Popular Alor Setar 4-star Hotels

The room is below expectations. It seems like uncomfortable with the room ambiance feels like old abandoned apartment. The room wallpaper got tear out here and there. Plus, the room even don’t has a day curtain and the window is not tinted at all. So it see through from the outside. The toilet has unpleasant odour with some of the part tiles in the toilet is dirty. But the room has been provided with good amenities and upgrade technology. I believe previously this is one of a good 5-stars hotel.. but now, i think the room has been lack of maintenance. The breakfast buffet seems like 3-stars hotel breakfast only. The foods are ok..

Water heater not functioning, so everyday i have my shower with cold. Take premium parking and paid RM30, but 3 times i go and out, need to lift that heavy stand alone. Their staff just watching from inside. Hotel not well maintain, toilet got many stain. Even guest toilet at lobby dirty. Breakfast just middle range good.

Overall, I had a great experience with when i stay here. Owner was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect for family.

i was your long stay guests. i stayed for 8 nights. the management should really look into the cleanliness of the room. i do understand that we're under MCO before this, but the management shouldn't neglect room cleanliness. because of the cleanliness, my baby got ring worm infection. the F&B also need to be train again. never ever forget what is in your menu and make the guests wait for their orders especially room service order. i ordered Nasi Goreng Cakar Rimau set if I not mistaken. the set comes with drink. unfortunately when they send it to my room, there is no drink. i go down to restaurant and asked if there is any drink for the set, and the staff they said yes. i noticed that there are not feel responsible for what happened. hello ..!! I'm your in-house guests and a long stay guests. please have a bit of hospitality sense. there is one incident that i will never forget. the menu if I'm not forget is Dara Pujaan set. it basically half boiled eggs. i ordered two times. the 1st one coming without bread. the second one was the worse. they give me raw eggs for the set. so, after that incident, i decided to order from outside. i have ordered a few meals from Food Panda and i asked for plate from the restaurant. they give me plastic fork and spoon which is in my opinion it's not really appropriate. the staff who answered the phone should be more polite. the way they not to say rude, but then more to unfriendly. reception also need to be more alert. since the hotel allowed food delivery from 3rd party, the reception need to show a good customer service by calling the guests room to pickup the package. it's a good gesture. no harm to do that. i stayed on 4th floor. the maid for 4th floor was very good and helpful. i forgot to asked her name. i hope the management look seriously into their service. don't embarrass PKNK

the staff hotel so friendly . The location is near to the shopping mall. view at night is very nice coz can see the menara alor star. The room is big

It's been long time I didn't write my review about my travelling activity. End of July I was staying with my husband and my toddler son.i don't mine if the hotel was old or else.however the service that the reception give so not called hotelier. The reception staff all are gentlemen,no politeness and happy to serve a guest. My room very clean and big.however the aroma when you open the room not nice.its smell so sticky. During night time there is no air conditioning.My kattle in room got problem we have report to them at reception but no action , I can't boil hot water to make my son milk.its need my husband come down at down stairs to take it by him self.the hotel staff not show that their wanted to help us. So for me even it's cheap but not worthy to stay if the staff not willing to help.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. I would consider this hotel as a budget hotel. For that category, this hotel is pretty good. Firstly, I like the location very much. It’s by the main street and just across the Lotus Hypermarket (formerly known as Tesco). There are many shops around it. In the evening, there are many stalls and food trucks that sell delicious street foods. You won’t go hungry here. The room size is decent and the bed and pillow are very comfortable. The room is clean. I would have given this at least a 4 star rating but I gave 3 star because of the following: - the shower water becomes stagnant because the flow was blocked or something. It took a long while before the water subsided. - getting a parking slot near the hotel during the day was quite a challenge because there are many popular shops there plus a major bank which customers took up most of the parking spaces. At night, the parking is quite empty. - that guy who was manning the front desk when I checked in was not friendly at all. Not sure what his problems were but being a customer facing staff, he should at least show a bit more pleasant personality. - there’s a sink right after you enter the room! It’s outside the bathroom. I don’t quite understand the logic of this room design. In summary, it’s decent hotel and the room rate is very reasonable esp if you book through their official website. There’s a supposedly 5-star hotel just next door. I have stayed there before. Given a choice, I would definitely stay at this Leverage Business hotel rather than the so-called 5 star hotel. It has it hits and misses but certainly value for money.

Superb! Really recommended! Strategic location and there a lot of shops down there which you can eat, there supermarket, convenience store, restaurants, deserts, cafes and lot more. The room as per advertised in the website. The hospitality is really good and functionable. The space is quite huge beyond the expectation and the price is affordable. We booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you👍🏻
