade Dragon Snow mountain and the Liqiang Impression performance. Otherwise, we would not be able to secure the tickets and had a seamless pickup, tour and return arrangement. Lisa also quickly offered a competitive room rate when we mentioned that we wanted to extend our stay. We are grateful for that. We also want to call out the wonderful service extended by the front desk manager, Linda who personally delivered a fruit platter to our room and checked whether everything was as expected. We can only say the service is exceptional and we decided to stay another night at Liqiang on our return trip from Shangri La. Linda helped arrange everything despite the late notice from us. Thank you very much for making our stay enjoyable. Will definitely recommend our friends and in fact when we return to Kunming, we may stay at the chain again. This stay has left us with a such pleasant experience.

Good location only 3 minutes walk to Lijiang bus station and 1 km away from the old town, very helpful staff contacting via the WeChat. The free upgraded room I got at the first day was great but the room I booked on the last day was closed to the wooden stairs so it quite noisy all night till the early morning. They also provided a small group day tour to Jade dragon snow mountain and Blue Moon valley, the driver can’t speak English but he and the hotel’s owner help me a lot.
