Popular Almaty 4-star Hotels

It's a very well know hotel with beautiful outlook. There's a grand ballroom on the Ground floor next to the entrance which could be rather noisy for guests even till 11pm. They at first tried to put me to a room on a floor under overhaul renovation which is dim and dirty with renovationn debris and tools everywhere (see pics posted). I refused and insisted to have a change. The changed one is much normal.

Hotel Almaty Hotel has a large parking lot, is located relatively close to the center. Take the hotel for the pool. Worked remotely, Moscow time, thought to go swimming in the morning. Come, and he is on repair. No water, clean. It was taken for 5 days, he was poured in meetings the day and the water was defending (not going to check, so said). If I knew in advance - would not book. The gym is in a terrible condition, small. Good hammam and sauna. Towels are asked to take their own from the room, although they are in the spa zone. There is a petrol station near the hotel. Mad cashier women 24 hours a day in the megaphone yell advice to customers. Even at night! The fact that they are under the windows of the house and the hotel does not embarrass them. One night the girls came to the next room at the call. Knocked to us at 3:00 a.m., then with laughter left, which confused. Very fun for them, apparently. In addition to the noisy neighbor in the room there was constant noise in the sewer as if the pump worked. Breakfasts were good, varied, but not enough dessert or bakes - all cruisans some accumulated. Try to have lunch once in the hotel. Dear, long cooked. Aperol brought almost without the Aperol itself, like a champagne with juice. The Internet sometimes lost minutes on 5 which is uncomfortable for remote work. From the hotel there were unpleasant memories, never going for a second time.

Very nice hotel. Decoration is new. Location is convenient. Receptionist and concierge are enthusiastic and very helpful. Bed is comfort. Air conditioning is good. Very nice hotel. The decoration is novel, the location is very convenient, and the front desk and bellmen are very friendly and helpful. The bed is very comfortable, the air conditioner is also very comfortable, and there is no noise.

I had an 11 hour layover between my flight from Dubai to my flight to Atyrau and was really searching for a hotel near the airport that was convenient and reasonably priced. Grand Hotel Erbil is both of those. I made the booking online with the option to pay on arrival. The booking made provision for a free shuttle pickup from the airport and a very reasonable transfer back the following morning. The hotel confirmed everything by Whatsapp. Contactless payment. Clean room. Clean linen. Friendly and efficient service. I ordered a simple burger and chips via WhatsApp and the food arrived hot and fresh. Minibar is fully stocked and reasonably priced. Their menu is extensive (55 page book) and they cater for everything from a bowl of hummus to platters of meats, cakes, cocktails, etc. For a traveller, this hotel is well worth it. A hotel with a very good room and location. Opposite the University of Science and Technology, you can walk to a supermarket in ten minutes, which contains a lot of things. The room is very big, the bed is very, very comfortable, the room is quiet, and I sleep well every day. One set of toiletries for one person. Only the basic set. The breakfast is really rich, five-star standard, various meat, egg, milk and fruit desserts, so satisfying. The only downside of the hotel is that the network is really bad, basically useless, only use your own mobile phone to have better traffic. It is strongly recommended to improve. I mentioned it to the front desk, but there was no improvement. All others are very satisfied. But considering the network, it may not come next time.

Rather simple and quite clean structure, located not far from the center of Almaty. My room was quite spacious and clean, equipped with a balcony, bathroom with shower, courtesy set, in particular I found the bed very comfortable. Overall it is a good structure, in my opinion not yet accustomed to welcoming tourists from all over the world. Breakfast and language barriers (only one receptionist out of four I've had to deal with spoke English) to be improved. For the rest, I would recommend it.

Stayed there for a night during my KZ trip, the hotel is located at a very comfortable location , the hotel rooms looks like more of heritage room with a few old decor plates and felt really warm, they provided with all the necessity services, and a secured cloak room was also there, I kept my luggage after checkout for almost a day and they were really helpful to store them at their place without any hassle and provided back the same in couple of minutes, They staff here speaks fluent English as well and take extra efforts to help their guest. Would definitely recommend to stay and get to know the services of the same.

Everything was perfect, the service, the room, the breakfast... Denis the concierge/doorman was beyond helpful. Location was superb, so many great restaurants close by, quiet neighborhood with parks and walking areas.

Our July 3-12, 2023, family stay at the Novotel Almaty City Center Hotel for our son and daughter-in-law’s Qyz Uzatu bride’s wedding was memorable and outstanding. The staff was accommodating beyond expectations. Examples of services and assistance furnished include: 1) gorgeous congratulatory bouquet of roses, cake, and bottle of champagne for bride and groom upon their arrival, 2) Front Desk Receptionist Elmira ordered, negotiated, and “babysat” multiple wedding flower bouquets the day of the bride’s wedding event, 3) Deputy General Manager Yevgeniy personally helped finalize five 10-day room reservations, following up multiple times ensuring our full satisfaction, then emailing us a farewell and thank you note for our stay, 4) Front Desk Manager Altyn happily assisted with various requests, 5) entire staff was cooperative, positive, and professional, and 6) hotel restaurant’s breakfast buffets were delicious, and lunches were quite satisfying, too. Additionally, the hotel location was fantastic b/c: it’s adjacent to the large public plaza with memorial and fountains, as well as the tram to the nearby mountaintop which had restaurants, zoo, amusement park, etc.; walkable city center with nearby restaurants, shopping, green spaces, and more. Based on our family’s experience, we zealously endorse and recommend the Novotel Almaty City Center Hotel and will fondly remember our stay and the hotel’s kind, thoughtful, and service-oriented staff for taking care of our family.

first of all its a beautiful city, my experience with this hotel from day 1 was positive , very curtious staff ,nice ambience rooms are quite good and clean, the prices are not very high, room service also did good part , the most relaxing part of my stay was when i went to GO-SPA, it was awsome, fantastic facilities in the spa, very positive staff and the pool was clean and all emminities was updated, the Hygiene part was taken care very properly,over all i give 5 out of 5for AISER hotel, and would recomend to My friends also.
