Hotel location is very good, basically walking distance. The parking lot is right at the back door of the hotel. It is very convenient, 16 knives a day, after check-out, you can stop there and no longer charge in the afternoon. Breakfast is not bad. Two 1 meter 5 large beds, no extra bed required.

Surprised by some of the inconsistent reviews as I had a flawless stay. Was in town for the NCAA tournament. Room was ready when I arrived at 8:30 and staff was more than pleasant throughout the stay Solid breakfast buffet you could use your Diamond credit for. Room was clean and more than adequate with good TV and with great location. Would definitely seek this place out again.

Fairfield Inns are usually of a good standard, but this one downtown was very disappointing. I booked this over other options due to a typically good breakfast. When I arrived there was a printed paper on the window saying ”No Breakfast Today”. Realizing things could happen like staff out, I asked what was the issue and if they were doing something for the guests like a credit to a breakfast or points for the issue. I was told ”I don't know, we were just told no breakfast” and also that there was to be no compensation for this. Sorry, but breakfast was a big part of the deal of staying at this hotel, and the response was unsatisfactory. When I showered the next morning I noticed something on the towel and found a short curly hair - not the kind you typically want to see in a bathroom, wondering if the towels were actually fresh. The next problem was that I was still charged the 4.95 enhanced Internet fee even though I am an Elite member. I noticed this on my bill later but did not want to go through the hassle of calling the hotel and getting a review and correction for five dollars. I suggest you skip this Fairfield and choose a different option near the city.

This is one of the most disappointing Marriotts (and hotels, generally) that I've ever stayed in, in decades. The public areas are fine, if worn. The rooms are very worn, walls scuffed, outlets loose, so forth. But the major problem is the general filth. Dirty room to begin with, then the maid service simply made the bed and left new towels. They did not vacuum, clean bathroom floor or dust. Instead of resupplying the coffee and cups, they just ignored used cups and pods, not leaving new coffee pods or cups. Basically, there was no housekeeping. I've actually never seen anything like it in a hotel at this price point. I'd avoid this hotel. They apparently do not have staff or don't care about cleanliness. I couldn't wait to get out.

Still my go to choice in Albany. Clean, quiet and convenient to the legislative buildings and Albany medical. Decent pricing with free continental breakfast and a convenience shop in the lobby. The staff is very friendly and willing to assist as needed. The ADA Accessible room is not the best but adequate and average. Huge TV in living room and bedroom. All rooms are suites with stove and kitchen.pots, pans and dishes were clean and useable. Easily allows late check in and outs. Paid parking available that is very reasonable! Pool, jacuzzi and fitness area were all clean and secure.

The hotel overall feels good, quiet, clean, is the general environment nearby, there is no beautiful view outside the window, eating is very convenient, there are oil stations and fried ** downstairs, very good, driving from various attractions in the city is a foot of oil, there are many restaurants nearby. We are attending the graduation ceremony of the children, and the room booked is a twin bed room. Check in on the 17th and leave on the 20th. The hotel is very comfortable, the breakfast is rich, the taste is good; the big bed is very large, the two adults sleep very comfortable; clean and tidy, good service. Opposite is the university and bus station, with convenient transportation. A very satisfying experience!

I have stayed at several extended stay america hotels but this one is by far the greatest. I honestly feel like if you have any problem they will make sure to take care of it. Excellent management and wonderful staff members. The manager here at this location is such a hard working woman. Gabbie goes above and beyond to make sure each and every person is taken care of. She has such an amazing positive attitude even when she is faced with difficulties. I promise with a manager like this its no wonder that this place is ran so well. I also appreciate hardworkers like Chi and several others. Chi is always proactive and positive. This woman knows how to give great customer service. When I walk up to the front desk she is always attentive and ready to answer any questions I might have. There is also a very tall guy who works at night usually and he is just as awesome, I can't remember his name but he is definitely a hardworker and tries to make sure everyone is taken care of. I will always keep coming here becasue the customer service and the prices are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Everybody keep up the great work!!11
