Good service. Good food. Only the shower room is too small and facility not enough.

This hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha

A small beautiful log house in the valley of My Hakkoda. Quaint, rooms are double floor with the living room upstairs. Service was good though English was limited. Only shock we got was there was nothing nearby and as we did not know you had to order your lunch and dinner 3 days in advance!! We literally did not have lunch and dinner was a miserable bowl of soba as that was the only thing they have. And if you do not ski there is really nothing to offer except tons of snow!! Must thank the staff for trying really hard to solve the problems we had.

The hotel is two stories high, and the hot springs are located in the basement. There's no elevator, so if you have large luggage, it's best to request a ground-floor room when booking. When checking in, the staff didn't help me carry my luggage upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel breakfast is a buffet. The buffet isn't very large, but the food is plentiful and delicious. Dinner is served in the restaurant. The food isn't very large, but it's very fresh and delicious. The hot springs are located in the basement, which was inconvenient because I injured my foot during the trip. The hot springs have both an indoor bath and an open-air bath.

Worth recommending! The decoration belongs to the old-fashioned hotel. I didn't expect the breakfast and dinner in the hotel to be so awesome. It's better than the scallops in Aomori's queue king! And the surrounding snow is bigger than the Oirase Gorge!

The hotel is very clean, the hot spring is also very good, the open-air hot spring is very comfortable. I ordered a set meal with dinner. The taste is also very good. There was a heavy snowstorm on the day we went, and the Hakkoda ropeway was closed. The next day it was sunny and we went to the top of the mountain smoothly. The hotel manager drove our family to the ropeway entrance. It was really helpful. I want to go again next year.

I really don't know where this high-rated review came from, anyway, I regretted coming here. First of all, this is not our first time to Aomori, because my daughter and I went there last summer and had a very good impression, so we also arranged Aomori for the last two and a half days of our trip to the northeastern region of Japan this winter, one is to make up for the regret that my father didn't come last time; the other is to see the winter Oirase Gorge and the unique scenery of Aomori in winter, but booking a hotel became a problem, because the hotel in Towada Lake is convenient to Oirase, but there is no shuttle bus, and going to other places and the airport is a problem. The hotels under Hoshino were all fully booked when booking, and the hotels in the city have no characteristics, so I finally chose this place based on the reviews. I think it is not far from the airport, and it is also close to Hakkoda Mountain to see the frost trees. It is also close to the Suanyu Onsen Ryokan where we will stay the next night, so I booked it for nearly 4,000 yuan, but the result was disappointing. First, I asked Ctrip customer service to help me book a shuttle bus. After arriving in Japan, I asked the local hotel staff to help me book a fixed-rate taxi to walk around the Oirase Gorge. Then I took the train to Aomori Station and took the hotel's shuttle bus. However, I didn't expect to take a winding mountain road, which made my family members very uncomfortable with motion sickness. They complained why I booked such a remote place, and the family atmosphere became very unpleasant (the driver of this hotel drove fast, which also caused motion sickness. The shuttle bus of the Suanyu Onsen Hotel drove slowly, so there would be no such motion sickness). Next, dinner was set at a fixed time, and the meal was really average. My daughter hardly touched her chopsticks. Those who said the meal was excellent probably haven't eaten many delicious Kaiseki cuisine in Japan; then the room was small, and it was full after putting three small beds. It was almost impossible to open the suitcase. There was not even a kettle in the room, and we had to ask for one. The worst thing was that there was toilet paper under the bed that was left by the previous guest and it was not cleaned up. It was disgusting. The next day, there was a blizzard in Aomori, and the Hakkoda Mountain Cable Car was closed. The hotel's shuttle bus to Aomori only left at 9 am, and they didn't care about our shuttle back, which meant we had nowhere to go, and there was nothing to do in the hotel except taking a hot spring bath, so we could only lie in the room helplessly and watch the snow falling outside the window. We wasted a day at a high room rate. The hotel gave people the feeling that it was a private hotel with no big brand management at all. This trip, because we booked this hotel, we didn't eat well, rest well, and our mood was even worse. It was terrible. I remind everyone to think twice. Don't book here if you can. The above are my heartfelt words and lessons learned from blood and tears.

The room I booked is a duplex. It is suitable for three or four people with children. The living room is upstairs. Children like to run up and down. The hotel service is good. They take care of the pick-up and drop-off when going to the cable car and climbing, and when coming back and going to JR. The breakfast and dinner are good. There are both Japanese and Western breakfasts, and formal Japanese dinners. They are not repeated in 2 days. Bathing in the open air facing the vast snow is unique! It is worth recommending. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Hakkoda Mountain!

This hotel is probably ranked relatively high among hotels in the Aomori area, but its unexpected features are not very prominent. One of our companions had a fever, so we checked out early the next day and told the hotel we needed to stay later. The hotel was very accommodating and extended our stay by nearly an hour free of charge.

Suitable for experienced skiers, but not for those who want to visit the city. The food is delicious, the apple juice is also delicious, the service is also very good, and the price is very high
