Very good hotel, very close to the center, surrounded by many Chinese restaurants, many shopping malls, just near the Dam Square, next to the Royal Palace, you can see the Royal Palace from the bed, great

Perfect location as it is located right on the main streets where all the hustle and bustle is at yet quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Service was impeccable as the staff were all helpful and friendly. Amenities wise, we had a kettle that was rusty but that got replaced quickly after we made a call to the reception. The air-conditioning wasn’t the best either but the very efficient staff helped to fix it and it was much better for the subsequent nights. Room was pretty dated but quite well-kept except the bathroom where the underside of the toilet seat was not cleaned and had visible stains. Overall a relatively good stay at the Swissotel and would recommend to all!

The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam's Dam Square, to Chinatown, just a 10-minute walk from the red light district. The hotel is opposite the Queen's department store, the most exclusive department store in Amsterdam with many designer shops, and the shopping street is the second road on the left side of the hotel. On the pedestrian street, about two or thirty minutes is the flower market. On the right side is the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. On the first floor is the famous watch shop. Walk to Haicheng Restaurant for five minutes. The hotel has only 16 rooms in a boutique hotel. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport. It can be reached by walk from Amsterdam Central Railway Station for about 15 minutes. It is recommended to take a taxi for large luggage, because the road along the road is uneven and difficult to tow. Between 20-30 euros, because you have to detour. The location is the most satisfactory. It is right next to Dam Square and not far from the train station. The front desk service attitude is good and the breakfast restaurant has a good street environment.

The hotel was nice, but my room was located far from the main building. I had to walk through a long, empty hallway every time.

Very decent hotel, clean rooms and showers, most importantly. Chinese front desk lady was the nicest, others were very neutral in their service. This hotel is located close to the red light district, very central. Rooms are very basic, old building, many stairs but that’s the Amsterdam way of life.

We were there for business first then stayed with my husband.  It was a lovely hotel all around.  Perfect stay and service and bar and room and everything.

1000/10!!! Perfect location, right in the center of AMS (canals, red light dist, royal palace, tourist attractions etc) and very close to stations. Highly recommended hotel!

A lovely, welcoming hostel with loads of events every day, a nice bar & lounge area. Great location as it’s super close to Central Amsterdam, and it’s nice to get the ferry back and forth into town every day. Right by an incredible museum too! Had a really nice stay here.

Overall, the stay in the hotel was pleasant. Clean, enough spacios room for two, quiet environment with comfortable bed to take a rest. Public transport a few walk away. Just nearby. Thank you.
