Not a Thai Hospitality the hotel promises. Absolute rude behavior from check-in officer and duty manager on check-out date. The booking has 3 breakfasts included but the attendant initially claimed that breakfasts were not included and took 1h+ to check the bf and fixed the issue. After check out, since we had an evening flight we unwind at lobby seating area (with reception notified and cleared) but duty manager at ground floor (a european woman) came to check on us and explicitly told that this is unacceptable. Tried to contact hotel staff to write a complain but no one reacted or assisted on getting a duty manager details. An absolute disgrace service thats makes our Abu Dhabi trip much less enjoyable.

We have been to many hotels in Abu Dhabi and I must say that Marriott Downtown is byfar our favorite and have been going there everytime we go to Abu Dhabi now. They have great food, attentive and curtious staff. From the housekeeping to the restaurants and to the Lounge! Miss George, Osama, Michelle, Christian, too bad I cannot name everyone here! Can't wait to go back:-)

I booked this hotel through Agoda on the 22nd of October 2021. On the 22nd of November, o received an email from Agoda that my reservation have been cancelled due to wrong rate. I was wondering if the rate was wrong, why they did not cancel during this month, why wait for a whole month when all other hotels rates went up. I was depdending on that reservation and didn't look for other hotels when the rates were reasonable. Now when all the rates went up, they cancelled my reservation to receive other reservations with increased price. I never thought a hotel which should be centered around customer satisfaction more than the money would act like this.

Not bad, the room is not very big, but the facilities are very complete, the hotel service is also very nice, breakfast is not bad, this is the first time to stay in an overseas business trip, the price is more matching the company standard, but also in line with their own expectations.

Better stay any other 3 or 4 star hotels as you will definitely find many hotels for the same price. The place is a hell of you need a parking space. Staff will make sure that you feel it’s a 2 star hotel. There is no manager at all in this hotel if you have any issues to resolve, only receptionists who created the bosses out of themselves. They hold my passport for three days without reason and returned only when I complained. I was told over the phone that there is 24 hour paid parking however it was a normal mawaqif parking spaces which is almost impossible to find if you arrive to the hotel in the evening. It was just fun for them to observe how I was hustling to get parking space and better rate for extending my stay. However, the guys in the restaurant and the security who worked during the day was very kind and helpful.

We chose to stay at the Marriott Exec Apartments whilst in the city for the F1. We were a family of 4, and with two 17 year old with us space and privacy was important! The apartments suited us perfectly. Oodles of space, the boys had a double bed each and their own en-suite. Views were great from the floor to ceiling windows and there is a well equipped full kitchen too if you needed it. Our only critique would be that the second ensuite needs a shower screen as the dividing wall just doesn't come out far enough to stop the floor getting drenched and there is a serious lack of mirrors! A full length mirror in the hall or living area would be useful. Facilities are good as you can also use those at the main hotel which is all connected - no need to step outside. Boys enjoyed the gym and the roof top pool is small but perfectly adequate and again, great views! All the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly those at breakfast. Location is good. We chose this hotel based on the apartment style accommodation and the price, it was a good 40 minutes by car to Yas Island but hotels there were crazy money for F1 weekend! However if you are wanting to get around all of Abu Dhabi it's fairly central so worked well for us as we were here for 5 nights and visited the Corniche, the Aquarium etc. As it's not a terribly ”touristy” area there are no restaurants nearby, just a lot of fast food outlets and a mall across the road with a food hall in it. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it if you have older children and need more space than a traditional hotel room.

I went just to have some drinks to the club on 2nd floor it was Indian it was really nice but after I want to try some other outlets it’s really terrible I went to to the r floor it was also Indian bar but they were playing the songs as from who they gets the tips or money u can say the rest they were ignoring after I went to the 1 floor as I got told one of the staff that it’s open but after I went there they ask me for the table charge even after ask another guy he show me the table without telling me about the tables charge because it’s even doesn’t exit it make me feel that they just want to make mony there Overall it was really disgusting experience

OK so it's COLD outside, it's around 15-20 degrees every night, and every room does have its own ac unit, YET, THEY INSIST ON KEEPING THE AC IN THE HALLWAYS ON. And they don't just keep it on, they keep it FREEZING, which in turn obviously makes the ROOMS FREEZING. I tried asking nicely MANY TIMES, Heck the last time I even BEGGED them to turn it down but they refused...? I mean, what is even the logic here? The AC exists to regulate the temperature when it's hot, why would you crank it up ALL THE WAY when it's COLD OUTSIDE?! Was there ANY thought process involved here? And why would you refuse to turn it down?!?! ITS ALREADY COLD OUTSIDE. Ofcourse, they made me sick from my first day and I didn't get better until I went back home to dubai and slept a night in a room that wasn't freezing. When I say the room was freezing I'm not exaggerating at all, it was FREEZING.
