We thoroughly enjoyed our one night’s stay. The front desk clerk was open and friendly, offering suggestions and pleasant conversation. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Loved the barn door between the room and the restroom area. Biggest TV I’ve ever found in a hotel room - did not need my glasses!!! Nearby restaurants - that you can walk to - offer food discounts by showing your room key. Breakfast was good with hot options. Hallways are a bit drab, but we did not linger there. The price was excellent value for money.

Stopped here while traveling on I-99. The room was very nice and comfortable and the area around the hotel offered a great selection of restaurants. However, the public areas of the hotel (lobby, elevators, hallway) were not very clean. The floors were sticky and dirty looking and the carpet was a little dingy in the halls. When you first pull up to the hotel, the dirty concrete outside of the lobby is the first thing you see. Oddly, the room was clean. So I might would stay here again since there were no problems with the room, but they definitely need to clean up the public areas.

Adequate hotel with friendly staff. Stopped overnight on a long road trip. Was greeted by several signs indicating that they did not serve locals, or allow pets. While I appreciated the lack of a party atmosphere and local one night stands, being greeted by several signs saying who they did not serve was somewhat off-putting and may want to be revisited. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and hallways somewhat dated . Decent place to sleep and no complaints.

Great hotel. Seems to be the only one that’s actually in downtown Altoona. Seems new and modern. Very clean. Lots of parking. Breakfast was better than average for an included one. Restaurants and fast food in walking distance. It’s about a block from Amtrak and there is a pedestrian bridge to the Railroaders Museum which is worth checking out.

Surrounded by mountains, there is a shopping supermarket nearby, two or three minutes drive

We have stayed at this facility before so we made a return reservation. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our stay was five days, and we enjoyed our stay in this motel. We are from the area of this motel so it provided us a place to rest, prepare some meals in the room, and just be comfortable. If and when we return to the area, we will try to reserve a room there. We had a number of family members and former classmates meet us at the hotel, and the lobby was an excellent meeting location.
