The Bedouin Garden Village is about 15 minutes' drive below Aqaba, very close to the Berenice Beach Club. It is only 150 meters to the sea and beach. In the surrounding area you will find a few other guesthouses with restaurants as well as a restaurant/snack bar on the beach. The beach itself also has free parasols.
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the Garden Village is very quiet and relaxed. The ambience offers many shady spots that invite you to linger and relax in the shade, but in some cases you could wash or clean the upholstery of the Bedouin seating areas. It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't 100% clean either.
In the Bedouin Garden Village there is a diving school with friendly, funny but also competent staff and good equipment. The dives were very relaxed yet interesting, even for experienced divers.
Unfortunately, breakfast was relatively simple: there was flatbread, cream cheese wedges (although these were left in the heat for a long time), jam and a plate with hummus, egg, beans, some fruit and some vegetables. It was still filling though. Unfortunately, the lunch and dinner menu is not particularly extensive: there is a lot of frozen food (fish, hamburgers, calamari), a few salads and a few chicken dishes. You'll get full, it doesn't taste bad, but it's not particularly "wow" either - given the remote location, the selection of restaurants on site is limited.
The rooms were simply but functionally furnished with air conditioning and a refrigerator.
All in all, a great place to stay and unwind for a few days in a quiet environment.
